Prologue

Many years ago where the world was still torn with hardship whilst dragons roamed the world and magic had reached an arguable prime as a wide range of various powerful magic's were known throughout the land there was a certain small village.

There were many different villages across the world whilst some cities had only begun to form, but there were only a few that devoted themselves to the gods, the beings that they saw higher and stronger than any others, even the dragons that freakily made constant troubles in their attacks, making for the only real war that truly covered the land.

One of the great cities of the land, Mildian, a city praised for its knowledge and innovation at the time whilst remaining the loyal followers of the god of time Chronos, with nearly its every inhabitant praying to the deity, was one of the few cities that were known to both thrive and continue with their religion, marking it with fame. It was from their school and scholars and fellowship of their god that they had made many discoveries in the world of magic, discoveries that would one day come to be known as lost magic once the city would fall to the curse placed on one of their greatest, the black wizard Zeref…

A curse that was noted as the direct influence of the god of life and death, Ankzeriham. Yet the curse of contradiction that he gave wasn't the only influence of the gods that happened to the world….

In the village of Twilong lived the followers of the god of reality, Theodon, who were regarded as the counterparts of Mildian simply from the deity that they followed, yet whilst Chronos had guided Mildian from a distance and towards prosperity, abiding by a certain sense of distance, Theodon went about things in a much, much riskier way…

It was one day in the village when the sky had changed colour whilst a sparkle of light took place in the sky which easily gathered the attention of everyone in the village, getting them to gather in the centre of the village, everyone gathering to better see just whatever they were bearing witness to.

It was then that the sparkle in the sky began to lower to the villagers below, revealing itself to be a sparkling stone that shone with magic unlike anything else. The pure magical power that radiated from it whilst feeling unlike anything else made it clear to the villagers just what had descended upon them, it couldn't have been any less than a gift from their almighty.

The villagers made use of the stone, holding it upward above their heads as they made use of its divine power that shaped the world around them, washing over the field that they had filling it with nutrients and vitality, staving off the natural disasters that threatened the village whilst using it to scare off any who dared threaten the safety of the village, enshrining it all the while.

Yet the other gods all looked down at disdain at what they had witnessed, all of them already noticing the fatal mistake that had been made by the spacial god. All of them couldn't help but shame the individual whilst they waited for what they felt to be the inevitable, something which took place even sooner than they had expected…

It wasn't long before the different colonies of the world found out about the divine power of the stone that had been gifted from the heavens. Talk of it had spread far and wide as it sparked the interest of the natural greed of man, a spark that soon grew into a raging fire that threatened to consume as war began to be waged, all over the desire for the stone…

For a desperate defence they continuously tried to hold off the armies that came to their land with the power of the stone, but they never relented in the slightest. But they had become dependent on the stone's power, they lacked the ability to properly fight back whilst the stone never allowed them to directly harm through it until they took a risk that further upset the gods…

The gods soon felt like enough had been done between the endless wars and the treasure of the villagers of Twilong, and just as another pressing surge was made against the village was made they made their own move to end everything once and for all…

The world was clueless about what took place, as the only news that emerged from that night was the mysterious and sudden annihilation of the village and all those that had dared to attack it, without even a trace of even a body having made it through the mysterious phenomenon whilst the sacred stone had likewise vanished without a trace…

Until many hundreds of years later…
