My Angel
Why are we here, sent to this earth,
What can we make of ourselves?
A purpose, a goal, someone to love, someone who will make us fight.
Life is confusing with many turns, tearing our plans apart.
Outcasts we are, with no hopes and dreams,
And with no more room for love.
But in the end a star will come, guiding us through this life.
An angel is sent from the heavens above to help us find our way.
"My angel my love", I cry out to him. "You are the one I love."
A gentle kiss awakens my soul, and I know I will have to go on.
His soft touch, his gentle eyes show me I must go on.
I've seen the light, the light of my soul and for him I will continue my goal.
But one day I awake, tears in my eyes, as I awake to an empty room.
The light has gone, he went back above, and now I am left all alone.
The tears of my heart, the tears of my soul
