Chapter: One
Captain's Log: Stardate 4589.4: We have detected an old federation distress signal in a planetary system, so we have altered our course to investigate. Hopefully, whoever is down there is still alive, we are hopeful because it would mean that we weren't the first ones to get stranded in the Delta Quadrant.
Captain Janeway was in her chair on the bridge with a data pad going over crew evaluations, while drinking a cup of coffee. It has been almost 7 months since they got stranded in the Delta Quadrant, Janeway just hopes that somehow along the way, she would find a shortcut home. But right now, they were on their way to investigate an old federation distress signal.
She was brought out of her thoughts when Ensign Kim's voice, "Captain, we are in rage of the Class-M planet." he said as Janeway put down the data padd and looked up as he stood up. "On Screen." she ordered. A second later, a purple planet with blue and green swirls appeared on the screen. "Lifesigns?" she asked, with a little bit of hope in her voice.
"I'm detecting one lifesign on the planet's surface, but can't get a good reading." He replied as Janeway nodded. "We;ll send an away team and I'll be on it, I want to personally meet this lifesign." she said as he started making her way to the turbo lift, "Mr. Paris, Tuvok, and Chekotay with me." she commanded as he approached the lift. "Captain, as your chief of security I have to impose on you going to the planet's surface. It may be dangerous." he advised as Janeway nodded. "Your concern is noted Mr. Tuvok." she said as she stepped into the lift with the rest of the away team.
Planet Surface
When the Captain along with the away team beamed down to the surface, they immediately went for their phasers and tricorders as they scanned the area. "This way." Janeway said, pointing in the direction ahead of them as they walked, checking their surroundings for any hostile life signs.
Suddenly they were ambushed as unknown aliens attacked them. One of them knocks the Captain down as she punches them away from her before getting up and grabbing her phaser, firing a shot at the aliens who deflected the shot by dodge and attacked again.
Tuvok and Paris weren't having any luck themselves as they struggled with the aliens. Suddenly they heard a battle cry as the away team and the creatures looked up to see a hooded figure holding a shield and sword and ran at impossible speed, like a blur. The figure used her shield to hit the alien sending it flying before using her sword and killing one of the aliens before kicking one of the aliens off Tuvok and grabbing the other alien on Paris by the neck and tossing it to the side.
She turned to see all the aliens coming at her as she dropped her weapons before raising her arms and clashed them together that sent out a shockwave that sent the aliens flying back as the away team watched in awe. The figure straightened up and turned to see the downed Captain and reached her hand out towards the woman.
Janeway was stunned as she watched this mysterious person take out the aliens that were attacking them and then seeing a shockwave from the person's bracelets. She was brought out of her thoughts when a hand was shown in front of her. She saw that it belonged to the person and grabbed the offered hand pulling her up.
"Thank You." She said as she went to check on her team who stood up as they also turned to see the stranger. This must be the lifesign they detected. It would also appear that this woman was wearing some kind of armor under the long black cloak. Captain Janeway walked towards the person, "Hello, I'm Captain Janeway of the Federation Starship Voyager." She said, just then the woman tensed. "Starfleet?" Replied the woman with an accent as Janeway was stunned once again looking at her team who had a look of shock before looking back towards the stranger. How did this woman know Starfleet? She thought to herself.
"How did you know of Starfleet?" She asked stunned as the woman took a deep breath before pulling down her hood as Janeway gasped in shock as she recognized the woman. "Ambassador Prince?" She asked, looking at the woman who was declared dead by Starfleet more than 70 years ago. She didn't need to look behind her to see that her team was shocked as well.
"Hello Captain. I guess we have a lot to discuss." She said as Janeway nodded. "Yes. I suppose we do. How are you here? What happened?" She asked, eagerly wanting answers.
But Diana held up her hand, "Please Captain, I will explain everything. But first we must leave before the shadow phantoms return." she said as Janeway nodded and slapped her comm badge.
"Janeway to Voyager. Prepare to beam five people aboard." She stated. "Aye Captain." A voice replied from the badge. Diana's eyes widened a bit as she looked at the strange badge on the Captain's chest. "Is that….a communicator?" She asked in awe as Janeway smiled and looked at her badge before looking back at the Ambassador.
"Yes it is." She said, Diana held out her hand, "May I?" She asked as Janeway nodded and reached up as she took off her comm badge and handed it to Diana who carefully took it and looked it over.
Janeway looked at her team and saw amused looks on their faces, they had heard a lot about the Ambassador during their studies at the Academy. They know all about her…true nature. About the Amazons, Zeus, everything. Just the thought of meeting face-to-face with a literal Goddess, made Janeway excited because throughout the centuries it was believed that all of the Gods were dead.
But not Diana who Is the daughter of the Greek God Zeus and Hippolyta. She turned back and watched as Diana looked over the device with awe and curiosity. Just then it occurred to her.
The Ambassador must've been stranded on this planet for a very long, long time. Her heart aches at the thought. Maybe it was best if they took things slow on introducing Diana to the 24th Century.
