Hot For Teacher
A novice teacher is in hot water after allegedly engaging in an improper relationship with one of her students. According to unnamed sources, the student, a new transfer, showed little interest in girls his own age; preferring the company of his history teacher.
The unidentified student, shortly before uniformed Air Force personnel whisked him away to an undisclosed location, had this to say: "Oh for crying out loud! We weren't hurting anyone. Who did they expect me to date, some skinny little kid in braces?"
When asked if the teacher involved would face criminal charges, the youth's legal guardian, a General Hammond, made the following statement: "We don't think it would be in anyone's best interest to pursue legal action." When asked by this reporter if the boy would return to high school, Hammond stated: "We plan to assess our options, but rest assured, from now on he's going to be kept on a very short leash."

Teacher Forced To Resign
Susan Jones (24) a history teacher at a Colorado Springs local high school, handed in her resignation today after rumors of an improper relationship with one of her students. On advice of her legal counsel, Ms. Jones did not respond to the allegations. However, a colleague, who wished to remain anonymous, stated "Are they trying to say she took advantage of him? Oh please, that kid is more mature than most 30 years olds I know."

Whither Morality?
Recently, there has been a scandal involving a teacher and an underage student at one of our fair city's educational institutions. The student, a mere lad, who should have been innocently frolicking with children his own age, was instead seduced by a trusted authority figure; forced into a world he could not possibly understand.
Bad enough that an inexperienced youth was a victim of a predatory older woman, but even more outrageous was the reaction from several of our supposedly upright citizens interviewed by our roving reporter for the 'man on the street' perspective. These reactions ranged from a so-called anthropologist who tried to justify the boy's behavior by noting that May-December romances are the norm in many cultures, his companion who expressed admiration for the lad's "vitality" to the woman who said, "well, he is cute". Especially repellent was the response of an unidentified man, who, when asked his opinion of this horrendous violation, pumped his fist in the air and yelled "all right, way to go, Minime!"
Have we as a society become so degenerate that the flagrant abuse of a young boy has become the stuff of jokes? Is the corruption of this sweet, pure, innocent, child a subject for mockery and lewd comments from those who should know better? I shudder to think of the long-term emotional fallout this vulnerable child will suffer; damage compounded by the callous reaction of the public at large to his plight.
I fear for our country.

Disgraced Teacher Finds New Position
Susan Jones (24) the teacher dismissed from the Colorado Springs School System several months ago after allegations of an affair with a student has found employment at the NORAD facility. General George Hammond explained "well, it's the least we could do, considering the circumstances".
When asked about her new job, her only comment was "I can't tell you much, but it's out of this world".
The End.
