Chapter One: Going Home (Tokyo, Japan)

Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, Shippo and Kagome just got arrived back to the village tracking Naraku with no results; there were times that we almost caught him only to escape once again before we can do anything about it...Shippo however, decided to play with the village kids with Kiara not far away.

"Mama," Shippo happily exclaimed.

"Hey Shippo, did you have fun?" Kagome greeted her adopted son.

"Yeah, we were playing a new game that you taught us?" Shippo greeted his adopted mom.

"And what game is that?" I held him close into a hug not wanting him to worry but, he knows me too well.

"I think you said it was hide and seek?" Shippo perked up then noticed the tears from her face "Mama what's wrong?"

"Nothing it's just been a long day," Kagome explained.

"Did Inuyasha make you upset again?" Shippo frowned at this.

"No surprisely he hasn't...I just miss going home that's all," Kagome explained.

Shippo frowned "Don't you want to stay with us mama?" he asked.

"Of course I do but, I have family back home Shippo you know that," Kagome explained.

"That's true...I wish I can go with you so we don't have to be separated anymore," Shippo murmured.

Kagome's P.O.V.

'That makes two of us Shippo...' I thought to myself noticing that Inuyasha is now back to his original spot by the tree 'Wait a minute...if I can get Inuyasha to agree...for everyone to come there has to be a way that everyone can come with me instead of going back and forth...'

"You know what Shippo," I murmured

"What mama?" Shippo asked curiously got the best of him.

"I have a plan and it might work," I told him.

"Plan what kind of plan mama?" Shippo asked curiously.

"For Inuyasha to let me go home...after all I have to drop my grandpa and my mama to the airport to see my cousins across town tomorrow in the morning. It's about 5 ½ hours away from where I live, they could take the cab but, it would cost a lot of money so it would be best that I drove them to the airport where it's less expensive," I told him.

"What's an airport?" Shippo asked.

"It's like a transportation where you can go anywhere you want to go, you have to purchase a ticket, pick a place and they can take you to that place in an airplane. It's like a big plane where they can hold at least 200-500 passengers depending on the plane," I explained.

Shippo blinked his eyes owlish with a smile "That sounds awesome can I come with you?" he asked.

"Only if we ...get Inuyasha to agree then maybe it might work," I whispered.

"You think it would work mama," Shippo whispered.

"It might...maybe Miroku, Sango, Kirara and you can come with me and Inuyasha. It's always the two of us ...if it could work with Inuyasha then it could work with you guys," I explained.

"Okay you go ask Inuyasha and I'll tell Miroku and Sango the news," Shippo excitedly says.

"Not yet Shippo, just tell Miroku and Sango that we'll meet them at the well tomorrow okay," I explained gently.

"Okay but, what about the plan?" Shippo asked all confuse.

"Don't tell them everything I want to make sure it works I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, does that makes sense sweetie," I told him.

Shippo frowned thinking to himself and nodded at this "Yes I understand mama it's our little secret right?" he asked.

"Yes, our little secret, keep it to yourself until I figure out how to get everyone to come with me okay," I told him.

"Okay," Shippo then hugged me goodnight "Goodnight mama,"

"Goodnight sweetheart sweet dreams," I murmured kissing him on the forehead.

The next morning I got up pretty early then necessary...since I couldn't sleep well that's when I noticed that Sango and Miroku were still asleep I looked at the time it was barley 6:30 in the morning which is still early even for me. I decided to make breakfast but, then again there's not much to make I suppose I should grab groceries when I get home today at least, I'm hoping too since I have to drop off mama and grandpa off to the airport. I see Shippo my adopted son and Kiara cuddled next to each other and I realized that Inuyasha must've dozed off from our long journey by his spot which is a tree that clears his mind at least in theory anyway.

It's the only spot that clears his mind about things...

I stretched my arms and gave a sleepy yawn, getting up and sneaked away quietly not wanting to disturb anyone from their sleep by grabbing my backpack to heading home but, not without letting Inuyasha know. I bit my bottom lip nervously not sure how he'd react after all he never lets me go home unless it was an emergency.

