October 13th 2012 8:13 pm

A graying haired man runs away from what seems to be a skinny hunched over, bald man with a long nose and pointy ears in a tattered trench coat in an alley. The bald man has this breathy panting going on, as he's jumping all over the walls and fire escapes to catch the other man.

"HHUNNNNNGRRY!"

The Bald man yells dementedly as he dives at the other man. "WHY?!" The graying hired man asks as he's caught by the sadistic circus geek.

"Because... Benjamin Parker... you've caught twenty seven of my employer's men! Did you really think that we wouldn't KNOW who you WERE?" The Bald man swipes down with his claw like hand, slashing Ben's face and before he can do it again, he's called off by someone at the end of the alley with two people next to him. and some starved dogs on leashes in front of them.

"TOOMES!"

Hyperventilating, the man now identified as 'Toomes' turns to the man in the suit. "Boss... why are you here?" The 'Boss' walks up and put's his hand on Toomes's bony shoulder. "I told you to call me Norman, Adrian. You're one of my right hand men." Ben looks at Norman and says his alias. "Goblin..." Ben has wide eyes while he looks at Norman's face.

The Goblin turns to Ben and grins widely. "Well, well... If it isn't the great Detective Parker. Good work Toomes!" Toomes bows at Norman, appreciating the praise. "Now... What to do with you? Ah! I've got it!" Goblin snaps his fingers at the 'revelation'. "Toomes hasn't eaten in a few days, and these dogs haven't had a lick of food in weeks!" The Goblin cackles.

Ben stares with extraordinarily wide eyes, then his eyes start to fade as we pan out on the bloodied body of Benjamin Franklin Parker being eaten by stray dogs, different from the ones Norman brought. The body soon to be found by Ben's 15 year old nephew, Peter Parker.

June 26th 2014 2:47 pm Midtown East

The Doors to Midtown High burst open with thousands of students leaking out, talking and yelling loudly. We see Peter Parker take an alternate route off of campus, by walking to a blind spot of the fence, and jumping over the whole thing! He calls his aunt and tells her that he'll be home at around 11:30, she questions the time, but he says that it'll be fine. Ending the call, Peter runs over to an alleyway, not to far from school and checks if anyone is looking at him. Seeing that no one is, he jumps on an alley wall and sticks to it! Climbing slowly to the top, in order to not alert anyone on the inside to his presence.

When he reaches the empty rooftop, he finds a metal box with the initials B.F.P. hidden on top of the roof entrance. He unlocks the Master Lock with a key in his left pocket, and opens it. "Back at it again huh, Pete?" Peter mutters to himself as he puts the missing part of his bracelets on, and starts taking off his clothes. Starting with his Brown coat, he sheds it off and folds it, putting it off to the side. He takes off his fake glasses, his shirt, shoes, and pants, folding or placing them off to the side, showing his extraordinarily defined muscles and scars to no one at all. He grabs a Pair of Black pants, a black long sleeve muscle shirt, Black boots, Black full Biker gloves, a black button up vest with a gray spider emblem on the back along with normal folded collar, and puts it all on. He then takes out one last item from the box, before stashing his normal clothes inside the box, Peter then takes a long hard look at the piece of cloth in his hands.

A black head mask with white polarized goggles.

He puts the Mask on, concealing his identity to the world, becoming the Spider-Man once again. He then takes a running start and jumps to a taller building, landing on the side, then crawls up. He repeats this process until he reaches the gargoyles on The Chrysler building. Peter presses the side of his mask, presumably where his ear is, and a police scanner starts. He looks over to his left and sees a news chopper, as the scanner goes off to it's set parameters.

*Click* "10-80 in progress in Midtown East, i repeat 10-80 in progress in Midtown East, over." *Click*

"*Sigh* Time to get to work." Peter stretches and begins running to the edge of the gargoyle. Jumping off and free falling for a few seconds, he finally shoots a Web-Line toward a building and proceeds to sling toward the chase in progress.

The chase is getting pretty heated, With the men driving the stolen vehicles taking out a 12-gauge pump action shotgun, and an Automatic M4, firing at the wheels of a police cruiser. "Keep it steady!" The one firing the shotgun says. This ends up causing one of the police cruisers to swerve and launch over a makeshift ramp, toward a group of pedestrians! Some with their phones out recording the chase, all of them duck down and close their eyes but then...

*THWIP!* *THWIP!* *THWIP!* *THWIP!*

The car is suspended a few feet in the air! An African-Hispanic woman who looks like she got off her shift from a hospital, looks around the side of the cruiser and notices something strange... "It's a web?!" the woman exclaims. A teenager who looks like school just let out, realizes who this must be!

