Ichigo traveled through the Garganta, using the memories given to him by Earth-sama to find his way. It didn't take long before he sensed he was at the end of his journey.
"Engulf the light and plunge the world in darkness, Nightshroud." Ichigo chanted, activating Schrift U: The Umbra. A suit of black armor appeared on him. As soon as the Garganta opened, Ichigo dove into the shadows. The Garganta immediately closed itself. From the shadows, Ichigo could see he was in a forest. The trees were pale white with black leaves. Ichigo looked at the sky to see it was hazy, making the sky appear red.
"Ichigo, the ambient energy around us is putting Schrift U's reiatsu production and Schrift Q's demonic energy on overdrive, while holy energy production from Schrift S's has reduced," Kyōka said.
"Is that a good or bad thing?" Ichigo asked.
"Both," Kyōka replied. "Schrift Q and Schrift U will be forced to compress the excess energy, causing it much more concentrated than before, until the Schrifts can expand.
This will cause your darkness-attributed attacks and demonic attacks much stronger. But can lead to an imbalance in the future."
"Schrift I: Impartial Impedimenta should be able to help prevent that from happening," Ichigo said.
"Ok. I will keep an eye out." Kyōka said. Ichigo sent a small wave of reiatsu, finding that the forest was mostly uninhabited, except for a small village near the edge of the forest. Ichigo used Shadowrun to quickly traverse through the shadows until he reached the village. The village was made mostly of the white wood Ichigo saw from the forest. Ichigo could see the residents appeared humanoid with pale-skinned, purple hair of different lengths, large red eyes, red tribal markings around their eyes, and pronounced canines.
"I need more information." Ichigo thought as he began to cast a weak form of Legilimency on everyone he passed. The gathered information is given to Chishiki to process. In the far distance, he could see a large black tower.
"I have formed a few conclusions based on the information we gathered so far," Chishiki said.
"Let's hear it," Ichigo said as he continued to explore the village.
"The village that we are in is called Mellow Hills. The current residents are either women, kids, elderly or crippled. All the men have been drafted by King Genghis, also known as The Overlord of Darkness, the Father of Demons. The older residents in the village don't support the idea of the Overlord but are forced to keep their mouths shut because of speculations that King Genghis can hear everyone from his throne room, which is located on top of the Dark Tower, the name of the black tower you spotted." Chishiki said.
"So that tower is our end goal," Ichigo concluded. Ichigo found an unconscious demon man with short purple hair. He wore a badly torn shirt and trousers. He was also barefooted. Ichigo could see he was missing his left arm. Ichigo looked at the demon and activated Schrift Q: The Qliphoth.
"Sathariel," Ichigo mentally cast. He could feel a copy of the demon's soul being created inside the Schrift. Ichigo looked through his memories. He learned that this Demon's name was Dante. He lost his left arm and right eye when he was fighting in a dungeon, but he was able to kill all the Hunters. According to his fellow Demons, missing an arm and eye was enough to be considered crippled. He received his severance pay and returned to Mellow Hills. When he returned, his fiancé decided to abandon him because he was crippled, which caused him to go drink into despair. Ichigo quickly left the village. Once he was alone, Ichigo rose out of the shadow and used Sathariel to transform into Dante but with his missing arm and eye. He was dressed in a short-sleeve white button-up shirt, brown trousers, and brown boots. Ichigo summoned Kokugatsu and used Sathariel to make it resemble Dante's broadsword.
"According to Dante's memories, there is an established path from the Dark Tower to Mellow Hill. It took him two weeks of walking." Chishiki reported. "Are you planning to use Shadowrun to head straight to the Dark Tower?" Chishiki asked.
"Not yet," Ichigo said. "I want to see if the rest of the people in this world also dislikes the Overlord," Ichigo said.
"Very well," Chishiki said. Chishiki began to guide Ichigo down the beaten dirt path. Three days later Ichigo arrived in front of Evernight Forest. Ichigo crossed through two other villages called Nordberg and Greenvale. Ichigo casually walked around the villages and used Legilimency to get the opinions of the locals. Ichigo discovered that they overall shared the same opinions as Mellow Hill.
"Evernight Forest is inhabited by a subspecies of elves called Drows. They have dark purple skin and white-haired, and muscular bodies. The Drows live in seclusion, forming their village in the middle of the Evernight Forest called Evernight Village. They are relatively civilized species and only attack if provoked. The forest is also the home of Wolves and Werewolves. The Werewolves are the leaders of the pack of Wolves. They are violent to everyone except for those in their pack." Chishiki reported.
"Thank you for the info," Ichigo replied as he entered the Evernight Forest. Ichigo stumbled on a pack of wolves, led by a werewolf. The wolves appeared similar to regular wolves on Earth, but their fur is dark purple with a white stripe from their muzzle to the end of their tail. The eyes of the Wolves were a dull golden color. As for the werewolf, it stood like a human. The fur was also dark purple, but the white stripe changed to a tribal pattern that started from the muzzle and flowed all over the forearm, chest, and hind legs. The eyes of the Werewolf were a brighter amber color. The Werewolf's body was much more muscular compared with the Wolves. The werewolf growled and pointed at Ichigo. The Wolves rushed towards Ichigo. Ichigo easily decapitated the wolves with a simple swing of Kokugatsu. The Werewolf let out a loud howl and charged toward Ichigo, despite seeing how easily he destroyed his pack. The Werewolf tried to slash Ichigo with its claws. Only for Ichigo to step to the side. The Werewolf lost its balance, allowing Ichigo to raise Kokugatsu and decapitate the werewolf. Blood littered the entire area from the combat.
"Chishiki, do you want to devour the werewolf?" Ichigo asked.
"And one of the regular wolfs." Chishiki requested. Two black tentacles shot out and pierced the corpse of the werewolf and one of the larger wolfs. The tentacles began to absorb them. Suddenly Ichigo could feel Schrift O: The Oversoul activating.
"Ichigo, Schrift O is trying to absorb the soul of the werewolf," Kyōka reported.
"It's been a while since Schrift O absorbed a soul." Ichigo thought.
"Correction. This is the first time Schrift O would be absorbing a new soul. All the other souls were when it was Schrift S: The Shifter." Yhwach said.
"I'm pretty sure I a few more things since but why it is activating now?" Ichigo thought.
"Maybe Schrift O is picky on the souls it is willing to absorb." Yhwach theorized.
"Naamah, allow Schrift O to absorb the soul. We can find another one to extract its memories." Ichigo decided.
