Reincarnation.
An unbelievable concept that boggled the mind of any who chose to listen.
A lonely soul reborn in a strange yet familiar world in which he would be forced to live again.
In a neat and organized room, a black haired teenage boy lay on the floor doing push-ups. Sweat drip from his lean and compact muscles as he rose and descended with each count.
Str has increased by 1!
He didn't stop, unaffected by the prompt that appeared in front of his eyes. He merely glanced at it without pausing in his workout.
With his body preoccupied, he absentmindedly pulled up another prompt with a single thought.
Name: Isen Midoriya
Level:1
Hp:2050
Str:40
Dex:45
Vit:41
Int:72
Wis:65
Points:0
Being reborn into the Midoriya household was an interesting experience to say the least. Imagine his surprise when he found himself in a cradle beside his new twin brother, Izuku Midoriya.
How did he know they were twins?
The green haired woman whose face kept staring down at them with a motherly smile while saying it pretty much convinced him.
His first few weeks were spent in denial, confusion and hope.
Hope that he would wake up and it would all be a dream.
That it was all some sick joke.
Alas it wasn't so.
He couldn't even remember his own name before he was brought here. Friends and family were a bit blurry but he was convinced that they were real. Other than that, his memory was perfectly intact.
Whether it was an effect of already dying once, he didn't know but he would use it to his advantage.
The constant pestering by Izuku made it slightly easier to believe that the world around him was real. The boy was surprisingly yet unsurprisingly clingy with Isen despite being the slightly older twin.
With him beginning to accept these facts, time moved faster. Sooner than he thought, the day to find out what his quirk would be had arrived.
He didn't have any high expectations for himself. He would be happy with even the most basic quirk. After all, quirk evolution or growth was a possibility that he could work for to make it useful.
Unfortunately, he was more like Izuku than he thought. After all manner of tests, they were both pronounced quirkless.
He paused his workout as the memory came to the forefront of his mind.
"I'm sorry but you're both quirkless." The doctor said with a somber tone to the family of three.
Inko Midoriya, their mother, covered her mouth with her hands as Izuku looked utter devastated. Ever since Izuku could talk, all he would talk about was how he wanted to be a hero like All Might when he got his quirk.
She couldn't imagine how devastated he was as he basically looked lifeless. Isen on the other hand was a different case.
His reaction was a bit more subdued than Izuku.
While they were twins, they didn't exactly share the exact same likes and characters. While Izuku possessed a cheerful demeanor, Isen's countenance was quieter than his twin, opting to stay quiet most of the time rather than fantasize about heroics.
Though there was a look of shock, Isen merely looked disappointed. Even after the four years that she had raised him, she could barely figure out what went through her child's head.
A few minutes later, the three were in Inko's car on their way back home. Izuku sat in the front seat, still looking lifeless.
Isen looked out the car from the backseat with a disappointed but thoughtful look on his face.
'What do I do now?' He thought.
He was very well aware of the dangers that existed in this world. His existence may have caused a butterfly effect on the world around them, it didn't change the fact that he was canon fodder as he was.
'With that route closed off, I have to find another way t-' His thoughts were interrupted by an electronic sound in his head as a prompt appeared before him.
Welcome Host!
It was only by luck that Inko and Izuku missed his wide eyes as he read the prompt.
'With this...' He thought with budding hope.
He stopped his push-ups, getting to his feet as sweat rolled off him. He had been working out for a few hours now to further improve his stats.
From his observation and research, he had theorized that the stats of the average adult were around 10 to 17.
Being only 14 at the moment, he had spent a vast majority of his time working out to increase his stats.
Books were a great source of Int and Wis while the physical stats were slightly tricky. With every point he gained in physical stats, the harder it would be to further grow that stat.
He couldn't even imagine his mother's face if he'd asked to go to the gym given how young he was so he was on his own.
He didn't have a mana or energy bar like one would expect from a system so he focused on increasing his base stats and acquiring as many skills as possible.

Partial Gamers Body[Max]
Partial Gamers Mind[Max]
He'd easily guessed that the partial gamer body was responsible for his lack of mana. He wasn't the type to sit and whine while waiting for things to go his way.
He had instead focused on becoming hyper competent in multiple areas. Martial art skills could easily be learnt online but leveling them up was a hassle when he didn't have a partner.
Izuku was too busy wallowing in denial at his lack of power and refused to do anything. As long as he refused to accept his powerlessness and look at things more realistically, Isen could do nothing for him.
Sneaking in and out of the house every now to level up the stealth skill was very exhausting and took a long while until it became ineffective.
When he wasn't working himself to the bone with different types of workout, he found himself engrossed in technology.
Disassembling and reassembling devices that he managed to get his little hands on, despite it being weird, was a priority that helped in gaining and leveling the engineering skill.
The manuals and textbooks he read were also a massive help in doing that and played a massive role with the limitations of materials to work on.
Inko saw everything as his method of coping with the fact that he was quirkless and supported him, trying her best to provide him with different kinds of tech or parts of tech she thought he would find interesting.
Though she was worried about the amount of stress he could incur, she was slightly happy that he was being productive rather than other manners of vices.
While Isen had turned to technology and workouts, Izuku had engrossed himself in the fantasy life of heroes and villains.
His grades were easily higher than Izuku's, allowing him to test out of school a year early. He didn't let the year go to waste, pushing himself further with more free time on his hands.
He turned his eyes to the laptop on his desk, the screen muted as it displayed a female reporter speaking into her microphone.
The video then shifted to one of All Might punching the air in front of him, a greenish sludge creature splashing in the air as the weather took a slight turn.
'It should be starting around now.' Isen thought, watching the familiar scene.
Quickly taking a shower, he exited his room as he heard the sound of the front door being opened.
"I'm home!" Izuku's voice announced as he locked the door behind him.
"Izuku! You're back so late. How was school?" Inko questioned from the kitchen causing Isen to frown briefly.
'It was okay, mom. I got All Might's autograph!" Izuku answered excitedly.
'She doesn't know about the sludge incident otherwise she'd be screaming in hysteria.' Isen thought as he walked down the stairs.
Izuku's uniform was more wrinkled than usual, further proving his thoughts that things were about to start.
"Isen! All Might signed my book!" Izuku said loudly upon seeing his twin.
They were easy to tell apart with Isen lacking Izuku's freckles and his hair being a darker shade of green, being almost black. His green eyes being the major thing he shared with Izuku.
"That's good for you. How did you meet him?" Isen asked, playing dumb as Izuku began excitedly retelling the events that lead to it, leaving out All Might's secret which he wasn't aware that Isen knew.
"Isen, you're down already? Can you come and help me over here?" Inko asked as Izuku finished his tale.
With cooking skill at level 70, it was no shock that he was very well wanted in the kitchen. Inko easily admitted that his food was far beyond hers.
'Perhaps I could start a restaurant sometime in the future. When I don't have to worry about being squashed by any random person.' He thought as he considered his future for a moment.
Unlike Izuku who had been granted the opportunity to inherit All Might's power, he couldn't see himself entering the hero course in U.A.
Even with his skill set, he couldn't beat the robots that would be used in the entrance exam. While he could build something to help with that, equipment weren't allowed in the exam.
Even if they were allowed, he didn't find himself drawn to being a hero. His main goal was survival and U.A was merely a stepping stone to acquiring that strength.
'Alternatively, I could easily enter the support course.' He thought offhandedly. No more than a few seconds after he said it, a prompt appeared in front of his sight as he cut up some ingredients.
Quest Received!
Objective: Ace the exams and get admitted into U.A's support course!
