Talking aloud to self

Entering the planet's atmosphere, the group lands in a desert like area of the planet. Once they've landed, they proceed to get out of their rockets. Goddard leaps from Jammy's rocket. He stands beside the rocket and lifts a small stair case out of his storage compartment. Jammy looks down and smiles at Goddard's thoughtfulness. She steps from the rocket onto the stair and walks down them until she safely on the ground. Goddard retracts the stairs back into his back. Before nudging Jammy's leg with his head. She pets Goddard in thanks. The rest of her friends jump from their rockets and come to stand by her. Deciding to get a better look of the planet, they all walk up a rock formation.

Berty: Whoa. What is that? (Berty asks in awe.)

In the distance the kids can see the advanced alien colonization. Jammy turns to her friends with a plan in mind.

Jammy: Alright guys, we need to sneak our way into the city. (The group nods their heads in understanding.) Goddard, scan the city for place of best entry.

Goddard goes to the edge of the rock formation to achieve maximum coverage. He raises a satellite from his collecting the data. Goddard lifts his chest panel showing an entry way in a nearby storm drain tunnel.

Sydney: Jammy is that what I think it is? (Sydney points to the spot on Goddard's virtual map.)

Jammy: Yes it is Sydney. We better get going. Follow me!

The group looks through the storm drain gutter, watching the aliens. They hear a rocket that comes in low looking for a place to dock. In the corner of their eyes they notice flashing lights. They look to see several flying egg-like transportation vehicles. One alien has 'come out' of his egg and two cops are writing him up.

Jammy: Wow. (Jammy looks to Goddard, admiration evident in her voice.) They've adapted beyond the need for mere conventional bodies. (She looks back out the drain. Goddard follows her gaze.) They must be an advanced species thousands of years ahead of us.

Sheena and Carla both have their eyes wide, and jaws dropped in disbelief. Sheena forms an idea and leans over to whispering in Carla's and Jammy's ears. Carla has a twinkle in her eye as she holds back her laughter. Jammy rolls her eyes while shaking her head at her friends antics. Sheena decides to prank Sydney and Berty with a joke.

Sheena: Wow. When I sneeze, it looks like an advanced species, too. (Sheena turns to Sydney and Berty.)

The two boys look to each other in disgust. Sheena smirks knowing that her plan worked.)

Sydney & Berty: Ewww!

Jammy silently chuckles with her best friends at the boys reactions. Goddard then sees something and nudges Jammy, barking to get her full attention. Goddard's head cavity opens up and a hand points in the direction of a giant egg citadel. Jammy's eyes narrow at the building in understanding.

Jammy: OK, they're this way.

In a docking hanger he parents of Retroville are seen wearing strange helmets and walking in a robotic fashion into the building. They go in a single file line, as they line up inside.

Ooblar: Right this way, sire. (Ooblar instructs as he guides King Goobot through the crowd of adult humans.)

King Goobot: Ooblar, these humans look so scrawny. Hardly very appetizing. Are you sure they're yummy? (King Goobot questions with his hands on 'hips' and doubt in his voice.)

Ooblar: I assure you, my slimy sovereign. Poultra will be quite pleased. Humans are mostly water with a crunchy, bony center. Think nuts and chews. (Ooblar proclaims in a confident tone.)

The two aliens leave the room just as the scouting party arrives. They hide behind a pillar and look at the sight before them. Their parents stand in formation like an army platoon awaiting orders from their commanding officer.

Jammy: There they are. (She says while walking a bit closer to the blank faced adults.)

Carla: What are they doing? (Carla whispers in confusion.)

Sydney: What are those things on their heads? (Sydney questions trying to figure out what was on their parents heads.)

Turning to her friends she points to her head.

Jammy: It looks like a mind-control device. (She turns back to the sea of parents and spots her mom and dad. Jammy cups her hands and whisper yells to them.) Mama. Daddy. Daddy! (Hugh yawns as he 'wakes up' from his petrified like state upon hearing his daughter call out to him.) It's me. Jammy. Over here. (Hugh turns towards Jammy's direction, doing several sporadic hand movements. He walks up to her.)