"Yes Master," Naamah replied. Ichigo could feel the Werewolf's soul enter Schrift O. Ichigo used Schrift F: Fengári Neró to gather all the blood from the corpse and destroyed it by using Schrift H:The Hakaimono. After that, Ichigo placed the bloodless corpses in his storage ring. Ichigo continued to traverse through Evernight Forest. Ichigo encountered another pack of wolves, led by another werewolf. They noticed that this werewolf's tribal pattern was smaller than the first one. Not only that, but this werewolf was also less muscular. The werewolf ordered the pack to attack Ichigo. Ichigo once again decapitated all the wolfs. The werewolf saw easily its pack was decimated and tried to run away. Ichigo threw Kokugatsu at the werewolf. Kokugatsu flew through the air and pierced through the werewolf's heart. The force caused the werewolf to stumble and fall. Ichigo calmly walked to the fallen werewolf, pulled Kokugatsu out, and decapitated it. Ichigo allowed Naamah and Chishiki to harvest the werewolf's soul.
"I believe Schrift O: The Oversoul would only absorb powerful souls that are near or at their peak." Yhwach theorized.
"I agree with the theory," Chishiki added. Ichigo once again clean up the area and stored the dead wolves. After a few hours of walking and slaughtering wolves, Ichigo arrived in front of a wooden wall. Ichigo could see a gate guarded by armored Drows.
"Toll." The guards said, sticking out his hand. Ichigo pulled out a few silver coins and handed them to the guards. "You may enter." He said. Ichigo walked into Evernight Village. Ichigo found the butcher and sold all corpses for 10 silver coins. After that, Ichigo began to explore the Evernight Village and used Legilimency to gather everyone's opinion on King Genghis. Suddenly Kyōka interjected, interrupting Ichigo's intelligence gathering.
"Ichigo, the Planetary Core Communicator is activating."
"It is? Direct me to the source." Ichigo replied as he stopped using Legilimency. He followed Kyōka's instructions and eventually arrived in front of a shrine.
"Are you planning to enter?" Kyōka asked.
"Not yet. I need more information." Ichigo replied. Ichigo walked away from the shrine. He resumed his information collection, focusing on the shine. The shrine is known as The Evernight Shrine. The shrine was erected in honor of a Goddess the Drows dubbed as Evernight Goddess. According to their lore, the Evernight Goddess was the one who created the world. Visitors are allowed to pray to the Evernight Goddess if they offer her a sacrifice. Just like the villagers, the Drows also didn't like King Genghis. Ichigo ventured back out and hunted a few more wolf packs. This time Ichigo didn't separate the blood from the corpse. Ichigo stored the corpses in his mindscape. Ichigo cleaned himself before walking over to the Evernight Shrine. Ichigo could see a Drow cleaning the shrine.
"Welcome to the Evernight Shrine. I am the Priestess that maintains this Shrine." The Drow Priestess greeted him. She looked similar to the rest of the Drows he have seen but she was dressed in black robes and carried a black staff. "What can I do for you?"
"Hello. I wish to make an offering to the Evernight Goddess." Ichigo answered.
"What do you wish to offer to the Evernight Goddess?" She asked.
"I wish to offer her wolves that I personally slew. In exchange for safe travels." Ichigo replied.
"Very well. Follow me." Ichigo followed behind her. They arrived in a small chamber. Ichigo could see a large golden statue depicting the image of a seductive female elf. The statue has red gemstones for her eyes. In front of the statue was a hearth with a blazing black fire.
"Place your offering in the hearth and pray to the Goddess." The Drow Priestess instructed. Ichigo summoned the wolves' and werewolves' bloody corpses out of his mindscape and placed all of them into the hearth. The black fire shot up, devouring the offering. Ichigo kneeled down in front of the hearth.
"I wish to speak with the Planetary Core of this Planet." Ichigo prayed. The Planetary Core Communicator, in Ichigo's pocket, began to activate. Ichigo could feel his mind being sent somewhere else.
Scene Change: Mind of the Planet
Ichigo opened his eyes to see he was in a bedroom of some kind. Ichigo could see a naked elf laying on the bed. She had dark purple skin, large dark red eyes, white eye markings, and platinum white hair. Her body looked like a seductress body.
"It's been a long time since someone requested to speak to me as the Planetary Core." She said. "Though this is the first time someone that isn't my child came to speak to me." Ichigo looked to see he was himself, not Dante.
"Do you have a name that I can call you?" Ichigo asked.
"Call me Evernight." She said.
"In that case, my name is Ichigo." He replied. "I am a human from the world that the Overlord is currently invading," Ichigo said.
"So, young Ichigo, what do you want with me?" She asked with a playful seductive smirk.
"I was wondering if you are allied with King Genghis," Ichigo asked. The playful seductive smirk on her face immediately vanished.
"Allied…with Genghis?" Evernight mumbled. Ichigo could sense Evernight's rage and anger leak out of her body. "That bastard ruined I made everything! EVERYTHING!"
"You hate him?" Ichigo asked.
"Oh." Evernight chuckled. "I don't hate him." She said. "I DESPITE THAT FUCKER!" She yelled, causing a massive explosion of energy. "That fucking abomination randomly got reincarnated here from another world; with his past memories."
"So, being isekaied is real?" Ichigo thought.
"That fucker decided that this world is his own for the taking! He somehow fucking corrupted majority of the planet and most of my people with his corrupted magic!" Evernight continued.
"Do you wish to ally yourself with my world?" Ichigo asked. The question stopped Evernight before she continued her tirade about Genghis. Evernight opened and closed her mouth, trying to form her reply.
"Will my children be allowed to live there and have independence?" Evernight asked.
"Who are your children?" Ichigo asked. Evernight snapped her fingers. A screen appeared in front of him. The screen showed the Evernight Village before changing to the various demon villages he encountered.
"The Drows and the Demons that you encountered are my intelligent children." The screen changed to reveal the animals in the Evernight Forest. " The unintelligent animals are also my children." The screen changed again. This time it was inside the Overlord's castle. Ichigo could see demons, drows, and hags patrolling the area. Ichigo could see they different compared the demons and drows Ichigo saw earlier. These ones appeared physically stronger than before. "The bastard's magic corrupted my children, making them devoted soldiers to him."
"Your children will have their independence and their basic rights if they are willing to follow our rules. Your unintelligent children can be domesticated to obey my rules." Ichigo replied. Evernight stared at Ichigo.
"How will you transport all of us?" She asked.
"I can store all of your children in my pocket dimension," Ichigo said.
"You have one?" She asked.
"I do," Ichigo replied.
"How big is it?" She asked.
"Let me see if I can send us in there," Ichigo said as he activated Tengan, transforming his eyes.
