Harper couldn't help but smile. What she was seeing standing before was a scene of happiness and "joy." Her two aunts and mother were holding up her birthday banner. Soon her smile faded away, she looked"ll" up at her aunts and mom.
"Harper, are you alright?",asked Sarah, her mother.
"Mother…I would like to have something different for my birthday.",said Harper.
Sarah turned her head in confusion. She looked over at her two sisters, Winifred and Mary.
"What do you mean my Midnight?",asked Sarah calling Harper .
"Midnight" is Harper's childhood nickname. Harper smiled remembering.
"I want to have a life like all of the other teenager have friends,go to school or hang out.",said Harper.
"Harper, you have a life here with us.",said Winifred..
"But Auntie Winifred, all the other kids my age play outside. I want to be around more people my age, Harper said.
Winifred grew annoyed.
"Harper Sanderson you have your mother, you have me and your Aunt Mary now stop complaining it's your birthday you shouldn't complain on your birthday!" Said Winifred
as Harper huffs in response while as Winifred hands Harper her green birthday cake for her while as Sarah complains to her sister that she should've been the one that disciplines Harper while as Harper ignores it so she could enjoy her birthday cake.