I walked to where Inuyasha was, from his tree spot. I noticed he's sleeping and figured he's still awake deep into his thoughts probably thinking about Kikyo. I tried to stop the tears but, shakes my head no time to cry over this...he already made his choice there's no point on pushing Inuyasha to be with me. I noticed his ears moved a little probably having dreams about the ...other Miko. I shouldn't feel jealous but, I can't help myself at least this way it would give myself time to move on with my life without Inuyasha in it.

It still stung, not going to lie on that but, I knew deep down that Inuyasha and I weren't meant to be together except being best friends but, unfortunately my heart had other ideas; I however, decided to let him go even if it's going to take a long time for me to move on from him. He was my first love that won't ever change.

"Hey Inuyasha," I yelled from the ground where he slowly opens his eyes raising his eyebrow at me.

"Kagome," Inuyasha began to say as he jumped down from the tree "You woke up awfully early...anything wrong?"

"Nope nothing's wrong and good morning to you too" I ignored the pain in my heart "I just decided some stuff," I murmured.

Inuyasha stared at me weirdly "What kind of stuff,"

"Nothing for you to worry about Inuyasha but, there is something I want to tell you though,"

"Oh and what's that?"

"I'm heading home,"

"...home?"

"Yes, I have family affairs that I have to do. I'm dropping off my mama and my grandpa to the airport today and they need to get there before they miss their flight, they could take the cab but, that would be expensive so I'm going to drive them there," I told him.

"To the airport?"

"Yes,"

"Why are they going to the airport?"

"To visit my aunt and my cousins which is across town it's about 5 ½ hours from where I live so they're taking the plane to get there?"

"I didn't know you have cousins?"

"That's because you never asked me,"

"...Oh..."

Inuyasha stared at me for a long moment which was odd because he never stared at me before not since ...no can't think like that. I'm trying to move on from him.

"Okay...you can go,"

"And before you start to argue you can't just-" I stopped mid-sentence about to scold him but, he agreed with me which never happened before "Wh-what did you just say?" I asked.

"I said you can go," Inuyasha shrugged at this not wanting to make a big deal with a raise eyebrow "How long are you be gone this time?" he asked.

I blinked my eyes owlishly; he never lets me go he usually complains or pick up fights with me or argues that we have to find the jewel but, today was different why?

'Well this is new...he never agree to let me go home...why the sudden change of mind Inuyasha?' I thought to myself.

"Kags are you okay?" Inuyasha asked waving his hand in front of my house as I continued to stare at him gawking at him.

"Yes, I'm fine," I stared at him suspiciously "Just thinking...wait a minute did you just agree to let me go home for once no arguments or picking fights with me that we have to look for the jewel," I pointed out.

"Yeah, I am," Inuyasha shrugged noticing I kept staring at him suspiciously "I'm not going to stop you this time. What? Why are you staring at me like that,"

"You never let me go home," I pointed out.

Inuyasha grew quiet staring at me for another moment and took a deep breath "Your right I usually don't but, I figured we can just you know make amends with each other just this once ...and if you're not happy about it then I'll be happy to oblige to argue against you since I'm starting to get irritated and tired arguing with you whenever you go home," he explained.

"But, why? You never done that before?" I asked curiously.

"I just come to terms that you're not from around here and ...I can't force you to stay here even if everyone else wants you to stay here,"

"But you always do,"

"Not always ...I mean don't you ever get tired when we argue all the time,"

I stared at him completely startled as I couldn't stop but, stare at him. This has to be a dream because the real Inuyasha wouldn't say that to me.

"Are you sure you're okay Inuyasha?" I asked.

'No this can't be real,' I thought to myself.

"Feh," Inuyasha scoffed at this, crossing his arms together as he continued to talk "I'm fine wrench I just decided not to argue with you this time. I didn't realize that being nice to you was such a crime," he explained.

"Who are you and what have you done with Inuyasha," I told him with a hoarse tone which made Inuyasha stare at me.

"I just..." Inuyasha paused for a moment feeling a bit stressed out "Why is this so hard for me to explain myself around you," he mumbled under his breath.

"Hard to explain about what?" I asked.

