WOOHP Headquarters - Saturday 5:30 pm

Knock, Knock*

"Come in" Jerry called.

Jason walked in.

"Ah Jason, grab a seat," Jerry said

Jason walked in and sat in one of the chairs.

"So Theresa said, you wanted to see me." Jerry inquired.

"Yes Sir"

"What is it about?"

"Jerry, I know this sounds weird, but ever since I have been here, I have been thinking about so much"

"Tell me more"

"Before WOOHP, I had never known places and people like this existed. I was aware of Police Officers, Firefighters, and even military officers."

"I understand, we have not been one of the best top-secret organizations in the globe."

Jason nods.

"Yeah, I'm now aware." Jason shrugged and chuckled.

He continued, "Up until now, I had been taking a lot of different martial arts to learn how to defend myself. Then afterward, I started to see myself as just one person out of many who were trying to survive and protect themselves and their families."

Jerry nodded.

"I see, any idea where you wanted to take those talents?"

"Well, I wasn't thinking much of it, I wanted to be in the Military, at least be a Firefighter or policeman. Until now."

"What changed Jason?"

"Well, ever since I not only saw my Dad again and met your three spies Clover, Sam, and Alex. Things changed."

Jerry nodded.

"I never knew there were many people like you all who looked out for people around the world like this and worked hard to prevent things like what Witzer had been up to."

"Until this time, I had been training to not only prevent myself from getting hurt but protect my Mom and even your spies before I knew who they were. Now that I do know them better and even what my Dad has been doing, I feel like it has become…well, it's like I wonder how I did I become a part of all this."

He added, "I mean, WOOHP saving mine and my mother's life was one thing, but meeting my Dad and finding out he saves the world with you all and meeting Sam, Clover, and Alex, that's just…well, Woah. I feel like I'm appreciative to you all in more ways than one"

"We are only doing our jobs," Jerry said.

"Yeah...but"

"yes?"

Jason, who felt a bit reluctant, took a few seconds of staring at his clasped hands before he came up with what he wanted to say

Jason then promptly said it:

"I want to be a part of this organization. I want to be a part of it. I know I might not be a spy, but there is a lot of good this organization does that I resonate with and strive to be a part of. There are hundreds of people who need protection out there and all of you have been doing it in ways I couldn't even do alone. You protected me, and my mother gave my dad a job through which he saved me and everyone in Argentina, Japan, and everywhere else, and introduced me to Sam, Clover, and Alex. I never thought I could be meeting spies, let alone go to school with them. Since then, I have met several other people here like them like Dean, and BOB, and I felt a connection to them. They are agents and we grew up differently, but their goals and missions make me feel like I'm connected to something worth striving towards. I may not be a spy like them, but I want to be a part of making this organization be the best"

Jason suddenly felt awkward because it felt like he had dropped way too much on him.

Jerry nodded in affirmation.

"Understandable Jason. Clearly, you have more enthusiasm than my last recruits going in."

Jason looked up feeling a little disarmed but relieved.

Jerry then walked over to the window.

"Clearly this has been quite an overwhelming experience for you that left you with plenty to think about."

"Your mother and I discussed this before you came here."

"You did?"

"We did, we have been watching you for quite some time."

Jerry then pulled up a picture of Jason with a few martial arts trophies.

"We saw how you went from a 7-Time Silver Medalist to a Three-time Gold Medal champion in the Martial Arts Symposium, as well as hitting a 5-time KO record in the Junior Kickboxing Championships."

"Oh," Jason responded in astonishment.

"Your skills were very impressive. But moreso was your willingness to help other people, like my 3 spies."

"I think you remember the time when you stopped Witzer's men from hurting Sam, Clover, and Alex, especially with a trash can lid."

Jason nodded, "Yes"

And the one time where you helped one of my agents free you and the fighters in that ring."

"Yes sir."

"And I even remember your father saying you at 5 years old wanted to be a superhero who stops people from stealing other kids' food and making them cry."

Jason then chuckled awkwardly at his younger self's way of communicating but remembered it.

"Yeah, I kind of remember that. It was a bit corny sounding..."

"Relax Jason, I used to want to be a bit of a superhero myself as a kid that age."

"Although you've not possessed a full spy gene, we do see you have the Instinct".

"Instinct?"

"While willing to protect yourself, you have more willingness to put yourself on the line to protect others as well."

Jason was taking time to ponder this.

"You've also demonstrative fair situational awareness skills as a kid."

"Some of my Karate instructors taught me, as well as BOB* through an action-adventure novel he wrote that my dad used to give me."

Jerry added, "Ah yes, BOB wouldn't have given that to book anyone, considering it was his first draft, but because he was a military friend of your father and saw you as a kid, he couldn't help but make one for you to have."

"Yeah, I was awe seeing the man behind the novel become an agent." Jason chuckled.

"Anyway Jason, I talked it over with your mother, and because you have the skills, I would like to train you, along with some of our prospective agents to find out which role would be best suited for you."

"Me?" Jason replied in amazement.

"You might fill in the role, are you in?"

"Yes sir" Jason nodded.

"Great, I'll see you at 6 PM Friday"

"Yes sir."

"See you then, Jason."

Jason and Jerry shook hands as the latter led the former out the door.

Jason left with the reality of it kicking in, "Woah, I'll be with working with trained WOOHP agents,"
