Dangerous Love By Illustrious Sorrow

A/N Hey all, this is another poem! And here I was thinking that it was going to be a one-time thing. Hope you like it. This poem is Kenshin trying to decide what to do about his love for Kaoru. He knows that she will be in danger if he stays with her, but he loves her and knows that she loves him and doesn't really want to leave.

By the way, sorry about the formatting, I can't get it to work properly. Don't know why. When I typed it, it was in normal format for a poem. Whatever, hope you like this poem.

Unworthy to see the light of day, Unworthy, to protect my love. Unworthy, what can I do? Unworthy, What can I say?

She says she loves me, But can I put her in such danger? She says she trusts me, But I am not always who I seem.

To many times, She has been attacked because of me, Do I love her? Should I leave her? Can I leave all up to destiny?

I could leave right now, The pain in my own heart makes not a difference, I could leave her, safe, right here, Make her be no part of me. But her heart, would it hurt, Would she be pained because of me?

If I stay, I can protect her, If I go, she may be hurt.

I do not want to hurt her, I want not to hurt myself, I will stay, What can I do? What can I say? I love her.
