"So, where do you want to eat, Saria?" Joey asks.
"Umm.. How about. The local pub?" Saria suggests.
Joey nods and then begins heading towards the pub.
"Actually, Saria, you go on ahead, I'll catch up in a sec." Joey says, his gaze caught by a blonde-haired woman who's back was facing him.
She looks curiously at him, "O-kay Joey," heading for the pub. Joey smiles and heads over to a group of friends nearby. Damn. I know that blonde chick's familiar!
Mai Valentine was chatting with some friends when a green jacket caught her attention from the corner of her eye. She turns to see the back of an extremely familiar blonde-haired boy. She looks at him, deep in thought. I know I know that kid, but who is he?
Joey laughs, in the same childish way he always had.
The laugh struck Mai with realization. Joey Wheeler. She smirks, "Hey! Aren't you that brat that has to have your brains, Yugi Moto, with you when you duel?"
Joey recognizes her voice instantly, as he wheels around. Mia Valentine. Dang she's even prettier than I remember! He chuckles, "Since when is Yugi my brain?"
Mia grins. "I thought that was you, Joey Wheeler!" She crosses her arms in front of her stomach,
Joey smirks. "Good to see you too, Mia."