"Nothing...nothing...I've been thinking a lot and like I told you I wanted to make amends with you without us fighting all the time and if you're not happy about it wench then I'll be happy to oblige to start another fed up argument with you despite how I'm so tired of arguing, can't we just have a normal conversation without any fights with each other," Inuyasha explained.

I blankly stare at him stunned with the sudden change of heart now it's worrying me and felt more suspicious than before so I decided to do what I normal do. I pitched him.

"Owe what the hell was that for wench?!" Inuyasha cried out rubbing the spot I pinched him on.

I smiled knowing it's him and it wasn't a dream. He really agreed to let me go home. oh what a happy day but, I'm still suspicious on why he's being so weirdly nice so I'ma play along until he comes back to normal.

"Now there's the Inuyasha that we know and love. I actually thought you were being serious but, thank you. I don't really need your permission to go home ya know...I only just wanted to let you know in case you don't see me for a few days so...thank you," I told him.

I didn't even notice Inuyasha stared at me again until I looked up noticing that we're now face to face with each other.

"Wh-why are you staring at me like that," I asked nervously.

Inuyasha titled his head then shook his head by looking away "Feh whatever," he began to say pausing for a moment noticing the rest of the gang were heading our way "We should go the guys are probably wondering what's taking us so long...and grab food on the way too" he explained.

'Food...of course,' I smacked myself on the head 'He's only nice to me because of the food...I should've known,' I growled into my thoughts.

"I knew it was too good to be true...of course we shouldn't forget about the food and the number of supplies that we need Inuyasha," I grumbled under my breath in Italian.

Inuyasha stared at me weirdly "You say something Kags?"

"Nope," I gave a strain smile "Not at all but, you're right we should get some food and supplies for our journey," I told him as he helped me up causing us to stare at each other again; I held my breath staring at him until he put a strain of hair behind my hair.

"You seem different today," Inuyasha whispered.

"Different as a good thing or bad thing," I squeaked, trying not to squeak but, he makes me nervous like feeling my heart beating so fast nervous.

"Defiantly a good thing," Inuyasha murmured as if he was memorized by my eyes and before either of us knew we were drawn closer...closer until I widen my eyes in horror not wanting to be that damsel in distress and rejected him by pushing him off me.

I turned around quickly feeling my heart pounding once more.

'God damn it Inuyasha...you need to stop ...stop toying with me and my emotions it's not funny anymore...' I thought to myself crying in despair.

"We should go," I murmured walking a bit fast heading to the village not realizing that Inuyasha watched me walking away.

Once I reached to the village, I didn't realize Inuyasha was behind me leaning against the wall where Sanga and Miroku woke up and saw me sighing in relief.

"Oh there you guys are we were wondering where you two went..." Miroku began to say noticing how we're not arguing like we usually do and curiously got the best of them "Is everything alright?" he asked noticing our serious expressions well mostly Inuyasha as for me I just gave an assure smile.

"Actually Miroku-sama, Sango-chan we wanted to talk to you both," I asked them.

"Feh," Inuyasha scoffed at this "I never said that Kags,"

I rolled my eyes "Fine I wanted to talk to you both Inuyasha had nothing to do with this conversation,"

"O..kay so what is it Kagome-chan," Sango asked with a worried expression.

Ever since I went to the feudal era Sango and I instantly bonded and became the best friends. I can tell her anything especially when it comes with boys, we have that in common except we're independent without the whole damsel in distress waiting for your prince charming kind of thing. She became my best friend and a sister to me that we don't ever hide secrets from each other so she knows how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking sometimes.

"Of course everything's fine Sango-chan I was just wondering if you guys want to accompany us in my time in Tokyo, we need to get some supplies to get and it usually takes awhile depends on what day is down and since I never tried to get you guys come with us before I thought we should try it now since Kaede-sama showed me what to do in case we run into trouble or it's an emergency," I explained.

"I would love to come Kagome-chan I've always been curious where you come from especially the stuff that you always bring with you. It made me very curious what else they have over there," Sango explained.

"Great," I perked up happily then turned to Miroku "What about you Miroku-sama would you like to come too? It would help a lot for Inuyasha since he'll have someone to talk too since I'll be too busy getting the food and supplies for us," I explained.

