Gone.
They were all gone.
God, she had never expected it.
She thought they would outlive even her.
But there were their ashes.
She really hadn't expected that.
But, then again.
She never really understood them.

He fought for her.
And she had helped her with research.
And now they had died for her.
It was interesting.really
To have them die for her.
True, she had never expected it.
But still, it's strange.
She felt no remorse.no pain
Having seen him burst into flames.
Having watched as they were stabbed, or beheaded
And all she felt was.nothing
She felt nothing
It was as if she had closed herself off from the world.
And then, everything just ended
Her numbness, that nothing-ness
And she felt all of it.
That pain she had expected.
The remorse.
And a want for revenge.
That was now in place as well.
*A drop of water fell, and slowly, the heavens opened and cried upon a
still form.
Never moving, the form just stood, and slowly, a single tear streaked down
a pale face.
And, as if a damn had broken, more flowed, and soon, there was a flood of
salty water.
Trailing down the young girls face.*
She took one last look at her frinds.
And slowly, she tuned around.
Never to look back.
She would hunt down all of them.
And once they were all dead,
She would do what she could to bring them all back to life.
Just so she could hunt them again,
and this time.
She would make them feel pain, and beg for death.
And then she would leave them alive.
Just so she could come back later and do it again.
Until they could take it no longer.
Then she would make them commit suicide..
*slowly the girl turned around, and for the last time, the Slayers boots
passed over the streets (crater) that was everything left of Sunnydale.
never to be seen again, until it was too late.*