"Haōgan." Ichigo activated, sending both of them into Haō Zaimushō [Treasury of the Supreme King].
Scene Change: Haō Zaimushō
Ichigo and Evernight appeared in Haō Zaimushō.
"Will this place work?" Ichigo asked.
"Am I the only world you are going to?" She asked.
"No. I expect at most five worlds, including yours." Ichigo said.
"Hm…" Evernight mumbled. "I can make this work," she concluded. "I can separate the corrupted portion of my planet. I can covert the majority of the planet into energy and store it inside myself for later use. I can keep the remaining portion to be used as floating islands for my followers."
"Great," Ichigo said. "When I confront Genghis, do you know a way to hide us from them?" Ichigo asked.
"You mean the Dokkaebi?" She asked.
"Correct," Ichigo replied. "I wouldn't be surprised if the Dokkaebi attacks us for killing his client."
"That makes sense. Unfortunately, I don't." Evernight replied.
"You could use Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai [Spatial Domination] to prevent anyone from teleporting to the planet." Yhwach suggested.
"That might work." Ichigo replied.
"Do you think if we create a spatial distortion around the castle, it will prevent them from noticing us?" Ichigo asked.
"Possible." Evernight replied. "When will you confront that bastard?" She asked.
"Maybe in 11 days?" Ichigo guessed.
"Pray to me before you confront him." She said. "I can use the time to discreetly prepare my children." She said.
"Good," Ichigo said as he sent both of them out of Haō Zaimushō.
Scene Change: Mind of the Planet
Ichigo appeared back in Evernight's bedroom.
"Any questions on the plan?" Ichigo asked.
"I don't," Evernight replied. Ichigo left her bedroom.
Scene Change: Outside
Ichigo opened his eyes.
"Are you done praying to Goddess Evernight?" The Drow Priestess asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied. He took out two gold coins and handed them to the Priestess. Her eyes widen upon seeing the coins.
"I-I," She stumbled.
"Please accept this donation." Ichigo grabbed her surprisingly soft hands and placed the gold coins in her hand. He gently forced her hand closed. Ichigo walked away from the Evernight Shrine. Ichigo rented a room in an inn for the night and had a quick dinner. Ichigo pulled out the map.
"The next part of the journey is the Hag's Bog." Ichigo thought.
"The Hag's Bog is a large swamp. It is the home of the Hags, female witches who have been corrupted by the essence of King Genghis. They are experts in illusions, making them appear like a beautiful woman. Their real appearance appeared ugly and slatternly. Every time Dante crossed the Hag's Bog, he would have to pay a toll, either coins or female war slaves." Chishiki reported.
"Are you planning to kill them?" Zangetsu asked.
"I want to," Ichigo admitted. "But it might alert Genghis about us." Ichigo considered.
"Best bet is to just go to the Hag's Bog and see the situation," Kyōka said.
"Fine," Zangetsu said. Ichigo went to bed with a plan in mind.
Time Skip: Next Day
Ichigo woke up the next morning. After a quick breakfast, he left the Evernight Village. As he traversed through the forest, Ichigo continued to kill packs of wolves and werewolves. Ichigo could smell a horrid stench as he continued on his path.
"That smells like the Hag's Bog," Chishiki reported. Ichigo arrived at a large swamp. In the distance, Ichigo spotted a wooden shack. "That the Hag's toll booth,"Chishiki identified. Ichigo used Schrift U: The Umbra and dove into the shadow. He peeked inside the toll to see two Hags sleeping inside the toll booth. Ichigo looked at one of the hags and Ichigo activated Schrift Q: The Qlippoth.
"Sathariel," Ichigo mentally cast as he created a copy of her soul, which Naamah used to look into her memories.
"The Hags used to be witches from other worlds that the Overlords defeated. Genghis injected them with his corruptive energy and transformed them into the first generation of Hags. Later on, the Hags would take charge of converting the captured witches into new hags. Captured wizards are bounded by slave collars and used as ingredients for their rituals. Genghis allowed half the Hags to live in Hag's Bog while the other half was a part of his army. Those who are at Hag's Bog are in charge of creating potions for the army, food, and slave collars. Despite how important the Hags are to Diabond's army, he doesn't keep a close eye on them. Because he believed if they failed to defend themselves in their home, what're their uses in combat."Naamah reported from the Hag's memories.
"I think it would be safe to ignore them," Ichigo said.
"Second," Kyōka said. Ichigo returned to the shadows and slipped past the Hag's Bog. Once he was past the Hag's Bog, Ichigo rose out of the shadow and continued his journey.
"The Golden Mountain is the home of the Duergar, who were once regular dwarfs who have been corrupted by Genghis's essence. They use the Hag's slave collars on male humans and inexperienced or crippled dwarf war slaves to mine for ores. The dwarfs that know how to blacksmith have to work as the blacksmith making weapons and armor for Genghis's army. The female dwarf war slaves are used by the Drudgers to produce more drudgers.The drudgers are greedy but fair creatures. Despite being creations of Genghis, they treat everyone the same."Chishiki said as Ichigo approached the Golden Mountain. Ichigo could see a large cave with two duergar guards standing at the mouth of the cave.
"Toll." The duergar guards said. Ichigo paid them a few silver coins. "Enter." The guard said. Ichigo walked deeper into the cave. Ichigo soon arrived in a stone town with a sign that read 'Golden Town'. Ichigo found the butcher and sold all corpses for 60 silver. Ichigo walked around Golden Town and found their opinion on Genghis.
"Seems like the drudgers are indifferent towards Genghis. They work for him because he pays them." Ichigo concluded.
"Remind me of the Goblins from Gringotts," Mysteria mentioned. Ichigo spent two days in Golden Town before he crossed a cavern that lead him straight through the mountain. When he exited the mountain, Ichigo could see the Black Tower, standing there in its ominous glory. Below the tower, Ichigo could see a large Black Castle around the Tower. In front of the castle was a large graveyard with an army of undead standby.
"The Dark Tower is where Genghis reside. Demons, Drows, and Duergars reside inside the Black Castle. Outside the Castle, is the Graveyard where the Hags, Goblins, and Ogres reside. They use the corpse of allies and enemies to create an undead army." Chishiki reported.
"Evernight, are you ready?" Ichigo asked.
"I am." She replied. Yhwach appeared beside Ichigo and activated Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai. The space surrounding the castle began to distort. From a quick glance, the castle appeared normal.
"The space around the castle is under our control." Yhwach said.
"Keter, are you ready?" Ichigo asked.
