When they get back to camp both joking and laughing acting as if they had done absolutely nothing in the lake. They look to see Ed causing troubles with the ladies and both frown at the sight. Shane storms over along with Rick with their hands on their holsters. "Is there a problem Ed?" Shane questions as he watches him shove Carol to the ground.

"Nothing that you should be concerned about pig!" He spits at the two officers. Shane glares down at him pulling him up punching him square in the nose.

"I've always wanted to do that." He smirks shaking off his fist.

Ed lunges at the two of them but Rick steps forward and punched the obese man in the abdomen. Ed reals back in pain coughing lightly. Shane kicks him back sending him down on his back. "Your done, Ed. I will not allow you to be in this camp any longer."

"Pack your shit, you leave now." Rick growls looking at all the bruises that litter Carol's skin.

"Come one bitch, we don't wanna be here anyway." Ed growls spiting blood into the ground. Carol takes a step towards Andrea and the other girls.

Shane gets in between Ed and Carol grabbing his weapon but doesn't aim it. "Come one step closer to any of theses woman and I'll shoot."

Ed growls but turns to leave and walks to his camp to pack his shit. Rick and Shane nod at the ladies before watching Ed intently. They were to make sure he left. Ed grabs a couple of bags and hopes into his truck. He starts it up but instead of backing up he drives forward intending to run over Rick and Shane. Both cops dive out of the way before shooting at the tires of the vehicle before Ed can run over anyone. The back two tires pop sending the truck out of control and into a tree impaling Ed in the chest with a tree branch.

"Everyone else alright!" Rick yells out. Everyone nods visibly and backs away from the crash living it all up to the two cops. They walk over to the scene and see that Ed is in fact dead. Shane sighs yelling for someone to bring him an axe so that he can chop the branch down enough for them to be able to get Ed out of the truck.

Three hours later after all the hard work from almost every man in camp, Ed and the truck is cleared out and a hole is dug for him. Ed is covered with an old sheet and placed down into the hole. No one cries not even his wife or daughter.

That night everyone eats fish and frog legs thanking Shane and the kids along with Amy and Andrea for dinner. Amy gets up to use the bathroom having to announce it to everyone thanks to her beloved sister. Rick leans more into Shane that night while Carl sits beside Rick and Judith rests in Shane's lap. They joke along with the Dixon's and everything is perfect until Amy comes back.

It was the crunching of bone that Shane hears fist the scream is second. Immediately his hand gun is pulled killing the walker that had took a hold of Amy. "Get together! Get together!" Rick yells huddling with his family as just about everyone from camp brought out their gun.

Shots were fired ever which way with Carl getting a few shots in too. Judith clung to her brothers back as he shot any walker that got near them. Shane and Rick stood behind Carl looking out for anything and anyone. The fight lasts only fifteen minutes but it feels like hours to the group as members drop like flies.

When the after math is done many members had passed but all the walkers had perished as well.

Death was everywhere. The camp survivors hurried to clear the dead bodies a dozen at a time but they was just so many. Everyone knew it was no longer safe. Andrea was the biggest issue when it came to moving all the dead bodies. She refused to leave the side of her deceased sister.

"She still won't move?" Rick questions looking over at Andrea who had been beside Amy's body the entire night. Dale, Shane, Daisy, Daryl, and Rick stood around trying to decide what to do.

"She won't even talk to us." Daisy admits, "She's been there all night."

"We have to deal with it." Shane states.

"I'll tell her how it is." Rick struts over to her only to revive a gun to the face. He quickly turns back around to the group.

"Y'all can't be serious. Let that girl hamstring us? The dead girls a time bomb." Daryl growls.

Rick nods, "What do you suggest?"

Daryl points to the girl, "Take the shot. Clean, through the brain from here. Hell, I could hit a turkey in between the eyes from this distance."

"For god sakes let her be." A woman exclaims from behind them before return to work.

Soon they find out that Jim has been bit during the attack. They stand around in a circle with Jim off to the side. "I say we put a pickax's through his head and the dead girls."

Shane narrows his eyes, "Is that what you'd want?"

Daryl smirks, "Yeah and I'd thank you while you did it. I've got to look after my family man."

"I get it man but we can't be outing axes through people heads." Shane sighs pinching the bridge of his nose.

Dale sighs, "I hate to say it...but maybe Daryl's right."

Rick shakes his head, "Jim's not a monster, Dale, or some rabid dog. He's sick, a sick man. If we start down that road where do we draw the line?"

"I'm not suggesting..." Dale starts but is interrupted once more.

"The lines pretty clear. Zero tolerance for walkers or them to be." He starts to walk towards Jim but is stopped by his wife, Daisy.

"Let's actually listen to Dale instead of assuming." She demands turning toward the old man.

"All I was suggesting was that we ask what Jim wants."

"We can do that." Rick nods as he and Shane walk over to Jim. Jim explains that he wishes to be left alone to die and be reunited with his family. With that the only question left was where to go.

The CDC was the answer.

The caravan arrives outside the compound. Surrounding the building are a lot of corpses, as well as swarms of flies. Rick's caravan approaches the CDC, where hundreds of bodies lay dead on the ground. The group quietly approaches the building.

Shane whispers holding his daughters hand in one and a gun in the other, "All right, everybody. Keep moving. Go on. Stay quiet. Let's go. Okay, keep moving. Stay together."

They reach the building which is locked and shuttered.

Shane says, "Keep it together. Come on."

Daisy, "We're almost there, baby."

Shane looks for a way in shaking his head, "Nothing?"

Shane pounds on door.

T-Dog shakes his head, "There's nobody here."

Rick confused, "Then why are these shutters down?"

Daryl:m stands at the back and yells out, "Walkers!"

Daryl shoots a few walkers in the head.

Daryl yells out, "You led us into a graveyard!"

Shane disagrees ,"We made a call."

Daryl furious, "It was the wrong damn call!"

Shane ready to punch him, lJust shut up. You hear? Shut up. Shut up!" He turns to his best friend, "Rick, this is a dead end."

Carol, "Where are we gonna go?"

Shane pleads holding his littles girls hand, "Do you hear me? No blame."

Daisy looks up at the stars, "She's right. We can't be here, this close to the city after dark."

Shane starts, "Fort Benning, Rick... Still an option."

"On what? No food, no fuel. That's 125 miles. I checked the map." Glenn explains.

Daisy shakes her head, "Forget Fort Benning. We need answers tonight, now."

Rick unsure and overwhelmed, "We'll think of e on, let's go. Let's get out of here. Let's go."

Rick starts to leave but catches sight of the security camera's movement.

Shane yells out, "All right, everybody back to the cars. Let's go. Move."

Rick grabs Shane's arm, "The camera... it moved."

Shane ignores him, "You imagined it."

Rick happily and full of spirit, "It moved. It moved."

Shane pleading once more, "Rick, it is dead, man. It's an automated device. It's gears, okay? They're just winding down. Now come on..Man, just listen to me. Look around this place. It's dead, okay? It's dead. You need to let it go, Rick."

Rick slams on the shutters, "I know you're in there. I know you can hear me." Shane tries to drag him away, with the help of Daryl and Carl.

Shane shouts, "Everybody get back to the cars now!"

Rick begging, "Please, we're desperate. Please help us. We have women, children, no food, hardly any gas left." Rick pounds on the door. The group is just about to leave when the door to the CDC opens, drowning the survivors in light.