"I would love to come and accompany you Kagome-sama and keep Inuyasha company but, what about Shippo and Kiara. Will they be able to come with us too I would hate to leave Shippo by himself since he's your adopted son and all," Miroku explained.

We all turned to the village where Shippo was playing with the village kids with Kiara following suit.

"Of course they're coming I just need to let Kaede-sama know and we'll be good to go guys since I've been practicing with my powers. Kaede-sama told me that I'm beginning to get powerful and stronger by the minute even powerful then-" I began to say mid-stopped shaking my head and slupped my shoulders.

"Then Kikyo," Miroku murmured.

"Yes...her..." I murmured.

"We understand," Miroku replied giving Kagome an assure smile which she smiled back.

"Thanks Mirkoku-sama you're one of my best friends and a brother I never had besides Souta I mean," I explained.

"Of course Kagome-sama and you're like a sister and one of my best friends to me too," Mirkoku explained.

"We'll meet you at the well," Sanga suggested.

"Sounds like a plan I'll meet you over there don't forget to grab Shippo and Kiara would you since we're leaving soon Sango," I told her.

"Of course Kagome-sama," Sanga explained.

"Perfect I'll see you there," I told her.

Once we went on our separate ways, I headed to Kaede-sama hut but, I noticed that Inuyasha didn't leave with them but, stayed with me which startled me since I didn't noticed he was there.

"Inuyasha what are you doing?" I was startled by him next to me "You scared me,"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you I wasn't going to leave you by yourself," Inuyasha explained.

"I could've handled walking to Kaede-sama on my own," I told him.

"I know you would but, I needed to talk to the old hag anyway," Inuyasha shrugged at this "It's kind of important," he explained

"About what?" I asked curiously.

"Don't worry about it," Inuyasha hesitated at this looking away "I just need to talk to her..." he murmured.

"Okay," I shrugged not wanting to get into it "We should go now before it gets dark," I explained.

"Okay," Inuyasha murmured.

We both walked to the hut where Kaede-sama was making beef stew since I gave her the recipe, everyone in the village including Kaede-sama loves the beef stew that I made so I gave her the recipe of it. Since Kaede-sama is the current priestess and the young sister of Kikyo's it still gave me a pain in my heart but, couldn't do much about it since Inuyasha already made his decision.

"Oh hello Kagome, Inuyasha did ye just got back?" Kaede sama asked.

"Yes, I did I was just letting Inuyasha know that I'm heading home since I have to drop my mama and my grandpa at the airport today," I told her.

"Oh course," Kaede-sama nodded at this noticing Inyasha serious tone "Inuyasha what's with the ye serious face?" she asked curiously.

"We need to talk," Inuyasha replied.

"About what?" Kaede sama replied.'

"I'll let Kagome finish her talk with you and then we'll talk then it's important," Inuyasha replied.

"If ye insist Inuyasha," Kaede sama replied.

"Well I was just letting you know that I'm heading off I'll see you Kaede-sama I'll even bring something back for you and the villagers to try okay," I told her.

"Ye no need to do that but, if ye insist," Kaede-sama replied.

"I don't mind it would help to upgrade some stuff but, not everything I just wanted to show everyone how it works in the future," Kagome explained.

"Of course if ye insist Kagome you should head over to your home I'm sure your family will be happy to see ye," Kaede sama explained.

"Oh right I should go. I'll see you later," I bowed and waved goodbye to Kaede-sama then turned to Inuyasha "I'll meet you at the well," I asked.

"Yeah, I'll see you at the well," Inuyasha replied.

Inuyasha's P.O.V.

Once Kagome was out of reach, I sat down in front of Kaede who turned to me with a raise eyebrow.

"What is it ye want to talk about Inyasha?" Kaede-sama asked.

"It's about Kikyo..." I murmured.

"What about my sister Inuyasha?" Kaede-sama asked.

I was deep in thought "She asked me to go with her to hell..."

Kaede-sama blinked her eyes owlishly "Of course she did, I assume ye want to go with my sister," she explained.

"At first I did...because I love her...and we both learned what really happened to her because of Naraku but, then...my feelings started to change..."

"Oh?"

