CONRAD AND SHANA
There once was a young potter, Conrad. His love Shana was a princess of the local king. She always ran off in the night to see her love. Ever since they met in her garden of flowers. Her brothers followed her to make sure she was safe. Her brothers found out where she got all those lovely pots. Shana pleaded for her brothers not to tell their stepmother. Her brothers told their father that Shana got pots from the potter. Conrad. Their father asked how she met the potter. Her brothers said that he was trying to find a decoration for his pots. Their stepmother did not believe them, so she followed Shana to the garden only to find out they were in love. She went and told her husband. Her husband already knew and was planning to let them be. Their stepmother went to her brothers for help. Shana ran to the gardens like always only this time her dad came with her to meet Conrad. Shana's stepmother watched in anger as the king talked to a mere potter. The next day the stepmother's brother comes and talks to the king. The king refuses him in punishing the poor potter. The stepmother and her brother went to kill Conrad. Shana and her brothers were talking to Conrad at the time the stepmother came. The god, Cupid, was angered by her act to kill lovers. The god turned her to a cow and her brother into a cow. Conrad went to ask the king for Shana's hand in marriage. He agreed. The kingdom was raided and the king and his son's were killed. Shana and Conrad prayed to the gods that they never part in death. The two ruled a city and had kids. Only in old age were they turned into a tree with one trunk and many branches. Their children love having picnics under their parent's tree in the garden they met in.
