MARY SUE, CHILD OF HOGWARTS
Life was good. They had the school set up and going, they had over a million galleons between them, and they had a child. Mary Sue.
Technically, she was Helga's and Salzar's but the founders had become so incredibly close, through it all, that they almost thought of themselves as a single person.
Mary Sue really was perfect. Well, of course she was. She was Mary Sue, child of Hogwarts. The symbol that was going to live as long as the school stood. She had been purposely made perfect, even before she was born, many spells had been given to ensuring bravery, intelligence, loyalty and cunning, the four qualities of Hogwarts, and a talent for wandless magic, to make her special. Of course, there was no reason not to give her beauty. Or bodily strength, as at the time they had no idea what sex she was to be.
When she was born, Mary Sue was so pretty anyone who saw her melted instantly. She looked a little like all the founders, although primarily Helga and Salzar. She the startlingly red lips of Rowena, the golden curls of her mother, and the large nose of Godric. But mostly she resembled her father, with the straight cheekbones, big blue eyes, and the look that suggested she knew something no one else did.
She started at the school when she was eleven, like everyone else. The four founders simply couldn't decide which of their houses should get her, and finally agreed that she could be in every house, take every lesson that happened for her year with a time-turner, and sleep in her own little bedroom built dead in the middle of the four house common rooms.
She excelled at everything. She was a true seer, and a Parselmouth. She learnt different languages in her spare time.
When the four founders died, and they all died together, being almost one person, Mary Sue, not wanting to make the school any more unhappy than it already was, bore all the pain inside, not wanting anyone else to feel any worse. She single handedly took over the running of the school, even though she still attended it; she was thirteen. She was forced to use time-turners constantly to teach all the classes, and couldn't bring herself to employ extra professors, as she knew there was no one better than herself at any subject.
She died defending it from the last Arctic Elemental, a species that was, was, well, made extinct after she killed the last one. It was agreed that for what she had done for the school, it should be re-named Hog In Honour Of Mary Sue Warts. But it didn't stick. Hog In Honour Of Mary Sue Warts was just too long, and people just called in Hogwarts after a few months.

AN: Like it? Hate it? I don't really care, this is just a bit of blather I felt like writing a while back. I did actually post it, but then I went back and modified it because it dragged on too much. If a lot of people like this, I might expand it. Although, if I did that, it would probably turn in to a horribly long 30 odd chapter monster like my Neopet fic is currently turning out. Ahem. Well, if you've read this, and I mean the fic, not the rather long Authors Note, please review it. Thankyou.
