Sams' POV:

It was 9:40 when I woke up, but my alarm didn't wake me up Station Officer Steele did. "Samuel, you're an hour and forty minutes late!" I ground I didn't want to wake up, I was too tired. That night there was a large number of emergencies, and it didn't stop untell 3:00 am. But besides that, Station Officer Steele woke me up for something else… it was a party Aaron was throwing for his birthday. All six of us were invited, well all six of my training group not my team, but I didn't think that Cheif Fire Officer Boyce was coming due to his "accident" I still believe that Carder is the one behind all of the firefighter going missing and all of the deaths.

I was at Newtown cafe with Carder and Aaron, the girls were still on their way since they went to a makeup shop. Carder sighed, then sat up straight and looked at me. "Hey Sam, are you attending the annual firefighter's dance with William?" I rolled my eyes "Of core I am, we're best friends." As soon as I was done talking the girls came to the table. "Uh, what took you lot so long!" Aaron grunted. "Amber wanted makeup so we stopped at a store to get some." "Of course, you lot did that, on Aaron's birthday too." Carder rolled his eyes. I got up. "I'm going to the bathroom do you lot need anything while I'm up?" "No, but thanks, Sam." I walked to the men's bathroom and looked in the mirror. I sighed. What are they planning? I walked out of the bathroom and sat down at my table. "Sam, what took you so long?" Carder asked me. "I was using the bathroom," I answered I didn't want it to seem like I was questioning my friends. "Well, Sam it felt like you were in there forever!" I rolled my eyes, god they were dum. About an hour later we all left to go either home or back to work, was going back to work, but I didn't feel well something in that food gave me food poisoning.

Station Officer Steele's POV:

"Station Officer Steele, Sam's back!" Cridlington yelled upstairs, then Sam came into my office. "Hey sir, may I have a 30-minute nap, I'm not feeling that well." He was a bit pale and being a foster dad for Sam and Charlie, it kicked my fatherly instincts. "Of cores, you can Sam," I answered back. He saluted me and walked out. About 2 hours later I went and checked on Sam, he woke up from his nap an hour ago, and he started working instantly, but when I checked on him he was on the floor unconscious blood running from his mouth.

Cliffhanger, I know this took me a while to make and post, but I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
