A couple of hours later, Omari was starting to wake up after surgery.

"Ugh, my head's spinning," said Omari.

"That's normal when tranquilizers start wearing off, just give yourself a few minutes," said Eliza as she packed stuff up.

"Were you able to get the tooth out, doctor?" asked Omari.

"I did, and make sure to take it easy while eating for the next week," said Eliza.

"Also don't gnaw on any bones or you may make the incision open up," she said as she removed her surgery gown and mask.

"I'll keep that in mind," said Omari.

"Dad!" said Amara as she and Kattie came running over.

"Hey, there's my girl," said Omari as Amara jumped on the side of the table to lick his cheek.

"Were you worried for me?" he asked while getting off the table.

"I was, but Kattie told me to have faith in the fact you would be alright," said Amara.

"Thank you for being with her, Kattie," said Omari.

"It was nothing sir, I even managed to get my best picture of the day with her," said Kattie.

"Glad to hear it," said Omari while letting Amara jump off the table. A little while later after the two lions had returned to their pride.

"These photos are great, Kattie," said Eliza while going through the camera.

"You definitely got your knack for photography from your grandmother," she said.

"Even the magazine loved them, but I think this one is my favorite," said Kattie as she hung a printed picture of her and Amara up with other pictures, she had of herself and several other animals.

"You also get your love of animals from your grandfather and I," said Eliza while smiling at her daughter's wall of friends.

"Don't forget my love for making friends out of animals, that I got from you," said Kattie while getting up and heading over to hug her mom.