"I am ready to serve, my Master," Keter replied. Ichigo sealed Schrift U: The Umbra and activated Schrift S: The Sephira.
"Keter, Geburah, and Malkuth."Ichigo said. A golden crown appeared on his head which turned his orange hair golden, a large red & black halberd appeared in his hand, and a golden suit of armor appeared over his clothes. Yhwach hid behind the tree as Ichigo walked towards the graveyard.
"HALT!" The guards posted in front of the graveyard yelled. Ichigo continued to approach. "This is your last warning, HALT!" Ichigo raised Geburah, which lit itself on fire with red holy flames. "ATTACK!" The guards, armed with their spears, charged toward Ichigo. He replied by swinging Geburah down in front of him, sending a wave of holy flames at the incoming guards. The guards narrowly avoided Geburah's Holy Flames. The gate that they guarded was another story. The Holy Flame obliterated the gate that they were supposed to guard. Ichigo calmly walked past the guards. One of the guards stood up and tried to attack Ichigo.
"How dare you!" Keter roared in anger. She activated Malkuth's ability. Pieces of the golden armor detached themselves, forming four golden swords with feather-shaped handguards. Two of the golden swords pierced through the incoming guard. The other golden swords pointed at the other guards, seeing if they would try to attack Ichigo. None of the guards moved. Some of them dropped their weapons and raised their hands up, surrendering to Ichigo. The two golden swords flew back to Ichigo with the dead guard still on their blade. "How dare they try to attack Master when he granted them the gift of Mercy."
"Thank you," Ichigo said to Keter.
"No need Master. I am simply doing my job." She said.
"I will activate Sathariel so Naamah can extract the information out of the guard. Please don't fight the energy. This also goes to you as well Naamah." Ichigo said.
"Yes, Master." They replied. Ichigo activated Schrift Q: The Qliphoth. He could feel Schrift I: Impartial Impedimenta passively activated, allowing both Schrift S: The Sephira and Schrift Q: The Qliphoth to be active at the same time; despite them being opposing energies. Chishiki's black tentacles reached out of the shadows and grabbed the bodies for herself and Naamah to deal with. Ichigo walked past the surrendered guards. They immediately ran away from the castle.
"Should I kill them?" Keter asked.
"No need," Ichigo replied as he entered the Graveyard. In the distance, Ichigo could see Hags glowing with energy as they were chanting a spell. In the meantime, the large army of undead, goblins, and ogres charged toward them. Ichigo walked towards the incoming army while swinging Geburah, unleashing waves of Holy Fire. The golden swords, controlled by Keter, flew towards the Hags in the rear. All the Hags began to attack the incoming swords. The holy swords ignored the spells and pierced through four of the Hags. The other Hags tried to run away but to no avail. The golden swords pierced through the other Hags, making them look like a skewer. Keter gave them to Naamah to deal with. It didn't take them long before Ichigo stood in front of the door to the Black Castle. Behind him were piles of ashes. Ichigo swung Geburah at the door. The door violently shook from the blow, but it remained standing.
"Do you want me to destroy this door?" Keter asked.
"Not yet," Ichigo replied as he raised Geburah. Geburah grew slightly larger as it unleashed more Holy Flames. Ichigo swung the enlarged Geburah at the door. This time Geburah pierced through the door. Ichigo pulled Geburah out of the door and kicked the remaining parts of the door. The wooden door was torn off its hinges. Ichigo walked inside to see an army of Demons, Drows, and Duergars.
"KILL THE INVADER!" A well-armored Demon ordered
"For King Genghis!" The rest of the army roared and charged toward them.
"Keter capture that leader," Ichigo ordered.
"Yes, My Master," Keter replied as the golden swords flew towards the leader. Geburah shrank down to its original size as Ichigo calmly walked toward the army. The army quickly circled him and moved towards the middle. Ichigo raised Geburah and calmly began to fight them. "I captured him," Keter reported a few minutes later.
"Ok," Ichigo said.
"Camael's Hurricane!" Ichigo said as he gripped Geburah tightly and began to rapidly spin, forming a flaming hurricane. The army realized their mistake and tried to run away but Camael's Hurricane was too strong, pulling them all into the hurricane. Ichigo stopped the hurricane, leaving the chamber covered in ashes.
"According to the leader's memories, we need to go to the top of the castle where there is a portal that takes us to the throne room where Genghis is at. The Elite Guard, which consists of stronger Demons and Drows, is tasked with guarding the portal." Chishiki reported after Keter handed the leader to Naamah.
"Ok then," Ichigo said.
"Allow me to guide you." She said. Ichigo followed Chishiki's instructions and arrived in front of a portal. Ichigo could see the Elite Guard standing there, ready to defend the portal.
"DIE INVADER!" A drow yelled as he charged toward Ichigo. Ichigo swung Geburah down, bisecting the oncoming drow. Ichigo glanced at the incoming Elite Guard as they fearlessly charged toward Ichigo.
"Keter, capture the leader," Ichigo asked.
"Yes, Master," Keter replied as the golden swords flew towards an armored demon next to the portal. The leader drew her blade and defended herself against the golden swords. Ichigo casually swung Geburah and incinerated some of the Elite Guards. Ichigo looked to see the demon had the golden swords sticking out of her body. "I've finished, Master." She said.
"Good," Ichigo said as he swung Geburah one more time, incinerating the last of the Elite Guards.
"It appears that there is no additional safeguard for us," Naamah reported once she looked at the demon's memories. Keter had the golden swords reattach themselves to Ichigo. Ichigo sealed Schrift I: Impartial Impedimenta and Schrift Q: The Qliphoth. After that, he entered the portal.
Ichigo arrived to see a muscular man sitting on a throne. He has pale gray skin, sharp yellow eyes with black sclera, and sharp noes. He has a thin horseshoe-style mustache around his mouth. He wore a black suit of armor with black boots.
"It seems my army failed to stop a single invader," Genghis growled, his annoyance clearly showing. "Who are you, invader?"
"My name doesn't matter," Ichigo replied.
"Well then," Genghis stood up and drew his large broadsword. "Prepare to die!" He yelled as he charged at Ichigo. Ichigo blocked Genghis's first strike with Geburah.
"I have the spacial distortion barrier surrounding the planet," Evernight said.
"Ok, start when we disappear," Ichigo said to Evernight.
"Keter, are you ready?" Ichigo asked, switching communication channels.
"I am," Keter replied.
"Schrift R: The Reality Marble, Open the gate to Shamayim [Heaven]!" Ichigo and Keter shouted in unison. A seal made from holy energy appeared around them, blinding them with holy light.