A black masked figure slings overhead at an extremely fast speed!

"GO SPIDER-MAN! GO!" The teenager recording yells!

Peter slings down with a perceived grace before a semi truck gets into the intersection about to kill his momentum, he pulls a stunt he's been practicing...

*THWIP!* *THWIP!*

Peter Fires two web lines, one on the cargo trailer and another on the cabin. He pulls hard, causing the webs to force him through the tiny gap!

"WOOOOOHOO!" Peter yells as he pulls off the stunt, immediately firing another web line to a building. "We Got company!" one of the drivers yells to the two gunmen to begin firing at The Spider-Man, who contorts his body mid air, in a way that the bullets and pellets don't even graze him. Peter lands on the back of one car and easily webs the driver and gunmen to a passing streetlamp. As for the other car? It begins speeding even faster. So much so, to where web slinging wouldn't let Peter catch up to it. So he does the only logical thing.

*THHHHWIIIP* *THHHHWIIIP*

Peter fires two web lines at the back of the escaping car. He begins reeling himself in while his feet are sliding on the pavement, he's dodging cars, and running on them. "Don't just sit there! Start throwin' lead!" the driver yells, bringing the gunmen out of his stupor. The gunmen with the M4 begins trying to land a hit on Spider-Man, but the driver keeps on swerving, causing him to run out of ammo before he could even land a shot. Peter makes it onto the speeding car and webs the gunmen to a building, while he jumps and twists himself parallel to the driver and with a double web line kick, he launches the driver out of the entire car... With the damn car door!

Peter lands in the driver's seat. 'Alright Pete, Uncle Ben taught you how to drive... just gotta ease on the break to stop. Simple!'

As Peter is breaking, he sees a bus full of elementary school kids that he's on a collision course with!

'SHIT!'

Peter abandons the easy way and jumps to the hood of the car and webbing two buildings at once, trying to forcefully stop the car. The front of the car almost touches the bus!

Peter turns to the petrified kids and salutes, then he leaves without a word.

June 26 5:14 pm

Peter is found hanging upside down from a web line, watching the driver he kicked out the car, run with a limp, into an alley. Peter then hops down in front of the man who then pulls out a knife, with a shaky hand. "D-d-d-don't-t h-hurt m-me man!" Peter snaps his wrist and begins to forcefully siphon information out of the perp. "Who's your employer?" Peter asks with an eerie calm. "I'll tell ya! I'll tell ya!" the man repeats his words. "I asked who? Not for you to ramble!" Peter shakes the man by the collar as he cries.

*Click Flash!*

"His name- His name is, The Goblin! That's all I know I swear!" Peter seems slightly convinced, something telling him that the man knows more.

"Who do you report to?!" The man is crying even harder, even pissing himself from the pain and fear, of those pure, white... eyes.

"W-we call h-him H-Hammerhead!" Peter smirks behind his mask.

"Much obliged." Peter smashes his fist into the man's face

*SMACK*

*Click Flash!*

*CRACK*

The wall cracks around the man's head, leaving the man unconscious. "Okay gotta search his pockets now." Peter rifles through the man's pockets, finding cash, a gang membership card? Goblin may be clever as hell, but he's a damn ponce sometimes. 'Well wouldn't you know it? Rank and his immediate hire-ups? I just hit the jackpot.' Peter slinks away and grabs his camera, as he hears sirens in the distance.

June 26 New York Bulletin 6:15 pm

Peter in his normal attire is coming up an elevator to his job, as a website designer/freelance photographer/Journalistic apprentice. The elevator's doors open as Peter begins to walk toward an office in the back of the cubicles. The office has the name 'Urich' emblazoned on the wooden door.

*Knock Knock*

"Come in" A voice from the inside says. Peter opens the door and sees his mentor, Ben Urich. "Hey Peter, what's going on?" Ben asks. "You know... work, helping out the Bulletin, getting high resolution pictures of The Spider-Man..." Ben looks at him with wide eyes. "Hold on, you got pictures of 'THE' Spider-Man?!" Peter smiles and pulls out his camera. "Yup, got it all here! Just gotta develop it. it'll sure help the paper out!" Ben leans back in his seat and lets out a whistle. "I gotta ask Ben... Who's Hammerhead?" Urich's eyes go wide all of a sudden. "How'd you learn that name?!" Peter's confused as to why Ben's acting this way. "I heard a getaway driver squeal his name when I got the pictures."

"Did anyone see you?!"

"No, course not."

Ben relaxes slightly. "Good, good... we're going to have to keep your name out of these photos. you'll be paid the same, if not more than usual. Just promise me that you'll stay as far away as you can from The Goblin's Gang." Ben demands Peter to promise him. "I promise." Peter compies to the demand. " Go develop those photos, and turn them in to Mitch. Go on your way, it's your payday after all." Peter leaves the room with the idea that Urich knows who Hammerhead is.

