Terry Silver stood in the bathroom leaning on the sink, gripping tightly onto the edges of the sink as he stared at himself in the mirror. He was sure he looked different, "Everyone would know just by looking at him" he thought, and what about when he started to loose his hair, then what? He wasn't sure he could look anyone in the eye when that happened. He wondered if Danny boy had ever wished for this to happen to him, he wondered if he would laugh if he ever found out the news, and what about Kreese how would he react? Surely he would be glad, because then he would certainly be the owner of cobra kai. It made him feel queezy as he thought of just how many people could possibly be glad of his death.
He grabbed the paper bag he'd gotten from the pharmacy full of his prescription medication and tipped all the plastic yellow tubs into the sink. His blue eyes went wide as rhey clattered into the sink and he saw just how many there were. What was this shit? What kinds of chemicals was he going to be putting into his athletic body? There was oral chemotherapy medicines, he hated those the most knowing they were what was going to make him loose his ponytail, his pride and joy, the thing he'd grown in remembrance and respect of a fallen veteran. There was pain meds, them he was grateful for, even though he put on a brave face the headaches were a killer and last but not least there was the anti-epileptic tablets, these were what worried him, wondering if seizures were a delight that he was going to experience in the future.
Silver tipped out the prescribed amount of each tablet into his hand after reading the back of each one. He couldn't believe just how many pills he would have to take. People would be able to tell that he was sick just by hearing him rattle from all the pills inside him. He tossed the pills into his mouth and threw his head back to swallow them.
Fully realising just how sick this was actually going to make him, Silver realised that it might be a good idea to get some help. It probably wasn't a smart idea to live in this big house on his own anymore. Silver didn't want to be caught off guard when he was unable to defend himself or weak with illness. Silver was cunning and clever, he thrived on being prepared for every possible outcome. If Danny and the rest of his team ever decided to confront him on his own turf then he would need a team, a team of karate masters. Some extra firepower just incase he wasn't at his best.
Leaving the bathroom, his head pounded. It felt like someone was hitting him repeatedly over the head with a hammer. He screwed his eyes shut then reopened them, in an attempt to clear his blurry eyesight caused by the pain. Pushing his worries to the back of his mind, he knew he needed to start arranging his security.
Staggering out of the bathroom door, hand across his forehead, he bumped into his butler.
"Are you ok sir?" He asked sounding concerned. Silver nodded, not one to want to confide in people. "You don't look well sir?" Silver signed with frustration, 'Great so if Milos could tell he didn't look well everyone else would too' He thought to himself.
"I've..errrr... had a diagnosis from the doctors" Silver began and started to explain what had happened at the doctor's surgery. It wasnt an ideal situation, he wasnt keen on telling anyone, telling people just made it seem all too real to him. But he did need someone to know, he needed someone to phone for help if he took a turn for the worst. He wouldn't let this beat him and he wouldn't give up without a fight. Silver would do everything in his power to make sure he got through this and achieve his legacy. He was cobra kai and he would make it world wide and nothing would stand in his way.