Scene Change: Shamayim, Schrift S: The Sephira's Reality Marble
Ichigo opened his eyes to see he was standing on top of a balcony. Ichigo looked to see the balcony was attached to a golden castle. Ichigo looked around to see he was on a peaceful grassy plain. The sky was clear of any clouds and the sun was shining brightly.
"As long as we are inside Shamayim, you have access to unlimited holy energy, but you can't use any other abilities except for mine. Not only that, but demonic abilities are also greatly weakened inside here." Keter mentioned.
"Thank you for the reminder," Ichigo said as he continued to enjoy the scene.
"RAHAHAHA!" Ichigo's peaceful scene was interrupted by someone screaming. Ichigo turned to see Genghis yelling, trying to cover his face with his arms. Ichigo could see black smoke coming off of his body. Ichigo jumped off the balcony and landed in front of him. Genghis managed to get a cloak made of shadows to cover his exposed skin, stopping him from being incinerated by the sunlight.
"So, Overlord of Darkness," Ichigo began. "How do you enjoy the light."
"So, you know my moniker." He growled in anger as his broadsword reappeared in his hand.
"I do," Ichigo replied as he pointed Geburah at him. "And I am here to kill you." Ichigo charged toward Genghis and swung Geburah down at him.
"Are you a survivor from one of the worlds we conquered?" Genghis asked as he blocked Ichigo's attack.
"And if I am?" Ichigo lied as he put more pressure on Geburah.
"It's just hilarious that you had this much power, yet your world fell to us." He said.
"Who said this is all my power?" Ichigo asked as he poured more Holy energy into Geburah, causing Geburah to grow bigger than before. Genghis's legs began to shake, from Geburah's increased weight. Ichigo suddenly raised Geburah and swung sideways, sending Genghis flying. Genghis slammed his broadsword down, stopping himself from moving back further. Ichigo raised Geburah in the air. He held Geburah's shaft with both hands.
"Camael's Divine Punishment." Geburah began to transform, growing bigger. The flames around Geburah turned bluish white. "Calamity Execution!" Ichigo yelled as he swung the oversize bluish white Geburah down at Genghis. His eyes widen as he tried to run away. He glanced back to see Geburah still falling at him.
"DAM IT!" He yelled as he continued to run away. Geburah landed, unleashing a massive explosion of bluish-white flames. Geburah returned to its original size. Ichigo walked towards the impact zone, which was still on fire. He raised Geburah in the air. Geburah began to devour all the leftover holy flames from the attack. Ichigo arrived to see a severely charred Genghis. All his clothing and armor have been incinerated. His skin is now burnt black. Despite the damage, he was still barely alive.
"Keter, I am going to switch from Shamayim to Abaddon [Destruction/Doom]," Ichigo said.
"I am ready for the change," Keter said.
"About time," Naamah said. Ichigo sealed Keter, Geburah, and Malkuth.
"Schrift R: The Reality Marble, Open the gate to Abaddon!" Ichigo and Naamah yelled. Ichigo released dark purple demonic energy which blinded everyone.
Scene Change: Abaddon, Schrift Q: The Qliphoth's Reality Marble
Ichigo opened his eyes to see he was standing on a desolate gray wasteland with a large black castle in front of him. Ichigo looked to see the sky was black with a crimson red sun.
"Hello Master," Naamah said as she appeared behind me, seductively embracing me.
"Hello, Naamah. We can play later we still got business to do." Ichigo said. Naamah pouted as she stared at Genghis, using Sathariel.
"Wow. He's much older than we thought." Naamah commented.
"Really?" Ichigo asked.
"From what I can get, He was born Genghis Khan, the First King of Mongolia." Ichigo nodded his head, expecting this. "When he died, something pulled his soul from Earth and dropped it off here. His soul was placed in an abandoned baby, which was a hybrid between drow and a demon." Naamah said.
"How old is he?" Ichigo asked.
"I can't say since I'm not sure about the time cycle," Naamah admitted. "Chishiki would be able to answer once she scans his memories."
"Ok." Ichigo summoned Golachab. Ichigo heated Golachab's edge and chopped off Genghis's arms and legs. The heat prevented him from bleeding out.
"Are those limbs gifts for Chishiki to add to the archive?" Naamah asked
"Correct," Ichigo replied.
"Why don't you give her the entire body. Her process also kills him." Naamah asked.
"I want to kill him through a delayed time bomb, so we have more time to escape,"Ichigo said.
"Smart," Naamah said. Golachab disappeared from his hand. Naamah returned to Ichigo's mindscape. Ichigo deactivated Schrift R: The Reality Marble, sending Ichigo and Genghis back out.
Scene Change: Outside World
Ichigo and Genghis appeared on a floating platform. The majority of the planet has already been converted into energy, leaving the small platform he was standing on. Around him were stone gateways glowing with blue energy on their own platform. It reminded Ichigo of the entrance to a dungeon. In the distance, Ichigo could see Evernight Forest and a few villages floating toward them. Ichigo spotted Evernight and Yhwach floating towards them.
"About time. I could connect with you."Evernight said. Ichigo looked to see her standing on the edge of the Evernight Forest.
"Sorry about that,"Ichigo said as he immediately activated Tengan and used Haōgan to send the islands into Haō Zaimushō. Evernight and Yhwach landed beside Ichigo.
"I kept the dungeon entrance active so no one would discover us yet," Evernight said.
"Nothing tried to teleport in." Yhwach added.
"Good," Ichigo said. He looked at Genghis and prepared to cast a spell on Genghis.
"Wait." Zangetsu suddenly interjected, stopping Ichigo midway. Evernight noticed the sudden stop.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"One moment," Ichigo replied.
"What is it Zangetsu?" Ichigo asked.
"I need you to stab my blade into Genghis's chest." He said.
"Why?" Ichigo asked.
"I… I can't explain why." Zangetsu admitted. "But something is telling me that it needs to be done."
"Ok," Ichigo said as he summoned Kokugatsu. "Do you need to be in Shikai?" Ichigo asked.
"No," Zangetsu replied. Ichigo stabbed Kokugatsu into Genghis's chest.
"GAH!" He grunted. Suddenly black energy flooded out of his body. Ichigo could feel the energy being absorbed by Zangetsu. After a few minutes, the energy dissipated. Ichigo pulled Kokugatsu out of Genghis's chest.
"Zangetsu? Are you ok?" Ichigo asked.
"After he finished absorbing the energy, he had been engulfed in a large black sphere," Kyōka interjected. "We can't reach them."
"I see… keep an eye out on him," Ichigo said.
"Ok Ichigo," Kyōka replied. Ichigo turned to Evernight.
