More Than Friends

A/N: The rating is PG but there isn't anything bad in it. It just kind of goes into how they are going out and stuff, so I guess it wouldn't be good for really little kids to read.
The Great Hall was alive with shouts and screams as everyone settled down for dinner. It was two weeks before Valentine's Day at Hogwarts, and Romance was in the air thicker than a quilt.
Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter had finally gotten together. Harry held Ginny's hand affectionately as Dumbledore stood up to make a speech. The hall was quiet, and Dumbledore cleared his throat.
"All students," He announced in a raspy voice, "are expected to take part in a Valentine's Day ball." Ginny heard a bunch of students groan, but she was excited. This was her chance to finally ask Harry to something! Ginny looked meaningfully at Harry, but he was listening intently to Dumbledore.
Suddenly, all the students began to leave. Harry dashed out of the Great Hall before Ginny could catch him.
"Harry," she cried. "Wait!"
"Harry," a cold voice mimicked behind her, "wait!" Ginny whirled around to see who else but Draco Malfoy.
"What do you want?" Ginny demanded sullenly. Malfoy raised his eyebrows.
"Weasley, what do you think I want?" Ginny noticed that Crabbe and Goyle were absent from Malfoy's side, probably asking the thickest girls at Hogwarts out.
Ginny shrugged and looked Malfoy up and down. He was actually quite handsome.
"What am I thinking?" She asked herself silently. "Malfoy and handsome shouldn't be used in the same PARAGRAPH!"
Malfoy raised his eyebrows. "Look, Weasley, I don't have time for this-"
"Then go," said Ginny in a no-cares tone. Malfoy continued on, slightly louder.
"-Will you go to the ball with me?" Ginny looked around hoping no one else had heard. Confirming that no one had, she giggled and thrust herself into tDraco's arms, leaning on his warm body.
"No here!" Draco hissed. "I have a Slytherin reputation to uphold!" Ginny shrugged and skipped off to the common room.
"Yes," she cried happily over her shoulder, as if Draco hadn't gotten the message.
