****Author's Note: I do not own any of the character's from 7th Heaven. I am pretty much letting my mind wander with this story so if it sounds weird sorry, also if anything sounds familiar it was because I wanted to chose a certain part of the show ( Lucy's Wedding)***

Ruthie entered the back door rather grumpily. "School sucks!" She announced to who ever was listening. "We don't say 'sucks' in this house please." Annie said while coloring with the boys. "Oh, sorry, How about I had a very bad day today?" "What happened at school today Ruthie?" "Nothing, mom, don't worry about it. I am going to do my homework now." Ruthie said as she walked up the steps to her room.

Lucy was sitting on her bed, looking through magazines for her wedding. She was excited her wedding was only two days away and she would then be Mrs. Kevin Kinkirk. As she was looking through her magazines, she heard stomping coming up the steps. She looked up to see a very disappointed Ruthie.
"how was school?" Lucy asked, knowing it must not have been good.
"horrible. Peter and I had another fight. He is just making things so complicated!"
"well, now not all relationships are easy. You think mine and Kevin's relationship is perfect? It is far from it."
Ruthie rolled her eyes. "One, we are not boyfriend and girlfriend, just very good friends who happen to like each other. Two, you two are getting married soon. So your relationship is supposed to be serious. I am just a 12 year old." Ruthie sighed heavily.
"Ok, ok fair enough. I will give you that. I mean if me and Kevin were not serious then well I wouldn't be getting married in two days!! Can you believe it? Two days!!" Lucy said very excitedly.
"Yeah, yeah. The best part? I will have my own room and I will not have to hear 'Kevin, Kevin, Kevin' every night. I will finally have peace and quiet."
Lucy looked disappointed. "I am sorry I am bothering you. maybe I should just live in the living room for the next two nights so that you will have privacy now."
"That is not what I mean. I am the youngest. No matter what in my life, I always had a roommate. True, I had my own room for like 2 years, but Simon would always keep the sliding doors open so it felt like one big room. Also, in being the youngest it feels like I am being abandoned."
Lucy looking confused, "how do you feel abandoned?"
"Well, while all of you leave, I am still here. Like Matt left, then Mary, now you. Simon will be next going to college. That just leaving me and the twins. There is like 10 years between me and the twins so it will be really boring for me."
"Ok, I see where you are coming from now. But, I really am not leaving. I am going to live in the garage apartment with Kevin. So that means pretty much I will be over here everyday."
"Yeah, I know. I just feel uncertainty." Ruthie said, pulling out her books.
"I know what you mean, I am kind of sad leaving this room. Getting married. Leaving everyone to have a family of my own someday. That includes leaving you, Ruthie."
"Really?"
Yeah, Mary isn't here often, so what other sister did I have to talk to? I like talking to you."
" Wow, I just felt a little in the way. Thanks, can I do my homework now?"
"Sure, sorry if you felt in the way, I kind of threw this wedding together in 2 months. I am glad you are in my wedding though. Now do your homework."
