Chapter 1- Broken Hearted
High school was over, and the students were back for their records. After Lexie got hers she went to the canteen to buy a drink. Then she caught a sight of her bestfriend. She ordered a drink and went to his place. "Hey!" she greeted Rukawa "Hey" Rukawa managed to force out a smile "What's up? I haven't seen you around. Where were you? Did ya already have your record?" she asked "Oh yeah I have them. I'm just hanging around. Ya know playing at the gym, ma-" "Kaede Rukawa" she cut him off "Is there something ya wanna tell me? You aren't yourself lately. Something wrong? By the way, where's Jen? she asked scanning the crowd. Rukawa's smile dropped. Lexie noticed it. Now she knew what's wrong with her bestfriend. "I'm sorry Kaed, I don't know that you and Jen..." "Oh it's ok" he smiled "Really. We realized that we don't truly love each other. Besides there are more plenty fish in the sea." Lexie knew him too well. She knew it was all an act. They've been bestfriends for years since Rukawa's family moved to Ireland, where Lexie lived. They met at the first day of Junior High School and clicked of instantly. Lexie sighed. Now she needed to cheer up her bestfriend. "Hey Kaed, remember that westlife concert this Saturday?" "Uhuh?" "I bought 2 tickets. I thought it would be more fun if we watch it together. "So?" "So?! Come on Rukawa. Do you think I'm gonna let ya mourn 'bout what happened? Geez Ruks! Ya have to move on! I know it's hard, but I'll help you and you have to come with me this Saturday night, ok?" "Sendoh, Fujima and Myata are coming to!" They are also close friends of theirs. "Oh ok. I'll come."
