[Disclaimer: I own SSBM? Yeah, and my name's Professor Chaos. :P]

[A/N: This came about yesterday while I was frantically trying to beat Jigglypuff's target test- GRRR I hated it so much! I beat it, but the memory still remains. Or something... It's in Jiggly's POV. Yay. R&R.]

[Target Breakin' Trauma]

I sit alone, waiting and wondering

What the day will bring- it's a mystery.

Then I'm called up to "break the targets"-

Huh? Oh no, this couldn't be!

Every time I'm placed in this danger,

I get burned by protective shields.

Knocked back and forth, set ablaze

No one else could know how bad this feels.

And then, when I'm past that obstacle,

I get barraged by flying purple bricks.

They dart from all directions, pummeling me,

Until I'm so dizzy and utterly sick.

Finally- and this is the worst-

I'm forced to float and hit three targets at once!

The first two go fine, but when I reach the last,

I lose my breath and fall like some silly dunce.

I'm dreading this moment, I want to go home.

But if I do, then I'll look like a fool.

So, sighing, I leave to break the targets...

Why does this course have to be so cruel?

~

I'm transported to the targets stage-

The very premonition frightens me so.

Immediately I smash the first two targets-

Those two are easy, this I know.

Then here come the flaming barricades-

I'm praying and hoping I don't get hurt.

But by a strange twist of fate, I sail past them easily.

I'm so happy, I want to scream to them "Eat dirt!"

After I hit another target, it's time

To dodge the bricks that fly right at me.

I swerve and slip past them all in an instant-

Has something strange happened to me?

I dive to the lower level- oh, no, I can feel

The uneasiness stirring in my veins.

The three targets I have to smash in midair...

My goodness, it's starting to give me pains.

Time to take a great flying leap.

I hold my breath and float across.

SMASH! goes the first one; I 'pound' to the next.

My breath's getting short, I fear that I've lost!

But then something happens that I don't expect-

The last target is broken, hallelujah! I'm through!

"A new record!" the announcer calls to the world.

I did it in 26 seconds! Whoo hoo!

So as I look back at the course of horrors,

I smile, knowing that the trauma's over now.

But then I get called to bat in the home-run contest-

Oh great, I have *another* problem now...

[A/N: That was... odd. I thought so, anyway. I understand if you don't appreciate my rhymin' skillz, but the least you could do is R&R and cheer me up. Or laugh at me. Whichever.]
