How many of you have read the manga for Dragon Ball Super? If so, how many of you like the recent arc in it? I didn't like the inclusion of Gas, but I did love the ending. Wasn't a fan of how the wishes had been used to make Gas the strongest in the universe, so I thought that I'd make a fanfic where the Time Patrols intervene with this fight.

Both Goku and Vegeta grunted as they skidded to a stop. Gas had been overpowering them for quite some time and from the looks of it, they weren't anywhere near his power. Just a couple of minutes ago, they learned that Bardock, Goku's father, had defeated Gas all those years ago due to a mysterious power-up.

Neither of their new forms had made a dent in him. Goku's Ultra Instinct had failed, and Vegeta's Ultra Ego barely did the damage needed. All it did was infuriate Gas even more. Granolah was injured severely as well due to Elec's attack on him, meaning that they didn't have the support they needed.

Vegeta growled angrily. "Just because you have received a power-up from the Dragon Balls, you're acting all cocky." He barked, "If you didn't have it, you would have been snivelling on the ground begging for mercy."

Gas just smiled at Vegeta's words as he continued to walk forward, "But here's the thing, I am not on the ground, snivelling, you are." He chuckled, "But if you were to beg for mercy, I might give you two painless deaths."

"Damn you!" Vegeta yelled as he charged up his ki and let out a massive Final Flash. While it didn't do any damage, it did push Gas back quite a distance. "I will not be defeated by a weakling who doesn't rely on his own power!" He yelled as he shot Lucora Gun as well, trying to get some damage in.

Goku stood up as well, "You're right Vegeta." He said as he rushed forward, intent on defeating the enemy, evading the Lucora Gun due to Ultra Instinct. Gas did shoot some ki blast in reply, but Goku had evaded all of them, getting close enough to launch a Supreme Kamehameha that dug into the ground.

A cloud of huge dust had sprung up at the point of impact. Both Oil and Macki were worried at the point of impact, worrying about Gas, while Elec had a wicked smile on his face. While they were confused for a while, they too had smiles when they saw Gas reappear from the smoke, unscathed from the attack.

"No effect at all." He chuckled as he rushed forward, attacking the two of them who were helpless to do anything other than guard. "JUST ACCEPT YOUR FATE AND DIE!" He screamed as he continued his unrelenting assault. He ended the assault in a huge kick, which sent the two flying back.

The mountain behind them obstructed their path as they transformed back into their base form, damaged severely from the rampage of the Heeter.

"Man, Vegeta, this one's hard to handle," Goku mumbled. He then rested his head on the rubble behind. "Man, I really hoped that Whis could have given us more time." He then looked at his comrade, "You know that there's only one way left to defeat him."

Vegeta grumbled at that. He knew what Kakarot was talking about. Fusion. They had done it once against Zamasu, using the Potara, and then they did it against Broly, using the dance.

"I hate to admit it, but you're right." He frowned. "But we only have one chance to do it. Any mistakes here will likely cost us our lives." If done incorrectly, the dance would create a weaker fusion than the one they needed. They would have gone with the Potara, but they didn't have it on hand.

Just as they got into the pose for Fusion, Gas shot through the wall of the mountain, lariating the two of them through to the outside. "I won't allow you two to get the upper hand on me!" He screamed as he laughed at their pain. Creating a huge blade from his own ki, intent on killing the two helpless Saiyans.

"DO IT GAS!" Elec screamed in victory, glad that his plans had come to fruition. "END THEM ALL!"

Gas raised the weapon high, and started to bring them down when he was kicked away with such an impact that dust arose. Skidding to a halt by grinding his face on the ground, Gas groaned as he angrily looked at the perpetrator. "WHO DARES!" He yelled as he launched himself into the dust cloud, only to be promptly sent flying back out, shocking everyone.

Elec took a step back in fear since he knew that divine intervention had occurred. One of the limitations of the wish was that Gas couldn't be stronger than the Gods that ran the universe. And if they came here, that meant that these accursed Saiyans somehow had the Gods on their side.

"WHO ARE YOU!" Gas yelled.

The dust slowly began to settle as a figure began to be more visible. He wore a black shirt with long sleeves underneath a black and green new battle armour, along with red shinguards, red wristlets and a red headband. He bore a striking resemblance to Goku, or more accurately, Bardock.

"What the?" Gas muttered as the visage of the only person to beat him stood before his very self. "HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!" He screamed as he knew that the accursed Saiyan was killed by Frieza.

Bardock just smirked, "I have been told I defy fate." He spoke with confidence in his voice. "I would recommend leaving unless you want to die." He told Gas, and inadvertently, the Heeters as well.

Growling at such a command, Elec yelled, "GAS! KILL HIM!" They didn't need such a low-class Saiyan ordering them around when they were so close to getting what he wanted.

Gas was already rushing in before Elec could finish, however, he felt someone grab his neck from behind. Turning to look at the being who dared to put their hands on him, he was shocked to see it was Bardock. He looked back to the spot where Bardock was, and to his shock, he wasn't there.

'So fast…' He thought as he was slammed onto the ground with such force that he bounced before being kicked away.

Both Goku and Vegeta were in awe of the speed the newly arrive Saiyan had shown. Not only that, Bardock seemed to be hurting Gas, something the two couldn't even do. Using the moment to stand up, both Goku and Vegeta got into position to fuse again, only to be told off by Bardock. "Don't waste your energy doing the Metamol Fusion right now." He said as he threw a small sachet, which Goku caught. "Give this to that Cerealian kid, he needs it." He said as he grabbed the oncoming fist from Gas with ease. Goku and Vegeta knew what was in the sachet, a senzu bean, a magical item that could heal a person despite their injuries.

