ACxOCU Ch 29. A Very Unaverage Night.
Somewhere in the realm between universes.
(Mathias is sitting down, legs crossed in meditation.)
"Is it working?" Asks Robot Brian breaking Mathias's concentration.
"Not if you keep asking me every five minutes!" Snarls Mathias in annoyance.
"Bah, how is this even supposed to work anyways?" Asks Robot Brian pacing back and forth.
"As I told you that girl is the exodus of evocation." Replies Mathias
"Oh wow thanks, that's totally helpful." Says Robot Brian sarcastically.
"You're welcome now, be quiet, I'm trying to concentrate." Says Mathias closing his eyes again.
The scene changes to Chris and Menthis's apartment.
"Such a great day!" Declares Menthis coming back into the apartment from his date, "Imma go pass out." Yawns Menthis as he goes into the bedroom and lays on the bed closing his eyes.
(Suddenly Menthis's eyes open but they look empty; he slowly rolls over and gets up. He stumbles towards the dresser almost falling over; he catches himself on it managing to pull himself up then smiles seeing himself. He then walks towards the window, opens it up then heads down the fire escape and heads off into town.)
Behind him there's a black van, "I've got eyes on him." Junior says taking a bite of a turkey bacon and peanut butter sandwich watching Menthis on a monitor inside.
"Did you really need to bring a sandwich in here?" Asks Stewie in annoyance.
"It's just a small snack." Replies Junior taking another bite.
"Small? It looks like it was made by Shaggy from Scooby-Doo!" Exclaims Stewie.
"We'll agree to disagree, let's go, he's on the move." Says Junior taking another.
"Whatever raggy." Says Stewie starting up the van.
(Menthis makes it to Sarah's house and knocks.)
"Menthis why are you here?" Asks Sarah rubbing her eyes.
"Awe I just wanted to see my little pupaid." Menthis.
(Suddenly Sarah's eyes gloss over in a trance-like state.)
"Come on, we need to make some changes." Menthis says pushing past her heading into the back room then he begins to dig in her desk drawers, "Where is it? Ah there it." Pulling out an amulet. He then turns around and walks over to Sarah and puts the amulet on her.
(Her skin begins to turn a pale blue color.)
"Sit." Menthis orders her, pointing at the sofa.
(Sarah sits down.)
"Sarah, I'm going to ask you some questions." Menthis says with a smile sitting down next to her, "Do you love Menthis?"
"Yes…but I don't why…" Replies Sarah in a monotone voice.
"Good I want you to push back any doubts or hesitation you have." Says Menthis, "I want you to spend as much time with him as possible okay"
"Okay…" replies Sarah.
"Do you like the amulet?" Asks Menthis.
"I don't know…." Replies Sarah.
"You do, and you'll always wear it, never take it off. If you see your skin you won't question the color and will do your best to hide the amulet." Menthis says with a knowing smile.
"Okay…." Replies Sarah.
"Perfect." Says Menthis still smiling, "You're going to do wonderfully."
(Menthis snaps his fingers bringing Sarah back.)
"Thank you for the chat. I always feel so safe with you." Menthis says smiling at her and they hug with her none the wiser about what just happened.
(Suddenly there's a knock at the door.)
"So many people today." Says Sarah as she going to get the door.
"Hi." Says Junior with a wave.
"What do you want?" Asks Sarah.
"Yeah well um… Chris said Menthis might be here so I came here to pick him up." Replies Junior nervously.
*Thanks man I totally forgot I asked you." Lies Menthis.
"Right…. let's get going then." Replies Junior.
"What's your game?" Asks Junior as they get to the van.
"Oh whatever do you mean?" Menthis replies innocently.
"Cut the shit I know what's going on." Replies Junior angrily.
"Oh you do now do you?" Asks Menthis turning towards Junior.
(Suddenly Menthis rushes at Junior grabbing him by the throat pushing him into the side of the van pressing into his windpipe.)
"This is the last time you'll stand between me and my goals, prepare to die." Says Menthis angrily pressing harder into Junior's windpipe.
(As Junior's vision begins to blur Stewie comes out from behind the van grabbing a branch of the ground and swings it at Menthis's head knocking him out.)
"Seriously fuck that guy." Says Junior clutching his throat and breathing heavily.
"I don't know why we don't just kill this guy." Stewie says in annoyance.
"Because to stop him we'd have to kill both, ugh this is so annoying we locked him outside the multiverse and he still comes back. So I'd assume it's safe to say we kill Menthis, Mathias already has a backup plan we just need to be patient doing whatever we can to stop him from fully possessing Menthis." Sighs Junior.
"Let's get him home and we'll keep watching then figure it out from there." Says Stewie throwing Menthis into the back of the van.

Mathias opens his eyes, "Those bastards!"
"What did you not get her to wear the amulet?" Asks Robot Brian.
"Oh I did but two of them have already begun to suspect something and I'm sure it won't be long before the rest do too." Says Mathias angrily, "Oh but when I finally get out of here I'm going to murder them their family their friends and anyone they've ever cared about!"
