Disturbing the Silence

He shivers in the cold winter's wind. Nothing to think about but emptiness. Royu Bakura had once again led himself to an outdoor walk. His yami, Bakura, had been yelling at him again. Although Royu was sure that Bakura had forgotten what for. Royu hates when people yell, even if there not yelling at him, but someone else. When Royu found himself around someone who was yelling, he would bend down to his knees and put his hands over his ears. It was getting pretty late out and Royu's house was farther then he realized. Just up ahead, he saw Yugi's house. Royu thought it would be pretty rude if he just went over there to ask to spend the night, so he decided to forget about it and head for home.

The wind was getting stronger and colder by each passing second while the snow got deeper. Royu didn't know how much more of this he could take. As the minutes passed by, Royu got weaker. Bakura had always said he was weak, and that without him, Royu would never make it through anything. That he was just a child to be taken care of. A sudden gust of wind blew Royu to his back. He tried his best to get up but found he couldn't. With that Royu just lay there...silently.

******** Royu awakened, his eye lids still half way down. He found himself in his room with piles of blankets upon him. ".hmmm?..." was all the boy could manage. Didn't he faint in the snow? What was going on? Royu soon heard footsteps coming from the hall towards his door. Seconds later he saw the pale figure of his yami. "Are you alright?" he said without much emotion. Royu tried to move, but found he couldn't. Bakura walked up to the bed where Royu lay, and sat on the side. Funny how at some points in time you want to do something, but cant.

".I'm.fine." was the best Royu could do. Right then, the phone rang. Bakura went to answer, while Royu just lay there trying to get up. After a few moments Bakura came back to the side of the bed-Royu hadn't succeeded in getting up. "That was Malik. He asked hw you were doing." Was what came out of the pale boy. Royu just remained still. Bakura got and said, "I'm going to the kitchen, to get you..." He was expecting Royu to finish what Bakura started. "...tea." With that, Bakura was off. Royu had to get up and do something, the fact that he couldn't do anything for himself, made Royu want to get up even more than anything. But if he should get up, he knew that Bakura would just yell at him even more then yesterday. So he did nothing but wait until Bakura returned.