"Don't get me wrong I'll always ...care about Kikyo but, my feelings started to change with-"

"Kagome,"

"...Yes,"

"I see,"

"Are you angry?"

"No I'm not a bit ye surprise,"

"You're not?"

"No, I knew ye would move on with your life. My sister isn't the same person she was once was...and ever since Kagome came into our lives things started to change. You weren't the same person ye once was Inuyasha. You used to be ...cold hearted back then...she changed you not because you're a half demon but, you have a family. Ye have friends who cares about you, it doesn't matter if you're a half demon, a full demon they care about ye for ye. My sister does love ye yes but, there are times I wonder if she really love ye not as a half demon but, human side as well. She wanted ye to be full human to be with her would you willing to do that," Kaede explained.

"If you asked me years ago, I would've done it in a heartbeat but, things started to change when Kagome came into our lives," I told her.

"Ye did change Inuyasha and I believe my sister can't see that. She knew that you weren't going to wait for her but, I think deep down she wanted ye to pick her," Kaede explained.

"You think she didn't love me because I'm a half demon,"

"No she loved ye half demon or not but, I think she wanted you to change as a human without being a half demon. That's not ye want Inuyasha. You want someone to love ye half demon, human or not. She never loved you like that but, Kagome did," Kaede explained.

I stared at her surprise "How do you know,"

"You're not the only one who has eyes Inuyasha," Kaede smiled at this causing me to flush "Besides...you never smiled like you did with Kagome. You never smiled when Kikyo was alive...I remembered like it was yesterday you changed my sister but, she also changed you to be someone that you're not. Kagome wouldn't do that to ye. She loves ye for ye I think that's something to think about Inuyasha," she explained.

"Yeah..." I looked away for a moment then got up "Well we'll talk more when I get back okay," I explained.

"Of course Inuyasha, I know ye love my sister but, don't be with my sister out of guilt. Be with her because ye want too by following your heart not for anyone's benefits that includes my sister Inuyasha," Kaede explained.

"I will see you later," I told her.

"See ye later Inuyasha," Kaede explained.

I headed to the well where Kagome, Sango and Miroku were laughing with Shippo being held by Kagome and Kiara on Sango's. I felt my heart pounding whenever I see her laugh, I smiled. I never noticed it before but, seeing Kagome smile always made me feel at peace. Like nothing's gonna happen. I always felt that I can be myself with Kagome without changing into someone that I don't want too and Kagome never tried to change me; she loves me for me as a best friend not as a half demon or a human.

Ever since I was born I always wondered what made me different until my mother explained and I never had anyone care about me like that not since my mom died and it scared me to feel that way again. I thought Kikyo and I love each other because we love each other but that was before the whole Naraku happen ...50 years later that's when I met Kagome who came into my life. It made me realize that I'm falling in love with her and that scares me until this morning when I really looked at her that made me accept my love for her and made a promise to myself that I won't ever let go.

[Yu-Yu Hakusho-(Future Tokyo, Japan)...in the spirit demon world in Koena's office discussing the next job for Yusuke and his friends to do...but, unfortunately Yusuke wasn't paying attention due to the face that Keiko his girlfriend of 2 years broke up with him...he couldn't help but, think of their breakup and hasn't been himself so he's a bit grumpy then usual and made his friends worried]...

[flashback 3 ½ days]...

Yusuke's P.O.V.

"You're kidding right," Yusuke stared at girlfriend, well ex-girlfriend now, the girl has brown hair who shifted uncomfortable standing in front of him "You can't be seriously telling me you want to break up," he explained.

"No Yusuke ...this isn't a joke...I'm just tired of the same excuse I mean I barely see you anymore because you're always on those dangerous missions and I don't even know if I'll ever see you again," Keiko explained looking away from him.

"Keiko, you know that those missions are important to me and I can't exactly tell you where it is because I'm not allowed too you already know that," Yusuke pleaded at her.

They were standing on a deserted part of the park but, it wasn't helping much since that was their spot whenever they're together as a couple, it's the only place that made him feel happy.

"More important than me?" Keiko asked looking at him with a sad pleading look I her eyes.

Yusuke looked hesitated to answer this.

