Chapter I June 13, 2008 It was a regular day in San Francisco. Everyone was doing what they regularly do. People were working, walking down the loud, busy streets, and others were just shopping or enjoying the view. No one knew what would happen in a few minutes, except one person. "Bomb is armed," said a man with a deep voice as he talked through a radio. "Affirmative," replied another man. "Let's show these traitors how we play." He grabbed a remote and pushed a button. A news crew was doing a story on great crops of California. They were in the Napa Valley when they saw a flash and then a horrifying cloud appear. The cameraman kept the camera aimed at the cloud. It was a mushroom shaped cloud. He automatically knew what happened. As the news spread throughout the U.S. and the world people were shocked. Thousands of people were dead or missing. The National Guard was sent to surround the area and send in robots to check for anything from survivors to clues on who did it. The large skyscrapers gone and houses were obliterated. Cars were thrown half a mile or demolished. The mushroom cloud was growing smaller as hours went by. President Garner issued that the U.S. will find the terrorists are country that did this and punish them. The military was ready for a fight. Hundreds of planes filled with tanks were ready to fly on a moments notice. The CIA was getting intel on different terrorist groups who could have done this. It was only a matter of time.