"Sorry about that." He said.
"I didn't expect you to absorb all that energy." She said.
"Me neither. My sword told me to do it." Ichigo said.
"Ok…" Evernight replied, not bothering to question Ichigo further. He cast a spell on Genghis and the stone archways. "I cast a time-delayed explosion spell on everything," Ichigo said. Evernight nodded her head.
"The spacial distortion is tied to him. The moment he dies, the spacial distortion will also disappear." Yhwach said. Evernight looked at Genghis before she spat at him. Ichigo sent her into Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo gave Chishiki Genghis's limbs. Yhwach returned to Ichigo's mindscape. After that, Ichigo ripped open a Garganta and leaped inside, leaving Genghis alone. Soon the minute was over, and Ichigo's spell activated, killing the Overlord of Darkness and proclaimed Father of Demons.
Scene Change: Unknown Location
A creature was sitting down in a chair, looking at multiple transparent blue screens.
"Strange. The number of humans entering dungeons is higher than usual." The creature thought to themselves. The creature has dense black fur covering its round body and short limbs. The creature has big eyes, but no nose, and an ivory horn. The creature was dressed in a dark gray two-piece suit. This creature is a Dokkaebi. Suddenly multiple screens turned red. The Dokkaebi looked over at the first red monitor. Its eyes widen in shock. "The sensor lost connection with the Overlord of Darkness?" The Dokkaebi looked at the other screens. "All dungeons connected to the Overlord of Darkness's forces have lost connection with the dungeon archways?" The Dokkaebi read. The Dokkaebi swiped his hands, causing all the screens to minimize. The Dokkaebi quickly began to type something on the terminal. A new screen appeared, showing nothing but the void of space and the stars.
"Impossible!" The Dokkaebi yelled. He snapped his fingers and disappeared. The Dokkaebi arrived at the location of the Overlord of Darkness's planet. His eyes widen as he was staring at the coordinates only to see nothing.
"How did this happen?" The Dokkaebi thought. "Could this be the work of a rogue Constellation?" The Dokkaebi looked around, trying to find any clues. "Nothing. Whoever did this also destroyed all the evidence." The Dokkaebi sighed as he snapped his fingers.
Scene Change: Unknown Location
The Dokkaebi returned to his workstation and called the other Dokkaebi. A few moments later, six other Dokkaebi teleported in.
"What is it Eodum [Darkness]?" One of the Dokkaebi asked. This Dokkaebi has red fur red and was dressed in a charcoal suit with a white dress shirt and a red tie.
"Palgan Bul [Red Fire], someone killed my sponsee and destroyed his planet at once," Eodum said.
"Impossible. The sensors that Intelligentsia and I created should be able to piece through all forms of signal interference." Another Dokkaebi said. This Dokkaebi has silver fur and wore a gray suit with a green dress shirt. On his face was a monocle.
"Don't be arrogant Saibeo [Cyber]." Another Dokkaebi interjected, this one has dark brown fur and wore a white karate gi with a black belt around its waist. "It might not be impossible now, but it might be possible in the future."
"And that impossible was now." Another Dokkaebi interjected. This Dokkaebi has brown fur with a faded brown shirt and pants.
"Enough!" Eodum yelled. "I called this meeting to warn you to keep an eye out on your sponsee. Not for you to ridicule each other." The other Dokkaebi nodded their heads and disappeared, leaving Eodum alone. Eodum sighed as he pulled up all the other screens he minimized.
"Wait a minute." He thought as he looked at data of people entering dungeons. "Could it be that someone from Planet-42016 is the one who killed the Overlord of Darkness and the reason why we have more people in the dungeon is that they are trying to thin out the initial force?" Eodum considered. "If Planet-42016 indeed has someone this strong, then why did they wait until now to respond. Even then, they would be under the same agreement as everyone." Eodum noticed the obvious contradiction to his theory. "Let's wait and see." He decided as he kept a close eye on Planet-42016.
Scene Change: Void
Ichigo was currently traversing through the void.
"Who are you planning on killing next?" Chishiki asked.
"I'm thinking of The Overlord of Dragons and Destruction," Ichigo said.
"I wish to understand Master's reasoning. The Overlord's moniker implies that it is aggressive." Chishiki said.
"The Overlord of Dragons and Destruction's homeworld is much larger compared to Genghis's homeworld. It will give me a moment to rest and deal with Evernight." Ichigo explained.
"Master's reason makes sense based on the information we have,"Chishiki said. It didn't take long before they reached the end. Ichigo once again activated Schrift U: The Umbra.
"Engulf the light and plunge the world in darkness, Nightshroud." Once again Nightshroud appeared on him. As the Garganta opened, Ichigo quickly dove into the shadows. The Garganta immediately closed itself. Ichigo could see he was in a forest of some kind.
"Looks like Schrift U's and Schrift Q's and Schrift S's energy production have returned to normal. But Schrift A,Schrift E, Schrift F, Schrift L, Schrift P, Schrift T, and Schrift V are now in overdrive." Kyōka reported.
"This place has so much elemental energy around us," Nejibana added.
"Please monitor them," Ichigo said as he sent a small burst of reiatsu. He found a nearby village north of his location. Ichigo once again used Shadowrun and quickly left the spot. Ichigo eventually arrived there. He could see the village itself is small. Most buildings were built with white stone walls, and red roofs, and were either one or two stories high. They have slanted roofs, pink facades, and golden trimmings. Ichigo spotted a few people walking around. They resembled humans but with the addition of reptilian eyes, red horns sticking out of their heads, and dragon wings on their backs. They were dressed in loose red and black shirts with black pants.
"Legilimens." Ichigo mentally cast from the shadows, as he began to gather as much information as possible. "It seems these dragons speak a slight variation of Chinese," Ichigo observed. "These are dragons that can polymorph into a human-like form." Ichigo thought as he continued to explore the village.
"We are currently in a village called Yon Rha Village, in honor of General Yon Rha, Hǔ Niū's great-grandfather, who fought valiantly in The Millennium War," Chishiki reported after Naamah handed her the souls.
"Millennium War?" Ichigo questioned.
"The Millennium War was a war where the Fire Dragons, Earth Dragons, Metal Dragons, Water Dragons, and Wood Dragons fought for total control over the world, called Wǔxíng [Five Phases/Five Elements]. The Millennium War desolated the land and killed many dragons. One Fire Dragon had enough. This Fire Dragon gathered allies and eventually killed all the Dragon Kings and united the entire continent. This lone Dragon ate the hearts and magic cores of each of the Dragon Kings and became the first Dragon that can use all four elements. This Dragon became known as Dragon God of the Five Realms."