Squeezing the fist of the Heeter, Bardock threw him up and blasted off to reach behind and smashed Gas downward towards the planet, forming a large crater at the point of impact.

Using the moment of distraction, Goku and Vegeta teleported to Granolah where they found Monaito, the Namekian who lived on Planet Cereal and was a friend of Granolah, trying to heal the warrior. Rushing to his aid, Goku gave the old Namekian the sachet that contained the Senzu bean. "Give that to him." He said, "It should heal him to full health." They suddenly felt an explosion of ki occurring, and they knew it belonged to the enraged Heeter.

"I am going in to assist him!" Vegeta shouted as he blasted off to help Bardock.

"Somebody came to help us?" Monaito asked Goku.

"Yeah, somehow, my father is here." He said, shocking the Namekian. With that, Goku followed his Saiyan ally onto the battlefield.

Upon reaching there, they were surprised to see Gas underneath a huge ball of Ki, quite similar to Goku's own Spirit Bomb. They could sense the power emanating from it. They could also see Bardock, arms crossed as if this wasn't a huge threat to him. Even Elec, Macki and Oil were trembling in fear of the power Gas was showing yet Bardock wasn't even phased.

"TAKE THIS!" Without a second thought, Gas launched the attack at Bardock, the Saiyan just looking unimpressed at it. "Well, let's get this over with." He said as a yellow flare of aura engulfed him. The winds rose up as the aura grew, making it hard for all of them to even stand properly.

As the aura subsided, they could clearly see the yellow hair that was atop the Saiyan despite the light from the ki ball that was approaching him overpowering everything else. Rushing forward, Bardock engulfed his hand in ki as he collided with the attack.

Elec laughed at that, "What a fool." He started, "He's just like any other Saiyan, rushing head first into certain death, what a -" His words were cut off as he saw Gas' attack being pushed back.

Even Goku and Vegeta were surprised to see such a feat being performed. What was even more so was the fact that he didn't seem to be that strained doing so.

Gas, fearing for his life, started to push the attack back to Bardock, who just grinned and started to push even harder.

Slowly, but surely, the attack engulfed its creator, shooting far into the space above, killing Gas. Elec, not believing that his plans had failed, fell to his knees. He pounded the ground with his fist. "Why!" He shouted. "WHY WHY WHY! I WAS SO DAMN CLOSE!"

Macki looked concerned at her brother, "C'mon, we need to get out of here."

Looking angrily at his sister, Elec tried to attack her, but something got in the way. Looking angrily into his eyes was Granolah, the two red pupils filled with anger.

"Leave." He commanded, infuriating Elec even more.

In an attempt to kill Granolah, Elec launched himself at the Cerealian, only to be launched upwards by him. Charging energy into his hand and pointing it at the eldest Heeter like a gun, he launched a Charged Finger Beam.

Penetrating his chest, Granolah charged more energy, engulfing Elec and vaporizing him. As this ended, he breathed a sigh of relief that it was all over. Looking at the remaining two Heeters, he scowled, "I should kill you two right now as well." He threatened, "But, it's in the best interest of Cereal that you two live so you both can atone for your actions here."

Both Macki and Oil nodded somberly at that. While they did support Elec, they did not want to reach the extremes they did today.

Bardock smiled as he landed, another job well done. "How are you still alive?" He heard Vegeta ask him.

"That is a long story." He replied.

"Well, we seem to have the time now." Vegeta huffed.

(Monaito's House)

"Wow, a Time Patroller!" Goku said incredulously.

Bardock nodded at that, "Yeah, it's a hard job, however, this one was easy." He replied.

"Hard in what way?" Vegeta asked.

"Well, you know how I turned Super Saiyan to defeat Gas or whatever his name was?" Both Goku and Vegeta nodded, "I didn't have to turn Super Saiyan, I just wanted to show off my power since the idiot was getting on my nerves with how he said he was stronger."

Taking a small break, he continued, "And the people that are the main enemies of our group require even more power from me."

Vegeta spoke up at that, "I do wonder what your limit is. Do you have the God forms as well?"

Bardock replied, "Well, I don't fancy these God forms. That's more of Trunks' forte." This shocked both Goku and Vegeta. There were Trunks in the Time Patrollers as well?

"Trunks has a God form?" Vegeta asked, shocked at such a revelation.

"Yeah, he got it when the first Patrollers were facing Mechikabura." He told them. "Nasty dude. Could control time somewhat. It was thanks to Trunks sealing him in the eternal labyrinth with the help of the Ki sword that he was defeated."

Both Goku and Vegeta took time to digest this. There were threats far beyond their comprehension that they could not help with. Trying to change the mood, Goku asked, "Who did Trunks do the ritual with?"

"To be frank, it was extremely incidental that Trunks got Super Saiyan God since they didn't have any idea of that existing. As for the people who took part in it, well, they were Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Gohan and Pan." He replied, shocking them both.

Bardock stood up, ready to leave, "Well, I have to go in a few minutes." He looked at the two of them, "Remember to master your forms, and also, try to push further beyond your regular Super Saiyan forms as well, you don't know when you would need those as well, also, train harder now. I won't be there to save you again." He ended as he was teleported away.

Goku looked at his Saiyan friend, "Guess we better heed his words, right." He chuckled as Vegeta was deep in thought.

'Why did he say to push beyond our regular Saiyan forms?' He thought, 'Did the Time Patrollers find a form beyond Super Saiyan3?' He wondered. With a renewed determination, he grinned, nodding to Kakarot's word.

Chapter 1 is done and I have a couple of chapter ideas already planned for the next time I write. Also, RWBY reads the SCP story is still gonna continue, I just haven't had the proper mindset for it since I am swamped.
