A camp fire burns softly in front of the new awkward family of two non romantic men and their two kids. Rick holds Judith close while Shane wraps his arm around Carl's back pulling him into his side. Carl sits in between the two men snuggling close to Shane. Rick and Shane feel slightly taken back by they're kids but both are secretly happy about the arrangement.

"Disoriented. I guess that comes closest. Disoriented, fear, confusion all of those things but..." Rick starts.

"Disoriented comes closest. It was like being ripped out of one life and into the life of another..." Daisy adds looking upon the group. Shame shifts uncomfortable feeling guilty about leaving Rick in the hospital.

"Papa said you died." Carl whispers from the arms of Shane.

"He had every right to believe that. And don't you ever question it."

"When things started getting bad they told me that they were gonna move you. But it never happened." Shane explains, "I went to get you but I couldn't hear a heart beat. I pushed the gurney in front the door just in case I was wrong. I honestly didn't even think of Daisy being in the room with you."

"Thank you, Shane, for everything. I'm not surprised about the hospital by the looks of it, it got over run."

"Yeah, looks don't deceive, I barley got them out." Shane nods to the two kids in their arms.

"Yeah, papa handed me his hand gun and told me to shoot anyone besides you or him." Carl yawns.

"I taught to shoot when we got here, I hope that's okay." Shane whispers looking into his best friends green eyes.

"Yeah, he need to know how to protect himself." Rick nods looking down at the holster around his sons waist.

"He's a mighty good shot too." Shane nods with a smirk.

"Oh really?" Rick asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I get it from my dads." Carl smiles making the two men laugh.

Shane looks over at Daisy who holds her daughter close next to Merle. "You should have seen how scared Daryl was of loosing you and the baby. He wouldn't leave your side for a second."

"Yeah he wouldn't leave your side for day when you were first admitted. It took me slapping 'em to know some sense into 'em." Merle chuckles.

"Sounds like him." Daisy smiles resting a hand on her belly.

"Are you still?" Andrea asks fearfully.

"Pregnant? Yes, though the thought terrifies me. I don't know what we're going to do with the world like this." Daisy exclaims kissing her daughters head.

"Hey, we'll help you through it." Amy smiles as her and Andrea pay her on the leg.

Shane runs a hand through Carls hair as he sleeps on his shoulder. He looks over to see Judith snuggled up into Rick's chest fast asleep. "Well I think it's time we get theses kids to bed." Shane nods picking Carl up as Rick follows with Judith. The enter the tent that Shane had been sharing with the two kids plus Dolly sometimes.

"Sorry you'll have to share the bed with me..." Shane mumbles setting Carl and Judith down in the bed across from his.

"That's fine, takes me back to elementary school." Rick chuckles.

The next morning Shane wakes up with Rick in his arms. Rick is sound asleep while the kids are already up as Shane does not see them in bed. Shane slowly tries to get up with out waking the man beside him but it's to no avail. "Shane..." Rick croaks sleepily.

"Sorry, Rick. Didn't meant I wake you." Shane admits sitting up in the bed as Rick rubs his eyes. Shane can't help but think that Rick looks unbelievably cute in the mornings. He shakes that thought from his mind getting up and grabbing a clean pair of clothes for himself and for Rick. Rick takes the clothes and immediately starts to change not even caring that Shane is still in there with him. Shane blushes but turns the other way to change.

Together they leave the tent to see the kids in playing tag in the distance. They walk over to Daisy and Carol who are talking about how to further the children's education. Carol smiles handing Rick a now clean police uniform.

"Thank you, Miss..."

"Carol, it's nice to meet Shane's husband." Carol smiles.

"Oh I'm not-we're not..." Rick stammers out.

Shane rubs the back of his neck, "It's hard to explain."

Carol covers her mouth, "I'm sorry for assuming."

"It's okay, I'm sure the entire camp thinks that with our kids calling the other Papa." Shane sighs just as the kids start to scream.

"Baby!" Carol and Daisy yell running over to their kids. Daisy grabs Dolly and Judith while the men run with weapons only to stop when they see Carl with his gun pointed at the walker before he fires the weapon killing the beast immediately. Ricks eyes are wide at his son but Shane only walks up to Carl who is putting his gun back into his holster.

"Good job, Carl." Shane smiles giving the boy a high five. Rick grins picking the boys up and kissing his head.

"Dad! It's not that big of a deal." The boy whines as Daisy and Daryl kiss passionately in the back ground as they're reunited.

"Daddy that's gross." Dolly whines from behind them.

"Oh yeah?" Daryl asks turning to his baby girl.

"Yeah! It's yucky." Dolly exclaims.

Daryl only picks the little girl up giving her a big smooch on the check in response. "Eee! Daddy! Bad! No kisses!"

Everyone laughs at the interactions before heading back to there business. Rick turns to Shane with a smile, "I almost forgot. Daisy and I have a few girly for everyone."

Daisy nods and they all head over to the van where they pull out two bags of medicine and two bags full of guns and amo from the police department. Shane whistles seeing the contents of the bags.

"That's pretty damn good."

"Yep, let's get theses passed out to everyone who knows how to properly fire." Rick states nodding towards the extra hand guns.
