Ender Wiggin, leader of Dragon Army, stood outside his gate to go
fight the hot-shot new Chimera Army. The Greek mythological fire-
breathing creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and
tail of a serpent.
James Smith was the commander of the Chimera Army and he was tied
with Ender in standings, as a commander and as an Army. He would prove
to extremely tough.
The gate dissolved and Ender floated through to face an enemy with
just as much skills as his army possesed. The epic battle began. The
battle that would prove who's was the better army. The battle,
effectively, that would decide the Earth's destiny.
There were new standings posted the next day and all of the
commanders rushed in and saw them. Some weren't surprised,
some were, some smiled, and the new commanders knew who
stood where.
"Good battle yesterday, Ender," James said as he sat
down. He started eating.
"Very good battle. It was amazing what happened to my
formations and my strategy. It just all fell apart," Ender
said.
"I know," James replied, "mine did, too."
Petra Arkanian sat down at the table and asked, "How'd ya do
it? How'd ya beat him?"
"I played it like a poker hand."
"Steel faced, and you read the oponent."
The board looked a little odd to Commander Smith that morning:
"Army(rank) vs. Army(rank)"
"Time. Battle Room #"
Phoenix(3) vs. Rat(4)
0800. Battle Room 3
Tiger(6) vs. Chimera(2)
1400. Battle Room 2
Rabbit(5) vs. Dragon(1)
0900. Battle Room 1
So, Ender had won. He was the winner, and he now had the confidence
to go to where he needed to go and beat who he needed to beat. To save
the world, it seemed, Ender had an epic battle in which he won to save
his pride and his respect.
