Eddie peeks into their bedroom, frowning gently. Richie had been laying in bed for weeks now. He hardly left, not even to shower.

He walks up to his husband. "Rich, honey... you wanna come to the store with me..?" He asks gently, brushing greasy locks from his face. No response.

"Rich?" Eddie murmurs. "'M tired..." Richie mumbles. His heart broke seeing Richie like this. "Why don't you take a shower? Freshen up and have some lunch?"

By 2 and a half months however, Eddie had enough. "Richie," He says, gentle yet firm, "Get up," He only curled up in response.

Eddie sighs, walking up to him. He tugged the blanket away and lifted his husband up in his arms. Richie barely protested. "You can't stay in bed forever," He says gently.

The male set his husband in the tub, undressing him before turning the tap on. Richie spoke once the water hit his stomach.

"Its my fault... ." Richie looks away from his husband. The doctor said he wasn't at fault, that it happened and he did nothing wrong. But that didn't stop the guilt eating him through the inside out.

"Richard Wentworth Tozier-Kaspbrak, don't you ever say that again," Eddie scolds, cupping his cheeks with his hands. "You did absolutely nothing wrong. No one could've predicted what happened,"

The male's eyes watered. "How can you say that?!" He asks, "I did everything... I-I took the vitamins, I ate right, and... a-and I lost our baby," he sobs out.

Eddie could only sigh, hugging Richie close as his husband sobbed into his chest. He kisses his hair, eyes squeezing shut as tears slid down his cheeks. He'd never felt heartbreak like this before.

"I'm not going," Richie says, slipping his hoodie on over his head.

"Rich, there's no shame in going to support groups. Everyone there lost the same thing. They're there to help you, for you all to support one another," Eddie says. He rubs Richie's shoulders. "You had a miscarriage..." The word felt too heavy on his tongue, "You need to talk about it, to someone who knows more than I do..."

Richie sniffles, nodding a little. "Okay..." The male hugs himself close. The shame that came with this... it made his stomach swirl and his heart sink. It still felt like all his fault... .

"We'll get through this," Eddie murmurs, "I promise," He adds.