"See you can't even give me an answer because that's exactly what I'm talking about ...you can't even make up your mind right away. I even asked you once more before whenever you go out on one of your missions and you told me you're not allowed and you never tell me the real answer," Keiko explained.

"Keiko the only reason I don't tell you these things because 1) I don't want you worry about the mission that I go too and 2) I'm not allowed it's part of the contract that I signed before I came back or did you forget that too. It's one of the reasons why I took this job in the first place and you knew that," Yusuke argued back crossing his arms protectively.

Yusuke looked away for a few moments and looked directly at Keiko's eyes hoping to some god out there that she'd understand but, she doesn't and thought she'd wait for him but, couldn't believe what he's hearing. He just couldn't believe it. He felt such an idiot for even thinking for one moment he could be happy with someone but, apparently, he can't.

"Yusuke...what if we had kids...they'd be in danger too and I can't be with someone who would endanger our kids..." Keiko began to say with a whisper pausing for a moment "I-I thought I could wait for you forever but, I can't...I'm so sorry...it's over...between us please understand...I am so sorry Yusuke..." she explained kissing him on the cheek.

Before Yusuke can answer Keiko turned running out of the park and out of his life forever.

He couldn't believe what just happen...she left him...she told him that she would wait for him forever ...was that a lie too...Yusuke walked over to the nearby beach and laid down looking up at the sky. It was such a beautiful day yet it wasn't.

And for the first time in two years...Yusuke cried. It was the only time he ever cried since his dad died when he was a kid.

[end of flashback]...

"Alright...after some readings there's still a Miko priestess around these parts in Tokyo, Japan not far from where you like Yusuke," Koenma starts to say while I was deep into my thoughts rethinking about the break up that I didn't noticed that Kuwabara worried expression with Kurama and Hiei although he doesn't show it but, I knew he cared about us deep down he just won't admit it; we have that in common and didn't even hear the last part "So I need you to talk to her Yusuke..." he explained.

Although I didn't notice everyone was staring at me with a worried expression

"YUSUKE ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" Koenma exclaimed.

Kuwabara tried to gain my attention by waving his hand in front of my face but, I was too numb to answer and couldn't really concentrate since my breakup with Keiko 3 ½ days ago and failed to answer.

"Uh boss...I don't think he can hear you..." Kuwabara hesitated to answer turning to me "Yo...Uremishi you okay man?" he asked trying to snap me out of it.

"And...WHY THE HELL NOT!?" Koenma began to say causing me to roll my eyes considering he's yelling right in front of me "YUSUKE?!"

"No need to YELL TOODLER since I'm right in FRONT OF YOU!?" I exclaimed trying to remain calm but, unfortunately my emotions aren't exactly stable at the moment.

I can still feel the pain inside my heart...it's numb, sore and heartbroken from my breakup from Keiko. I don't know how to feel about it and it's not helping much that I have to work when I could've been-I sighed trying to figure out what to do now.

"Yusuke did you even hear what I just explain to you," Koenma explained calmly as everyone looked at me with worried looks except Hiei who scowled.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I heard you. Talk to the Miko. Got it," I scowled looking away "Are we done yet? I got somewhere to be," I explained crossing my arms looking away from him.

Koenma may look like a baby but, he's practically a young adult in a baby form from what I've been told anyway where he looked at me for a long moment.

"No we're not even close to being done...you guys have to head to Genkai's in a few weeks and she'll tell you what to do from there," Koenma explained.

I raised my eyebrow at the toddler "And why do we need to go back to Genkai's place again?" I asked.

Koenma sighed tiredly "Well if you paid a speck of attention Yusuke you would know that Genkai's grandchildren are going to live with them but, unfortunately, she's been trying to get a hold of her granddaughter for days but, no answer which is very unlike her granddaughter because she always pick up," he explained.

"Genkai has grandchildren?" I asked curiously.

"Yes, yes she does," Koenma explained.

"I didn't know she has any family," Kuruma replied.

"You never asked her and even if you did it's still sensitive for her to talk about...she hasn't seen her grandchildren in a long time so ...it's a first time that she gets to reconnect with her grandchildren," Koenma explained.