Hugh: Jam, Jam, Jam, Jammy's, Jamie, Jamie, Jam. Big, fiery, flying Jammy. (Hugh kneels down to her level glad to see his daughter. He rubs his eyes tired from his trance.) Hi, Jammy. (Jammy has a huge smile splattered across her face. For the first time in days she's seeing and hearing her daddy. She missed him so and being with him right now made her want to explode in such utter joy.) Some dream, huh? Attack of the big egg people. I think I've seen this one. (He says makes a thinking face while looking around.)

Jammy: No, Daddy. (She points to her head) You're wearing a mind-control device. Take yours off. Hurry! Before they catch us! (Jammy pleads her dad.)

Trying to remove the device, Hugh accidently pulls a level. He goes ridged with a blank stare. The device begins to beep periodically.

Jammy: Daddy? (Jammy says with concern written across her face.)

Hugh goes into a robotic guard mode where he points towards Jammy and the others.

Hugh: Intruder alert! Intruder alert!

Jammy: Daddy, no, no, no. Shh. Please, Daddy! You were so close! Fight it! (Jammy begs as she is close to tears.)

Hugh begins quacking as an alarm signal.

Sheena: Jammy, your dad's like a mind-control duck man. (Sheena calls over to Jammy.)

Jammy looks around and knows they have to leave now and try again later. Rubbing her face in dismay she shouts to her friends.

Jammy: Let's get outta here.

They all start to run towards the exit. Goddard beside Jammy as she pauses to take final look back at her dad. Sydney turns back to see that Jammy has stopped running. He goes to her and grabs her hand, carefully dragging her away.

Sydney: Let's go.

Hugh: Come back. Join us, Jammy. Join us. (Hugh calls to his daughter tauntingly.)

Right as they make it to the door to leave it slams close. They make to go for another exit when three guards surround them. The guards lead them to a giant egg shaped door. It opens revealing a throne room. The kids walk in slowly. King Goobot sees the children enter his domain and scoffs.

King Goobot: Well, well, if it isn't the littlest rescue party. How cute. Hello, itty-bitty humans. (He says in a patronizing tone.)

Sydney moves forward a little pointing at King Goobot.

Sydney: You let us go, (A guard moves his spear toward Sydney, keeping him back.) you big ball of phlegm. (Sydney angrily shouts at the king.)

Ooblar floats forward a little in a defensive state.

Ooblar: That's no way to talk to the king. He is the royal phlegm.

King Goobot: Ooblar. (King Goobot says threateningly.)

Ooblar: Sorry, sire. (He bows in submission and spoke remorsefully.)

Jammy: I think it's only fair to warn you that if you don't release us within hours, an army of trained combat specialists is poised to destroy your entire planet. (Jammy arrogantly said.)

King Goobot: Oh, really? (He states in mock concern.)

Jammy: Really. (She say in an egotistical tone believing to be a step ahead of him.)

King Goobot: Oh, my. Our entire planet. Whatever shall we do? (King Goobot 'shakes' in fear.) Do you mean this army of trained combat specialists? (He gestures to another door. The door opens and the rest of the kids come in with Nick at the front.)

Jammy and her friends look on flabbergasted. Concern etched upon their faces. Not clicking at first Sheena greets them. Jammy gasps seeing Nick struggle.

Sheena: Hey, it's Nick. Hola, Nick. (Sheena then realizes that the rest of the kids had been captured.) Oh, man...

Jammy: Nick!

A guard has a grip on Nicks upper arm before Nick shrugs him off. He then points to the guard who was holding him.

Nick: Get your grubs off me, egghead.

The second guard turns on his spear and electrocutes Nick. It wasn't enough to kill or leave a mark, but it was enough to hurt him.

King Goobot: Don't look so surprised. We're an advanced alien race. What did you expect? (He laughs menacingly at the children below.)

Berty asks the question that has been on everyone's mind.

Berty: What do you want with our parents?

King Goobot: It's not what I want. It's what Poultra wants.

Sydney: Who's Poultra? (Sydney asks confused.)

