Lucky shot up out of his bed. Beads off sweat rolled down his pale face. That wasn't the first dream he had of his girlfriend and daughter. Tears formed in his eyes, as he remembered when the doctor told him Summer had been a month pregnant with a baby girl. He shivered, although it was mid August. Summer was gone, no way she could ever come back. Her body was found, not like Brenda or anyone else. Summer was gone, and he had lost the women he loved. The first time he had, really, fallen in love after Elizabeth. Her smile still haunted his every movement, as did her stunning blue eyes, and her blonde curls.
"Oh Summer" he whispered "Why did you have to leave me?".
He got out of bed, and walked to the living room. The first thing he saw, was Summers picture sitting on his mantle. He ran his hand over her smiling face "I miss you, baby".
His eyes moved, to the recent wedding picture of his brother Nicholas and Emily. Their smiles looked happy, but he always saw a note of sadness in both their eyes. He smiled, and looked at the next frame. There smiled his little sister. Lulu, was the only thing in his life now that made him happy. She was so full of love that Lucky, just wanted her to stay the small innocent child forever. But she was growing up, and soon like every other woman in his life, that he had loved, she would be gone. Elizabeth, Sarah, His mother, & Summer.
He walked softly, to his room. Tears were spilling over his face, and he wanted it all to stop! He wanted the tears and all the pain to be gone.
"I wished, I wished, I wished I were dead!" he exclaimed finally punching the air.
"No you don`t" A sweet voice said.
He turned "Summer?" he asked softly "Is it you?".
Summer smiled "Of course".
Lucky ran and hugged, her close "How?" he asked.
"How what?" she laughed.
"How are you here?" he asked amazed.
"I`m not" she sighed.
Lucky pulled away "What do you mean your not?".
"Lucky, I`m still gone" Summer smiled "But I will always be in your heart".
Lucky watched as she placed her hand on his heart. Her smiled warmed his heart "We will see you soon" she whispered.
Lucky reached out and ran his hand threw Summer`s long glowing blonde curls "I will always love you".
"I know" she smiled "And I will always love you, Lucky. You're the only man I ever loved, and you changed my life".
"I wish it could be different" Lucky said, his voice shaking.
"I do , too" Summer smiled "But this is what is meant to be".
"If you say so" Lucky said, wrapping his trembling arms around Summer "Take care of our daughter".
"I will" Summer smiled "Laura is ours for always".
"Love you" Lucky whispered.
"Love you" Summer repeated.
And then she was gone. Lucky smiled to himself, and climbed into bed. He knew he would always see her in his dreams, but that no longer scared him. He loved her, and someday they would all be together again. Lucky, Summer, And there little girl Laura!
