In a forest,not too far from their home, a group of girls camped out. Their
names were, Mya, Cassie, Kori, Kelly, Reitsu and Saiko. They were sitting
around a camp fire, when Mya got a fabulous idea. "Since it's dark and
quite spooky in this forest, why don't we take turns telling freaky
stories?" she said. They all agreed to Mya's plan and chose her to go
first...

There lived a wife and a husband. They didn't get along quite well... when one day, things went too far...
The wife was cutting vegetables for dinner when her husband ordered "Give me your knife." She refused and he said again "Give me your knife!" She refused again. Then the husband got a longer knife and threatened "Give me your knife or I'll chop your legs off!!!" The woman knew that her husband would do so, but she still refused. The husband chopped her legs off... the wife was dead.
The husband buried his dead wife in the sand pit in the backyard. He then moved to another town, and was never seen there again. No one knew about the murder.
2 years later, a mother named Izumi and her son, Junpei, moved into the house that the husband and wife once lived in. Izumi was cutting meat for supper and Junpei was digging in the sand pit in the backyard. He was making a big hole when he heard click, click, slide. He got frightened and ran inside.
"Mommy, mommy! I heard a noise like this!!!" he said quickly. He made the click, click, slide noise. Izumi said that it was just his imagination and sent him back outside.
Junpei went back outside... but he heard it again! So he ran back inside.
"Mommy, mommy! I heard it again!" he said. "It's just your imagination, Junpei... now if you want supper, then I suggest you go back outside. And if you come back in, saying something about that click, click, slide noise, then you'll be sleeping in the shed!" she scolded.
Junpei ran back outside.... and he heard it again! He ran back inside, forgetting all about Izumi's threat.
"Mommy, mommy! I heard it again!" he said. "Junpei, you're sleeping in the shed!" she yelled.
They had supper and Junpei got ready for bed. He set up a cot in the shed and lay down. 'I bet mommy was right,' he thought 'it is just my imagination.'
He was almost asleep, when he heard click, click, slide. He was wide awake now. He was really scared now, for the sound was getting louder and closer. The mother heard click, click, slide this time. She realized that it wasn't just her son's imagination and that he was in danger. She got out of her bed and listened to where the sound was going. It was in the kitchen, she heard two knives being picked up, and the sound headed for her son. She rushed downstairs and heard that the sound was going quicker!
Meanwhile, the son was frightened and curled up in a ball. Click, click, slide, click, click, slide, click, click, slide. He now heard that it was at the shed door. The door creaked open... and there was a young woman that had no legs and two knives in her hands.
The mother finally got to the shack but saw that her son wasn't there. She walked outside of the shack and went to the sand pit, where the trail or blood lead. She was horrified to see her poor son dead.
Mya ended the story. Then, Kori asked "But, what who was the woman?" "That woman was the wife. That is why she had no legs. She thought that her cruel husband got married to Kaoru and had a son, so she wanted revenge on him." They chose Kori to go next...