King Goobot: Poultra is our people's pet. The mightiest, most ferocious creature in all... I get tired of answering this. Roll tape. (King Goobot says wearily.)

A big screen appears against the wall across from the king's throne. It is showing the news of Yokus. A male and female reporter sit at the desk.

Male Yokian Reporter: Hello and welcome to our special edition of "Poultra: Pet of Wrath". Brought to you by Goo...

King Goobot fast-forwards the tape, not in the mood to hear commercials.

King Goobot: Commercials. Hate them.

Female Yokian Reporter: Welcome back. If you're watching this, chances are your friends and/or relatives are about to be sacrificed to the Mighty Poultra, which is a great honor indeed.

Male Yokian Reporter: And very painful.

The two reporters share a laugh.

Female Yokian Reporter: And this year's human sacrifices feature something very special: Actual humans.

Male Yokian Reporter: And it's all thanks to Jammy Neutron.

Within the reporting station a screen turns on. The image that appears is the recording Jammy had set into space a week ago. The video starts playing her recording. In the recording Jammy does a Spock sign in peace.

Jammy recording: Greetings from planet Earth. I'm Jammy Neutron and you're an alien life form.

Sydney and Berty look at Jammy scathingly. Goddard flattens his ears in shame. Sheena keeps looking at the screen enthralled by it. Carla turns to Jammy with a look that says, 'Oh no, that's what we sent into space'. Jammy has the decency to look sheepish about her recording.

King Goobot: You know, without the coordinates you gave us, we never would have found your puny little planet. (Jammy looks to the ground disheartened knowing that this was all her fault.) For such a tiny earthling, you've been a very big help, (Goobot pinches her cheek in a childish manner. Sydney goes rigid clenching and unclenching his fist at the sight. He may be mad at Jammy, but no alien got to touch her. None!) Jammy Neutron. (Sydney gets ready to go attack the alien king but Goddard beats him to it. Goddard comes closer and growls at King Goobot threateningly. He's stating that he will attack if he doesn't let her go. Jammy manages to push off King Goobot's hand beforehand.) Guards, throw these minuscule vermin into the dungeon until they're of worthier size, (Jammy is still saddened by her newfound knowledge. Her will to fight fades as she looks like a kicked puppy. The kids begin to be ushered out of the room by the guards.) and give Ms. Neutron the presidential suite. (Jammy's eyes harden at the comment.)

Jammy: What?

Jammy turns back about to chew into him when a guard come up behind her and zaps her. She exclaims in pain causing Sydney to look back at her. He sees red when he catches sight of Jammy being shocked. Goddard barks at hearing his master shout in pain and stands protectively in front of Jammy. King Goobot comes over and picks up Goddard, inspecting him.

King Goobot: Isn't this a funny-wunny little toy? (King Goobot wags his finger in front of Goddard. Goddard having enough of the Yokians messing with his master does what any sensible dog would. He bites onto King Goobot's arm, keeping a firm hold on it. King Goobot screams in pain.) Get it off me! Get it off!

Jammy stands there smirking at King Goobot. She was very pleased by Goddards actions.

Jammy: Ha, that'll teach you to mess with me. Goddard is my fierce protector, and he won't stand for it.

King Goobot eventually manages to pry Goddard off of his arm. Goddard barks at him, happy that he cause the king so much pain.

King Goobot: Take this infernal thing to the lab and have it torn apart. (He says holding Goddard out to Ooblar. Ooblar come up and takes Goddard from him.)

Ooblar: Yes, great saliva-armed one.

Ooblar floats of with Goddard to dismantle him. Jammy tries to run after Goddard and save him. The guard holds her back pushing her the other way with the rest of the kids.

Guard: Hold it. Move along.

Jammy: No! Please, not Goddard! Don't hurt him! (Jammy begs the guard as he still prevents her from passing. As Goddard starts to fade from her vision she tries once more, reaching for her dog.) Goddard!

She screams heartbroken as tears begin to fall. Goddard barks to Jammy trying to comfort her. He whimpers quietly as he is further separated from Jammy. The door shuts behind Ooblar and Goddard with a resounding slam.