"What do you mean?" Kuruma asked.

"Meaning that she hasn't seen her grandchildren since they were young...her young grandson was only a baby then and her eldest granddaughter was only 3 years old when she last saw her," Koenma explained.

"Oh I see...it sounds complicated and similar to my situation in my family as well," Kuruma explained.

"Oh how so fox?" Hiei asked.

"My mother and my aunt are ...sisters in-law my mother is my uncle's sister but, unfortunately my uncle died from a drunk driver...I haven't seen my aunt, grandfather or my two cousins since my uncle's funeral so this is the first time we get to reconnect with my cousins. It's really funny how it's so similar sort of," Kuruma explained.

"Well you know how families are Kuruma," Koenma explained.

"That I do," Kuruma began to say noticing the raise eyebrows from the rest of us then cleared his throat "So about Genkai's grandchildren? How are they ...connected to all this?" he asked.

"Genkai's grandchildren are important in this mission because the granddaughter of Genkai's is the Miko that I'm hoping that Yusuke can convince her to join our team," Koenma explained.

"And how am I supposed to convince her to join our team if I don't know who she looks like," I scowled at this since I don't have time to babysit some teenager "Is there any more information than Genkai's grandchildren?" he explained.

"Yes, there is because she's also the Miko the same Miko priestess that I'm hoping you can convince her to join our team Yusuke and one of the main reasons why I ask for you pacifically is because you two have something in common," he explained.

"Like what which I doubt she has anything to do with the demons in this world,"

"Actually you'd be surprised because she's actually good friends with most of the demons here she's the whole reason why most the demons that you came across and became friends with and most youkai demon lords are good friends with her and they tend to be overprotective with her even if she doesn't seem like she can't fight but, don't be deceive by her reputation she can pack a punch if you get in her bad side and doesn't like to be underestimated by her peers and if I were you I wouldn't provoke her when you meet her," Koenma explained.

"Hm." Hiei replied.

"And how exactly is she that powerful and how are we supposed to protect or ask her to join our team if we don't have anything or information on what she looks like and won't see her now then a few weeks than Genkai planned to see them," I complained.

"The only common you both have is that you can see demons and she's also a demon," Keonma explained.

"She's a demon," Yusuke surprised by this "I thought you said they were human?"

"They are but, as I explained her granddaughter is a Miko, a priestess which means she can purify a demon without any problems," Koenma explained.

"And how is that us having something in common?" I complained at this.

"Because you both live the same life that you're currently having Yusuke. Trust me you both have a lot in common," Koenma explained.

"You're the boss..." I scoffed at this looking away pondering for a moment "I have one question though," I told him.

"And what is that?" Koenma asked.

"How is she that powerful I thought Miko's aren't existence in this part of town," I asked.

"They usually aren't but, as I mentioned before Lady Genaki won't give out any more information besides being her grandchildren all I know is that she's been trying to get a hold of her grandchildren for quite some time they were supposed to come visit a few days ago considering they're the only family left from her youngest daughter...she's been worried sick that she's been stressing out and being a bit frantic that it took Yukina to calm her down so once she gets a hold of her grandchildren you guys will arrive and will together with them as soon as possible..." Koenma began to say making a defeated sigh pressing the button "Botan will you please come to the office and transport them into Genkai's place so they can send a package for me which is quite urgent that she's gets asap since I'm currently bust to do that right now," he explained.

"Sure thing boss," Botan began to say being her perky self since we're already used to this and grabbed the package from Koenma and grabbed my hand along with the guys "Come on guys let's get gong she's waiting for you in the other side by the training grounds..." she continued to chat away since no one was paying attention until "Come on Yusuke you can go first," she announced until we heard a loud Thump.

Botan hesitated looked thru the hole noticing her best friend Yusuke was slammed flat on the ground which she winced at this until—

"Botan," Yusuke growled.

Botan squeaked hiding behind Kurama who looked rather amused "Sorry Yusuke," she says.

"It's bad enough I have to fall down on those random holes thanks a lot Botan," I flatly replied.

