Chapter One The Tournament Of The Heir:

~Daemon's POV~

I was sitting on the throne when Rhaenyra come in "What do you think you're doing, Uncle" Rhaenyra aske "sitting this could well be my chair one day" I relied "not if you're executed for treason you haven't came to court in an age" Rhaenyra said "court is so dreadfully boring" I said back "then why come back at all?" Rhaenyra asked "I heard your father was hosting a tournament in my honor." I answered "the tournament is for his heir" Rhaenyra said "just as I said" "his new heir" Rhaenyra said "until your mother brings forth a son you all cursed with me" I answered as I walked down the steps holding a gift for Rhaenyra "then I hope for a brother" Rhaenrya said ""I bought you something" I said

Holding out my hand with a necklace there was a long silence before I asked "do you know what it is?" "it's Valyrian steel dark sister like dark sister" Rhaenyra said surprised "turn around" I asked Rhaenyra, Rhaenyra turned around moving her hair out of the way so I can put on the necklace when it was clasped together she turned back around "beautiful" I said. I ran my tongue on her ear lobe before I could do anything more the doors to the Red Keep opened.

The king's guard come in "My princess the king wish to speak with you" the guard said. "later uncle I will see you at the heir's tournament" whispered in Daemon's ear she didn't let him say anything she just walked away. I need to get out of there or I will find her and have my way with her Daemon thought to himself he walked out of the Red keep and down to the silk streets to find a whore.

~Rhaenyra's POV~

I walked out of the throne room with a smile I finally got to the king's room I didn't even knock on the door "father you wanted to see me" I asked "yes I have two things that I wish to speak to you about firstly your mother will have the baby soon I wish for you to go see her, and secondly there is a reason why Daemon is here not just because of the tournament he is here to marry you if the baby in your mother belly is not a boy Daemon will still be the heir" Viserys said to her "father I have never questioned you before about anything but may I ask why I'm going to marry Daemon?" I asked confused "Daemon very hot headed and quick to temper I think by me marry you off to him he will come down and make him level headed" her father answered her. "father I think it is time to find a new hand of the king Otto is overreaching his position He's plotting, Alicent is also spying on me and reporting to her father she trying find something on so father can tell so you can disown me" I told my father "my sweet daughter I know what is he is doing I'm just wanting for proof so I can get rid of him Don't worry he won't be here for much longer my sweet daughter" Viserys replied.

After visiting with her father she walked her mother's doors Aemma was laying in bed " mother did you know that I'm going to be marrying Daemon? and did you know that Otto and Alicent farting and scheming" I asked "Rhaenyra I know about Otto and Alicent I have been telling your father about the Hightower he should find a new hand, yes I know about Daemon too I was the one told your father it would be a good idea" Aemma replied "do you know when we will be married?" I asked Aemma have a chance to answer when she felt some pain in her back and belly "go get the maester the baby is coming" screamed Aemma.

Rhaenyra ran out of the room looking for the maester she find the maester in the small council room "forgive me your majesty but I need to maester in the queen's room the queen said it is the baby" Rhaenyra said with concern in her voice. King Viserys, the maester and Rhaenyra all ran to the queen's room. The maester when over to check on Aemma to Make sure everything was going okay "need you to got my tools make sure everyone that is out of the room" the maester said to one of the servants.

Viserys asked everyone in his court to go to the throne room, Viserys and Rhaenyra where the last one to get to the throne the guard open the door for them and announce their presence everyone bowed their heads as for Viserys walked to the throne he sat down " queen Aemma has gone into labor and tomorrow the tournament will begin" Viserys said with excitement everyone cheered and clapped. only one who was not present was Daemon he was still at silk street in one of the brothel.

~3rd person POV~

The next day all the lords, ladies, knights at arena for the tournament all of king's landing know that queen Aemma is labor what they didn't know was there is complications with queen and her pregnancy. Viserys left for the tournament so it can start everyone was excited for the tournament most of all they where excited that there maybe a heir for Viserys the knights where waiting for Viserys to say the word begin but the one thing that was on everyone's minds was where is princess Rhaenyra.

Rhaenyra was on her dragon Syrax when she road Syrax it was because she loves to fly, it help clear her mind and that is what she was doing. She finally landed at dragon pit so she can go back to the castle to get ready for the tournament and to check on her mother to see if she has a baby brother or sister Rhaenyra disembarked Syrax head to the carriage. She finally arrived at the castle Rhaenyra went to her bed chamber to get ready after she changed she went to check on her mother "go get the king at once" the maester told Rhaenyra.

~Rhaenyra POV~

I got to my mother room I was about to ask how she was doing but the maester told me to go get my father there was something wrong just by the fact that where still no baby I ran out of her room down to the court yard and Otto was there "it is wrong" he asked with no emotion and his voice "go tell my father he is need a once the maester needs to speak to him" Rhaenyra told with sadness in her voice Otto rode to the arena.

Rhaenyra when to the stables to settle her horse to go to the arena as she got there she saw her father mount hurt his horse to ride back to the castle. Rhaenyra sat next to Alicent, Alicent leaned over whispered "why the long face you should be happy your baby boy or sister soon and there is a tournament for entertainment?" "something is wrong with the birth Aemma has been in labor since yesterday and there is still no baby" Rhaenyra answered.

Meanwhile back at the castle we see Viserys rush into the castle to his wife, he was hoping that there was baby when he finally go to her room "there something wrong the baby is not coming and if I don't do anything both baby and mother will die do I have permission to cut the mother to save the baby" the maester asked with a concerned voice " if you cut her will she survive?" Viserys asked a concerned voice"no but if I do nothing they both will die so what will it be your majesty?" asked the maester.

"go ahead save my heir" Viserys sitting next to his wife Aemma looks over at Viserys "something is wrong Viserys, I don't want to die" as Aemma was saying this the maester and servants started to tie her down so they won't hurt her anymore then they have to. the maester cut her belly to removed the baby Aemma was bleed out begging for Viserys to stop this but her pleading fell on deaf ears, the maester finally removed the baby Aemma died before she could meet her son the maester said that the baby didn't make it and the baby was a boy Viserys just walked out to the throne room, Viserys walked by one of the servant and told them if they see Rhaenyra that she was to go to the throne room.

Viserys walked to the throne room surprised to see Rhaenyra here maybe one of the servants saw her and told or maybe she walked back to the throne room after Viserys told her to leave. but that doesn't matter now the only thing that matters is Viserys still doesn't have a son and that Aemma is dead and he will have to marry again. "Rhaenyra I have sad news share with you your mother died so did the baby" Viserys told her.

~The next day~

After the funeral of Aemma and Baelon king Viserys gathered his small council to discuss what is going to happen now Otto is trying to convince Viserys that Daemon is not the right choice for being the heir and Otto wanted Rhaenyra as the heir but Viserys would have none of it and that Daemon will still be the heir, then they discuss that Viserys needs to remarry. Viserys yelled my wife and child just had a funeral when the time is right I will remarry.

Corlys Velaryon suggested his daughter for Viserys, Viserys said he would think about it.

Three months after the death of his wife and son Viserys made his decision on who he wanted to remarry he gathered the small council to tell them his decision on who he was going to marry "I have made my decision on who I'm going to marry it is going to be Laena Velaryon" Viserys said. Otto was disappointed at it was not Alicent because after the funeral he sent Alicent to the king he told her to comfort the King but Viserys know what Otto was doing so he called Otto to his room to discuss urgent matters Viserys told Otto that he know that Otto was overreaching his position so he removed hand badge from his chest and dismissed him from court and to take his family with him.
