Black satin smooth flawless,
Studded diamonds randomly sewn.
Intrigues, pulls, a million yards,
Scattered across countless scars.

Sleep eluded him.
Yoh was puzzled, he usually had no problem falling asleep anywhere, anytime. But tonight… sighing he pulled himself out of the futon and stretched. His muscles were cramp from staying in the same position for too long, trying to make sleep claim that mind of his that was being unusually active.
He drew open the door to his room and took a step into the deserted corridor. Shutting the door quietly behind him, Yoh decided to take a little walk. Maybe then he'll be able to find peace and slumber. As he walked down the deserted corridor, he failed to notice that a door of another's room was slightly ajar and without its usual occupant.
The moon was high and bright in the sky and the stars were brilliantly clear against the velvet blue-black sky. It was a beautiful night, perfect for star gazing.
Yoh soundlessly made his way up a grassy hill, eyes half lidded as he savored the feel of a pleasantly cool breeze that snaked around him. The air was crisp and void of humidity, after all, it WAS late October.
Upon reaching the top after a refreshing short hike, the boy quietly turned his eyes up towards the heaven without a second gaze at his surroundings. The stars winked at him as if to tell him a secret. Suddenly he felt the presence of another human and he abruptly lowered his gaze.
The sight of one Kyoama Anna came into view. Her hair was loosely bounded by the bandana that she always wore and gave off a soft sheen while moon light framed the delicate features of her face. She turned to meet the gaze of the boy and Yoh pondered about those eyes of her's. Cold but not stone, shielding her thoughts and feelings, those eyes that gave the owner a look that she's far too young to wear. One could even see the slight lines of stress and weariness.
But then, even the coldest, hardest, ice melts someday…………….someday.
A word escaped his lips before he could even think about shoving them back deep into his throat.
"Beautiful"
