The last few weeks had been more than a little confusing for Nino. Well, it had been confusing for everyone in their class. Chloe's transformation was as sudden as it was strange. It was hard to deny that she was trying to be nicer. And sometimes she failed, but the look on her face when she realized that was more earnest than anything she could fake. He had the discarded clips from an amateur movie to prove it.

It was a testament to Chloe's change that when she slid into Adrien's seat, he didn't feel compelled to run to safety.

"So…" Chloe said sharply. "You're Adrien's best guy friend."

Nino felt his stomach drop.

Chloe turned to look at him, resting her elbow on the desk and her cheek on her knuckles. "Just want a little clarification on that."

"Well, Adrien's uh… totally cool. So…" he steeled himself. "Of course I'm his best friend."

"His best guy friend." Chloe interjected.

Nino squeezed his teeth together. This was really happening.

Marinette and Alya froze as they watched the two. Under normal circumstances, they'd have already said something, but they were curious as to where this new Chloe would take it.

"So…" Nino asked, his voice guarded. "Why do you ask?"

"Because I'm Adrien's best friend." Chloe said. "And I'm a girl."

That last part threw everyone.

"What?" Nino asked.

"I get the feeling that Adrien doesn't talk to me as much as he… could? Wants to? I don't know. So I figured it was just reserved for guy talk."

This was not the direction Nino had expected the conversation to go. But he had only one response.

"I know right?" he said. "He thinks I don't notice, but I can obviously tell when there's something on his mind he's not sharing."

"So he does it to you too?" Chloe asked. "Dammit."

"Who knows," Nino said. "Maybe that's just rich people talk he only shares with you."

Chloe flicked her hair. "Well, I am an incredible conversationalist."

"And I won an MTV award." Nino retorted.

"Oh? Good for you." Chloe replied.

"That was the exact same reaction Adrien had."

"So… what do you talk about?" Chloe asked.

"Well," Nino said. "Guy stuff. What do you talk about?"

Chloe stared at Nino, but he had a feeling she wasn't seeing him. "Rich people stuff." She slid out of the chair. "Thank you."

As she left, Nino began to look at the girls behind him before Chloe suddenly slid back into the seat.

"And I'm Adrien's best friend." She slid out and went back to her seat.

Nino looked at the girls. "What?"

Alya shrugged. Then she looked at Marinette.

"I don't know." She admitted.

Chat Noir laid lazily on the railing of the Eiffel Tower. "So… how have you been?" He asked.

"Confused." Ladybug admitted. She was sitting on the railing next to him.

"Confused how?" Chat asked.

"I'm not sure I can tell you," She admitted.

Chat flipped so that he was on his feet. "But I'm your closest and dearest partner."

"Well it's been brought to my attention that we don't always share everything with all our friends."

Chat seemed to sag before shrugging. "Yeah I can see that. No way I can talk about Superhero stuff with my best friends." He dropped down next to her. "Good thing I have my lady to keep me company."

Ladybug laughed and rubbed his head. "Good kitty."

Shorter chapter than normal, but it's a simpler conflict than normal. Don't worry, Chloe's little redemption is gonna get a shake-up I've been wanting to write for a while soon.

Well, those last few episodes happened. Never thought I'd see Ladybug and Chat Noir get hit with the Infinite Tsukuyomi (The story potential there is honestly staggering, even though I am 99% confident the show won't do anything with the fact that its main characters remember getting into a relationship, getting married and having several children and then had it taken away from them). And we get more confirmation canon Chloe will sooner die than back down which and Andre will sooner die than put his foot down with his spoiled brat.