"I assume this Dragon God of the Five Realms is the Overlord of Dragons and Destruction?" Ichigo guessed.
"I would safely assume so," Chishiki replied. "Our best bet is to head to the Huǒ Guó Shǒudū [Fire Nation Capital, the home of the Fire Dragon King."
"Ok," Ichigo said as he slipped out of the village, into the forest. Once he was alone, Ichigo changed his human eyes into reptilian eyes. He grew reddish-orange dragon horns and matching dragon wings on his back. Ichigo transfigured his clothes to resemble the clothing the villagers wore. Ichigo sealed Schrift U: The Umbra, sending Nightshroud back to his mindscape.
"A fire dragon fight using fast and aggressive strikes. They unleash their fire as a method of attack for range combat while using their claws and feet for close combat."Chishiki mentioned.
"Thanks for the insight," Ichigo replied.
"According to our information, we are currently in the Huǒ Zhī Guó [ Fire Nation], the southern part of Wǔxíng." Chishiki began. "Yon Rah Village is located on the southern coast, so we need to head north until we reach Huǒ Guó Shǒudū," Chishiki said. With a plan, Ichigo flew towards Huǒ Guó Shǒudū. Throughout the journey, Ichigo would land and hunt animals while practicing how a Fire Dragon would fight. The killed animal would be sold at the villages he stopped at. He used the opportunity to gather more information from the locals.
"It seems like the Overlord is only allowed to send dragon hybrids into the dungeons because of how powerful most of the dragons are. Due to this, most of the people aren't aware of what is going on."Ichigo concluded from his observation of the villagers from multiple villages. Ichigo eventually arrived at Huǒ Guó Shǒudū. The city was multiple times larger than the villages Ichigo crossed through. Most of the buildings were made from metal. It was late afternoon by the time Ichigo entered the city. He used the time to perform Legilimency to find an inn he could book. Ichigo activated Tengan, transforming his eyes.
"Haōgan," Ichigo said, as he teleported into Haō Zaimushō [Treasury of the Supreme King].
Scene Change: Haō Zaimushō
Ichigo appeared in Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo could see Evernight's islands floating there. Ichigo could see Evernight flying towards him.
"Ichigo!" She screamed in her language. She landed in front of him and hugged him. "Our plan worked!" She shouted.
"Good," Ichigo replied in her language. "Do you have a name for your language?" He asked.
"I don't." She admitted.
"Then let's call it Everspeak," Ichigo suggested.
"Good idea." She replied in Everspeak.
"While you are in here, can you teach your people Japanese?" Ichigo said as a pile of books appeared in front of her.
"Why?" She asked.
"It would be great if you knew my native tongue," Ichigo said.
"Fine," Evernight said.
"Don't worry, I have some people here to help you learn," Ichigo said as Kisara and Valiona appeared. Evernight took a few steps back.
"D-d-dragons." She said in shock.
"Don't worry. These are my dragons." Ichigo said.
"Hello. I am Kisara." Kisara introduced herself in Everspeak.
"And I'm Valiona," Valiona said in Everspeak.
"Nice to meet you," Evernight replied. Ichigo handed the books over to Kisara and Valiona. They escorted Evernight away. Suddenly Kyōka, Chishiki, and Naamah appeared as well.
"This would be a safe place to talk about your next move," Kyōka said.
"Second," Chishiki said.
"So, what do we need to talk about?" Ichigo asked.
"We believe the Dragon God used to be someone from our world, or something similar to our world," Naamah said.
"When the Dragon God united the world, his four retainers, who were a Fire Dragon, Water Dragon, Earth Metal hybrid Dragon, and Wood Dragon were all bestowed new names as a reward for their loyalty," Chishiki said.
"The Fire Dragon King was given the name Tokugawa Ieyasu," Naamah said. Kyōka turned to Ichigo.
"You're thinking that the Dragon God is-" Ichigo began.
"Oda Nobunaga, the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven." Kyōka finished. "It's possible considering, we just encountered Genghis Khan."
"Are you planning to attack Tokugawa Ieyasu?" Naamah asked.
"Attacking him serves no purpose," Ichigo said. "The moment the other Dragon Kings heard about an attack on Tokugawa Ieyasu, they would immediately tighten security." Ichigo pointed out.
"You're right," Naamah admitted.
"The best bet is to gather more information regarding the Dragon God before we leave here," Kyōka suggested.
"Second," Chishiki said.
"I'll keep an eye out on schools or museums," Ichigo said.
"Good idea," Naamah said.
"Kyōka, how is Zangetsu and Yhwach?" Ichigo asked.
"They are still inside the sphere," Kyōka replied.
"I see…" Ichigo said. "Please let me know if anything changes."
"Yes Ichigo,"Kyōka replied. Ichigo left Haō Zaimushō, with a plan in mind.
Scene Change: Inn
Ichigo washed up and went to bed. The next morning, Ichigo woke up. Once he made sure no one was around him, he activated Schrift U: The Umbra again.
"Engulf the light and plunge the world in darkness, Nightshroud." Nightshroud appeared around him like a cloak. Ichigo walked down and had a quick breakfast. Ichigo left the inn and began to explore the city. Ichigo continued to use Legilimency until he found a school. Ichigo used the acquired knowledge to arrive at the school. The school consisted of multiple buildings surrounded by a black wall. There was an archway with a sign which read, Huángjiā Xiāofáng Xuéyuàn [Royal Fire Academy]. In front of the entrance were two guards. Ichigo easily slipped past the guard by using Shadowrun. Ichigo found a map of the Academy and moved into the library. Ichigo slipped into the library. The library was illuminated by large glass windows. Ichigo spotted an older lady sitting at a desk, reading a book. "Must be the librarian." Ichigo thought as he moved to the farthest corner of the library. "Chishiki, do you have a way to scan these books without destroying them?" Ichigo asked.
"I do. Just allow my nanobots on the shelves." Chishiki replied. Ichigo activated Schrift X: The Xenomachina. Black nanobots, thinner than paper, rushed out of Ichigo's shadow. The nanobots forced their way into the books, scanning the contents. Ichigo continued to allow more nanobots onto the bookshelves. "Based on my estimates, it should take ten minutes to scan all the books in the library," Chishiki reported.
"Good," Ichigo said as he moved toward the librarian. He used Legilimency on her; trying to find any other secrets. "Found somewhere else we can check after," Ichigo said.
"Where?" Chishiki asked.
"There is a shrine-like building in the middle of the school. Only special staff members are allowed to enter it." Ichigo said.