Peter closes the door and walks into a dark room with red light, with photos hanging from clips in the air. He begins developing the photos which takes a while.

June 26th 9:14 pm New York Bulletin

Peter walks out of the dark room with a few photos. And Begins walking to the editor's room, and passes a brown haired, chestnut eyed secretary. "Hey Ms. Brant."

"Highya, Pete. How's it going?"

"You know... Number one in the entirety of Midtown Science and Tech's graduating class, and I'm selling photos here." Peter says sarcastically. "Oh come on Peter, at least Mitchell pays you twenty dollars an hour plus bonus for photos, I'm stuck with seventeen dollars an hour and nothing else." Betty manages to stop Peter from complaining further. "Yeah... you're right." Peter admits.

"Damn right I am!" Betty smiles. "I gotta go turn in these photos of Spider-Man. I'll see you around Betty." Peter waves at her while he walks into Mitchell Ellison's office, leaving Betty dumbfounded on how Peter got photos of 'THE' Spider-Man.

"Hey Peter, Here for your check?" The balding man at the desk asks. "Yeah, but I managed to get another thing that you're gonna like!" Peter Presents the photos to Mitchell. Who does a spit take of his water, off to the side. "How in the hell did you get photos of 'THE' Spider-Man?! This guy is illusive as hell!" Mitchell questions Peter. "I Worked out a deal with him. He lets me take photos of him in action, and I give him some of the money, so he can make more of that web fluid of his." Peter gives his alibi, While Mitch gives him a thousand and two hundred n' seventy-five dollars, plus his check, for the guaranteed sell out of papers. "One more thing, Ben asked me to tell you to keep my name out, apparently, one of the Goblin's men was being interrogated in one." Mitch freezes in place. "Yeah! It's no problem Peter, we wouldn't want a hit to be placed on your head!" Mitch laughs nervously at the mention of the Goblin.

It seems that everyone knows of Goblin. The man had a reputation of icing people he didn't like all to well. It was too bad he owned seventy-five percent of the police force.

{A/N: I'm trying to narrate some parts with a 1930s New Yorker accent... :D}

Peter walks out the building and looks left and right, he walks for a bit, then turns down an alley, and walks to the metal box from earlier and grabs the mask and half full Web-Shooters from it. Taking the box after closing it, he then begins to get to higher ground and sling off to Forest Hills, his home

June 26th 10:36 pm Forest Hills, New York

Peter lands on top of a house, opening a window and leaving his mask and Web-Shooters inside the box and placing it inside the building. Peter then jumps down to the ground, and goes around to the front of the house and walks through the door. He sees a middle aged woman looking, at the kitchen table, worriedly at bills. "Hey! Hows the most beautiful girl in all of Forest Hills, doing this evening?" Peter tries to flatter the woman as he comes in the house. "Oh Peter, you're sweet... I thought you said that you'd be home at 11:30?" May asks why Peter is here early. "The photos took a little shorter time than I expected to develop." Peter smiles.

"Oh! And before I forget, I got my paycheck today. We can pay the bills and have a lot of money left over as well." Peter says while waving around his check. "That's very nice of you Peter, but shouldn't you be spending that money on girls?" May questions. "Nah, I got a bonus of Seven-hundred and fifty bucks, for giving the paper a surefire way to sell out for a few days." May's eyes bulge out. "How on Earth?! What kind of photos guarantee that kind of bonus?!" May asks Peter incredulously. "You're going to have to find out on..."

"THE NEXT EPISODE OF DRAGON BALL Z!"/"THE NEXT EPISODE OF DRAGON BALL Z!"

May and Peter laugh at the joke. "I'm so glad I showed you that show!" May wipes a tear from her eye. Peter gets back to the conversation. "Yeah, you're going to have to wait until, the day after tomorrow, for the paper to come out. I'm beat, have a good night May!" The Seventeen year old kisses his surrogate mother's cheek, then goes to his room, upstairs.

Peter walks into his room and stores the box into a hidden floorboard that has bottles labeled 'Web-Fluid version 3.8' in the compartment. He puts the cover back on, then gets ready for bed.

Peter falls asleep after a rather normal day for himself. Car chases and Photography work.

{A/N: A Peter Parker focused story, I'm kind of making two versions? The one on Ao3 is darker and more cynical, while this one will eventually become a crossover due to the nature of The Weaver and the Web of life… I'm thinking that I'll leave a poll on my profile for people to decide.}

[Until next time Fellow True Believers!]
