Disclaimer- I own nothing. I know nobody in this story, sadly. I have never
met Stacy Keibler, or anybody in this story, for that matter.
~Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.~
The wind blew Juno's hair out of her face, causing the black strands to flow through the wind. Her usually bright green eyes were wet. She tried to shut the voices out of her head, but to no avail. They just kept coming back.
~ "We'll be best friends forever Juno. Best friends."~
The tears slid down Juno's pretty face. But they weren't now were they? Her best friend since childhood, Stacy Keibler, was now dead. She and Stacy had been inseperable. They had done everything together, from parties, to high school, to graduation. Now she was at Stacy's funeral. It wasn't right.
She tugged at the end of her black dress. Her eyes took in all the darkness around her. Stacy wouldn't have wanted all this. Stacy was bright and chirpy, not dark and gloomy. Juno held back a sob as she realized she was never going to see Stacy smile ever again.
~ Juno, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. I'll call you later, okay? ~
That call never came.
As the funeral ended, everyone went back to their vehicles. Juno climbed into her car. It was a wonder she made it back to the hotel. The tears made it hard to see.
Juno sat on the couch in the hotel lobby. The events from a week ago played in her mind.
~Hello? Yes, this is she. An accident? Who? Stacy? Is she going to be okay?~
Stacy had been found in her bathroom, dead. She had a wound in the back of her head, from falling down and hitting her head on the sink. She had died of head trauma. Juno buried her face in her hands. She was dimly aware of someone at her side. She looked up and saw Sean O'Haire at her side. "Hey," he said, "How are you holding out?" "Okay, she said, forcing a smile. She let out a sob. " Actually, not at all," she said, and started crying. Sean wrapped his arms around her. "No, I guess not to good, huh?" he said. Juno broke away from him. "I'm sorry," she said, " I didn't mean to burden you." "It's okay," he said, " I'm here for you anytime you need me." Juno forced another smile and walked to her room.
As she lay in her bed, the voices didn't come back. Her thoughts still came back to Stacy though, and oddly enough, Sean.
Please R/R! I will have Chapter 2 up soon! Sorry it is short, but they are all gonna be like that.
