A day out, With the Owl Familia:
Epilogue

With a tired sigh, Lilith leaned her head back against the couch. The ex-coven head was currently in Owl House filling out paperwork. Because of all the chaos of the last couple of days, she never got around to finishing Luz's residential forms.

Now, in addition to said forms, Lilith had to finish filling out Amity's adoption papers and look over the redesigns for the Owl House her father had made. It was the redesigns that were giving the former head witch the most trouble.

The way her father had made up the blueprints was just some added space so Luz could have a real room and a spare room for guests. But since Lilith was going to be moving in with her new daughter, they would need more space.

"There's no way I'm letting my daughter and niece share a room until they're married," Lilith said dryly.

Speaking of her daughter, Lilith's sharp hearing picked up the sounds of sniffing, and a second later, Amity walked into the living room, carrying her new plush toy. Though she was trying to put up a brave front, Lilith did see the remains of tears, and worry nearly filled her.

"Bad dreams, my sweet raven?" Lilith asked with a warm smile.

Again, Lilith could see her daughter put up a brave front by shaking her head no. The ex-witch head nearly chuckled under her breath at the overly cute sight and pushed herself to the corner. Amity didn't need to be told twice; she powered-walk to the couch and, after a short struggle, got onto it. The "knocked-down" witch snuggled into her mother's lap and hugged her plush toy tight to her body.

Lilith just continued smiling warmly at her daughter as she gently run a hand through her hair. She used a plant glyph to make a makeshift table and put the forms she was working on it.

That way she could still get her work done and give attention to Amity.

"Is that?" Amity asked after a few minutes of comfortable silence.

Lilith looked at the "knocked-down" witch and then followed her daughter's gaze. She was looking at Luz's residential forms, mainly her Hexside papers, and how all the tracks were listed on them.

Lilith noticed how intensely Amity was looking at the sheet and put the pieces together quickly.

"Dear, do you want to multi-track like your girlfriend?" Lilith asked warmly.

With a cute 'eep' and with her entire face turning red, a quirk Lilith now adores, Amity looked at her adoptive mother in uncertainty. Lilith just continue to smile warmly at her and Amity could feel some tension leave her.

"-Bawd," Amity finally said.

Lilith couldn't help but giggle, she should have expected that. Amity was good with a harp, so shouldn't be a surprise that she wanted to study that type of magic. Still, she could tell her daughter had something else in mind.

"Is there more, dear?" Lilith asked curiously.

Amity suddenly turned bashful as a light blush crossed the "knocked-down" witch's face. Lilith was patiently, silently urging her daughter while giving her the time to gather her courage.

"Potions!" Amity chirped suddenly, her blush covering her entire face.

Lilith gasped as a light blush appeared on her face, as she felt her heart filling with joy. A soft smile appeared on her face and she lightly caressed her daughter's cheek.

"Anything you want, dear," Lilith said softly and lovingly. "It's your life to live."

Amity's blush get ever deeper, but Lilith could see the tension had completely left her daughter. Amity suddenly let out a cute yawn and Lilith giggled at the sight. The ex-head helped her daughter get comfortable, and before either knew it, the "knocked-down" witch was sleeping soundly.

Lilith might have taken a picture of her cute daughter sucking her thumb, but she didn't have her camera and she needed to get her work done.

Still, as she began to fill out forms she couldn't help but think to herself; this wasn't the life she had longed for, but she wouldn't trade it for the world.

"This is where you've been all day, King," Eda said, as she finished changing into her usual night outfit.

The young titan snorted when he heard his mother's voice but otherwise didn't move from her nest. The wild witch just shrugged and got into bed. Thankfully, King left enough room for his mom to lie down. she was in the process of getting comfortable when she heard her door creak.

Eda grinned as she shifted her body slightly. She could hear the sound of feet running across her floor and her grin widen slightly. She suddenly shoot up and caught Luz just as she tried to jump on the younger Clawthorne.

"Mommy Edy, no faiw!" Luz pouted cutely.

Eda just cackled as she lowered herself back into her nest and helped her human daughter get comfortable. King must have sensed the extra body heat; he got closer and Luz wrapped her (currently) big brother in a hug as she let out a cute yawn.

"You know jumping on mama is a morning thing," the owl lady replied mirthfully, as she wrapped her kids in a blanket. "Now get some shut-eye, wichtlet; this day has been fun, but mama needs her beauty sleep."

Luz want to protest the witch could see it in her eyes. Thankful, the "knocked-down" human out another cute yawn, and her eyes grew heavy. She snuggled into King and allowed his body heat to send her into a deep sleep.

Eda smiled warmly as she gently wrapped her arm around her kids. "This is nice," she said contently, as she let the soft breathing of her kid put her to sleep. "Now all I need to plan that heist, and we can have "knocked-down" time every other weekend."
