Chapter 1: Piper's Discovery
For Piper, it was just a typical day at the manor. "Paige!!! Did u
borrow my gold earrings again??!!" yelled Phoebe. "Oh, what I would give
to get out of here," Piper muttered. Suddenly, Piper sat up.
She grabbed the phone and dialed the number of Ashley, another person who
worked at P3. "Ashley?" "Yes?" "I was wondering, since I covered for you
when you had that date on Friday, if you could cover for me today?" "Sure,
I'll be right over to pick up the keys to the club." "Thanks a lot Ashley,
I really need a day off" "No problem"
As soon as she got off the phone, Piper unlocked the front door and placed
the club keys on the foyer table. She went back into the kitchen and found
Phoebe and Paige drinking coffee and still fighting over Phoebe's earrings.
"You told me I could borrow them!!" argued Paige. "No, I said they don't
match my outfit that I was wearing on my date!" "So that meant if you
weren't going to use them I could!"
Piper was just so pissed she yelled "AREN'T YOU TWO GOING TO BE LATE FOR
WORK??!!" "You know, your right! Come on Paige I'll give you a ride,"
Phoebe said, as if Piper had told them in her normal tone. "Finally,"
Piper breathed as she slumped into the sofa. "Now what should I do today?"
Piper just had to do just one thing productive so she attempted to kind of
clean out the attic. In a small corner she found a big trunk she had never
seen before. "Wow, this trunk is taking up a lot of space and I don't even
know what's in it," Piper wondered to herself. She tried to open it but it
was locked with a huge, brass, old-fashioned lock.
She examined the trunk closer. It was big and made of wood painted black
and was lined with brass on the corners. Piper dusted off the top and
discovered the words "Patricia Halliwell" written on it. She spent about
half and hour and then finally picked open the lock. She gasped as she
looked inside it ..