"I said I was sorry," Botan pouted at this "You don't hate me do you Yusuke,"

I gave a frustrated sigh "No...I don't hate you Botan just next time a heads up would be nice," I gave a strain smile which Botan face fell noticing my expression as she nodded at this "I just don't understand why we have to do this at all," I explained with a scowl.

"Who cares at least I get to see my beautiful Yukina...I'm coming my Yukina...Kuwabara is cominggggg my love," Kuwabara announced with a lovey dovey look running ahead of us seeing the temple in a distance away where I could've sworn, I heard Hiei growled but, Kurama held him back not wanting him to hurt Kuwabara. They always seem very close as if they're brothers. I supposed in a way Kuwabara is like my brother too since we did grow up together.

[back in Inuyasha-feudal era where Kagome, Sango and Miroku with Shippo and Kiara were waiting for Inuyasha chatting away so they can accompany Kagome into her time (Tokyo, Japan in the future) that neither of them noticed that someone was keeping watching towards our current Miko priestess (*cough* I wonder who could it be *cough*) and no ...it's not Nakaru it's someone form Kagome's childhood past...but, let's see how the first 5 chapters will work out hmm]...

[back in Feudal Era in the past]...

Sango's P.O.V.

"That was quick Kagome-chan and where's Inuyasha?" I asked my best friend Kagome who managed to meet up with us.

"He wanted to talk to Kaede," Kagome told me.

"About what?"

"Not sure he said it was important so I didn't ...meddle into it,"

"Ah...so we're waiting for Inuyasha then,"

"Yes, we are,"

"So tell me about Tokyo, Japan Kagome-chan what it's like there?"

"Oh there's so many things Sango-chan we can go shopping I can't wait and show you guys around," Kagome squealed excitedly then held Shippo onto her arms "And show Shippo around the toy shop. My mom gave me money so we can have a lot of shopping to do,"

"Money?"

"Yes, this is the money where I come from has," Kagome explained grabbing her wallet and pulled some money.

"What is that mama?" Shippo curiously asked.

"This is money Shippo you can use this when we go to my time," Kagome explained gently.

Shippo looked at it in awe "That's so cool. When is Inuyasha coming I want to go already," he pouted.

"I'm right here," a familiar voice causing us to turn to see Inuyasha.

"That took a while...?" Kagome curiously turned to Inuyasha "What were you talking with Kaede about?" she asked.

"Not much just stuff,"

"What kind of stuff?"

"Nothing for you to worry about kid,"

Shippo squinted his eyes "You're not gonna leave us are you Inuyasha?" he asked.

"No I'm not going to leave you guys,"

"Good...can we go now please?"

"Yes, we can go now Shippo,

"So how exactly is this going to work Kagome-chan?" I asked my best friend Kagome. It didn't take long for Kagome to meet up with us but, Inuyasha took his sweet time apparently he was talking to Kaede about something not sure what but, whatever it was must be important.

We all looked at the well inside as Kagome paused for a moment staring at the Shikon No Tama jewel which was half of the jewel completed ...as she bit her bottom lip nervously which I could've sworn I saw Inuyasha shivered by this which made me curious but, didn't think about it.

"Well that's the thing Sango-chan I never tried it before...but, I figured from what Kaede-sama told me she said that all you guys have to do is go with me with the Shikon no Tama jewel since it's the only way for us to get into my time to begin with and we should be in my time by the well inside the temple shack. We've been working on it for awhile now but, it should be working now so it's not just Inuyasha who can go through the well but, you guys can come thru too," she explained as she carried her backpack but, unfortunately Inuyasha grabbed it before she can.

"I go it Kags," Inuyasha offered.

Kagome blinked her eyes owlish "I can carry it Inuyasha it's not heavy,"

"I know it's not but, it would be easier for me to carry it since we can't have you hurt your back," Inuyasha explained.

We blinked our eyes owlish not seeing Inuyasha so ...smart no that's not the word more ...caring towards Kagome it was kind of weird but, I'm not going to say or meddle into it unless I have too.

Kagome blinked her eyes owlish with a small smile "Thanks Inuyasha...I appreciate that," she murmured.

"So mama does that mean that we can actually go with you instead of just Inuyasha," Shippo asked curiously sitting on her shoulder where she smiled at her adopted son which she nodded.