"Ambassador, would you like to see our ship?" Janeway asked as Diana looked up at the Captain. "Of course." She said handing back the device as Janeway placed it back on her chest and slapped it. "Janeway to Voyager. Energize." She said as the five materialized from the surface.
Starship Voyager
When they rematerialized onto the transporter pad, Diana looked around in awe as she stepped down slowly. "By the Gods." She whispered as she took in her surroundings. Janeway held out her hand, "Ambassador, please come with me. I will show you to our conference room." She said as Diana snapped back to reality.
"I am sorry Captain. It's just been a long time since I was aboard a ship." She said as Janeway nodded, she can't imagine how Diana feels at the moment. "It will be okay, Ambassador. Trust me!" She said as Diana nodded and followed the Captain out of the transporter room.
—
While walking through the corridors of the ship, Diana noticed everyone she passed looked at her and began whispering and some gasps as they saw her. She was really confused as to why everyone was staring at her. "Captain, if I may, why is everyone staring at me?" She asked as Janeway smiled.
"We've learned everything about you in the Academy, we know that you don't age. You are a huge part of our history, you're literally a living walking history of Ancient Earth." She replied as Diana nodded.
"I see." She replied as they found the turbo lift. "Bridge." Janeway called out as the lift started moving, startling the Ambassador.
"It's a tubo lift. You just tell the computer where you wanna go." Janeway said as Diana nodded, "I know it's gonna be a lot to take in. But we'll take it slow, give you time to adapt to the 24th Century." She said stunning the woman.
"24th Century?" Diana asked as Janeway nodded. "Yes. Ambassador, you were declared dead for over 75 years by Starfleet." She gently told the woman who looked at her in shock. "Impossible." She whispered as Janeway smiled sadly and shook her head.
"I'm afraid it is. But I'll be here to help you get through this." She said encouragingly as Diana nodded. "Thank You Captain."
When the lift doors opened they stepped out and Diana stopped in her tracks, stunned as she took in her surroundings. She looked around the bridge. "Where are we?" She asked the Captain who was waiting on the Ambassador.
"This is the bridge. If you like, I can give you the full tour of the ship." She offered as Diana nodded and followed the Captain to a set of doors off to the right of the bridge.
Conference Room
All of the senior officers were all in the conference room awaiting the arrival of the Captain and their guest. Kim sighed, "Does anyone know who the guest is that tue Captain is bringing?" He asked as Tom and Chekotay looked at each other. Chekotay sighed, "Let's just say that it's someone we learned about in the Academy." He said. But before anything else could be said, the doors opened as their Captain walked in and behind her walked in….Ambassador Prince?
The whole crew except for Tom, Chekotay, and Tuvok all gasps in shock. "Impossible." Torres said as they all looked in awe and stunned silence at the presumed dead Ambassador. "Everyone, May I present to you Ambassador Prince." Janeway said as she sat in her chair at the end of the table.
"Please sit Ambassador. We have a lot to catch up on." She said as Diana nodded as she took off her cloak, leaving her in her armor and went to sit down in the chair to the Captain's left.
Once Diana was comfortable, Captain Janeway started off the meeting, "Ambassador, if you don't mind me asking. How did you get stranded on the planet all the way out in the Delta Quadrant." The Captain asked.
That was when Diana was stunned because the last time she checked she was still in the Alpha Quadrant. "What?" She whispered. "No, that's not possible. We're in the Alpha Quadrant." She said as the crew all looked at each other.
Janeway sighed and placed her hand on top of the Ambassador's, "I know how hard it is to believe. But it's true. We've been in the Delta Quadrant for almost a year and we're trying to get back home which is about 70,000 light years away." She told the woman.
Diana shook her head and stood up as she walked towards the window and stood there looking out, "How is that possible?" She whispered to herself but was heard by the crew.
"What do you remember? Maybe it will help if you tell us." Chekotay offered as Diana sighed and turned to look at the crew. "I was on my way to negotiate a peace treaty between Starfleet and an alien species. I had a skilled pilot and my aid with me as she wanted to get experience of being an officer." She said with a sad smile.
"Her name was Sarah, she was fresh out of the Academy and I chose her as I saw a little of myself in her. So eager to prove herself in a world where some people won't believe you would make it." She said as she sighed and sat back down.
"We were in the Gamma Quadrant almost to our destination, but then a wormhole appeared out of nowhere and we were sucked in. When we woke up, we saw that we had crashed and landed on this planet." She said motioning towards the planet outside the window.
"My aid she…she survived but our pilot did not. Sarah was badly injured, I only managed to keep her alive for a week until….." Diana sniffed as she felt water in her eyes, "The next thing I knew, I was alone on a planet I did not recognize, I tried to send a communication but received no answer. I thanked the Gods that I could activate the distress signal, praying that I would be heard." She explained as the crew sat there stunned, some felt sorry, as for Janeway she felt her heart.
"So you've spent almost 75 years alone?" Janeway gently asked as Diana nodded. "Yes! It's been so long since I've been around…..others. I'm afraid that it's gonna take time for me to get used to being around people again." She said,

Janeway nodded in understanding, "Of course. Take all the time you need. I'm sorry to hear about Sarah." She said as Diana smiled. "Me too."