"Seems suspicious," Kyōka commented.
"Second," Chishiki commented. The nanobots finished scanning all the books in the library. They crawled back inside Ichigo's shadows. Ichigo slipped out of the library and headed to the middle of the school. Ichigo arrived to see a statue of a red dragon, which resembled a European dragon. Behind the Dragon was a shrine. Ichigo sneaked inside the shrine to discover a set of stairs, leading underground. Ichigo slipped down the stairs. He arrived in a metal corridor. He could sense people further down. Ichigo moved further down to discover a laboratory. Ichigo could see many dragons, who were in their human form, kept in cages. They all had large metal collars on their neck. Their eyes were devoid of life. Ichigo could see one of the prisoners strapped down on a table as its blood was being drained. Ichigo could see people around the prisoner. One person was wearing a white lab coat. While everyone else wore a white apron over their school uniform.
"Professor, Subject 14's blood pressure is approaching the danger zone." One of the people said.
" Stop the blood collection." The man with the white lab coat replied.
"Looks like he's the leader of this operation." Ichigo thought as he watched the students remove the needle while another student bandaged the area. "Take it back to the cage and bring in Subject 15." The Professor instructed as he left the room. Ichigo followed behind him. They soon arrived in a room. Ichigo could see many different cauldrons around the room. The ones on the left all had stoves underneath, heating the cauldron. On the right side were more cauldrons on their own separate shelves. In the middle of the room was a table with multiple pieces of wood on it.
"Is he brewing potions?" Ichigo thought as the Professor inspected the heated cauldrons. He would stir a few of them. Other he left alone. He added a few ingredients to a few of the cauldrons. He grabbed the last one and took it to the right side, placing it on the shelf. He grabbed another cauldron and walked to the wooden board. "I sense fire elemental energy from that cauldron." Ichigo thought as the Professor pulled out a ladle and scooped out a ladleful of the mixture and poured it out on the wooden board. Ichigo could see the mixture was red and thick. He put the ladle inside the cauldron, and he placed another wooden board on top. This one has handles on the side. He grabbed the handles on the board and began to push the top board up and down. After a few minutes, he lifted the top board up, revealing small red spherical pills. He grabbed a bottle and carefully bottled the pills and he continued.
"I think we've seen enough." Ichigo thought. A shadow tentacle rose behind the Professor, who was finishing up bottling the last of the pills. The tentacle knocked the Professor out. Ichigo rose out of the shadow. Naamah appeared beside him. Naamah walked over to the unconscious Professor and copied his soul.
"All the people we just saw are the only ones who are currently here," Naamah reported.
"How many people are aware of what's going on?" Ichigo asked.
"The Headmaster of Huángjiā Xiāofáng Xuéyuàn since he allows this to be done inside his school. The majority of the Huǒ Guó Shǒudū Police Force are also aware since they supply the prisoners." Naamah reported.
"What about the students?"
"The students are the children of either the Police Force or nobles who use the products," Naamah said.
"Who are these prisoners?"
"The prisoners are inmates that are supposed to be executed by the Police Force. Legally, they are dead, but the Police Force used body doubles to impersonate them." Naamah said.
"I see…" Ichigo said.
"You're planning on taking them?" Naamah asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied as he carefully stored everything in the pill-making room in his mindscape, being extra careful with the cauldrons. Ichigo slipped back into the shadow and moved back to the previous room with the other assistants and the prisoners. Tentacles made of shadows silently rose behind the students. All the prisoners silently watched as the tentacles knocked all the students unconscious. A few of the tentacles moved towards Subject 15. Subject 15's eyes widen. Before Subject 15 could react, one of the tentacles closed the valve on the blood draw and carefully removed the needle. Another tentacle grabbed bandages and wrapped the wound with them. After that, the tentacles undid Subject 15's restraints. All the other tentacles followed suit, freeing all the other prisoners. Ichigo rose out of the shadows. All the prisoners reverted back into their true state. Ichigo could see all kinds of dragon hybrids.
"$: You can rest now :$," Ichigo said in Parseltongue as he cast a few sleeping spells. All the prisoners fell asleep. Ichigo activated Tengan. Ichigo summoned Kisara and Valiona out of Haō Zaimushō.
"Please take care of these dragons," Ichigo asked.
"Of course," Kisara replied
"I'm curious to see if these pills can help them," Ichigo said as he handed the pill bottle to Valiona.
"Got it," Ichigo said as he sent them and the sleeping dragon hybrids back into Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo kept one of the pills. Ichigo deactivated Tengan and activated Schrift X: The Xenomachina. A sea of black nanobots rushed out of Ichigo's shadow, devouring everything in their place, except the unconscious professor and students. A black hand made out of nanobots rose up in front of Ichigo. He placed the red pill in the black hand. The hand closed around the pill and the nanobots scattered, joining the rest of the nanobots. In a few minutes, the metal secret chamber was reduced to a barren stone cavern.
"What are you planning to do with them?" Naamah asked.
"Harab Serapel [Ravens of the Burning God]," Ichigo said as a pair of black tai chi sabers appeared in his hands. Ichigo stabbed everyone with Harab Serapel. Ichigo watched as all of them began to violently shake. Ichigo watched as the red feathers began to grow.
"Aren't they supposed to have black feathers?" Ichigo asked.
"Maybe they mutated due to their Fire Dragon?" Naamah theorized. Soon the transformation ended and all of them woke up. Their faces are now bird-like. They now have a plume on their head. Males have short plumes while females have long plumes that flowed towards their necks. Their webbed wings are replaced by feathered wings (1).
"Master." They all said as they bowed to Ichigo.
"We will talk later," Ichigo said as he pointed the pommel ring at them. "Matjar." He said. All the dragonic garudas and dragonic harpies were teleported away. Ichigo deactivated Schrift X: The Xenomachina and slipped into the shadows and left the secret chamber. Ichigo stayed in the shadow until he was a few miles away from Huángjiā Xiāofáng Xuéyuàn. Ichigo rose out of the shadow once he was alone. Ichigo calmly returned to his room in the inn. Ichigo activated Tengan again and sent himself into Haō Zaimushō.
Scene Change: Haō Zaimushō
Ichigo appeared to see all the prisoners lying down on the grass as Kisara and Valiona observed them.
"How are they?" He asked.
"They are severely malnourish and injured. It appears their body is trying to repair the damage" Kisara said.
"Let me see if I can help with that," Ichigo said. "Let the world witness your rise. Let my allies feel your warmth. Let my foes feel your fury, Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi!" Ichigo chanted as he activated Schrift T: The Taiyō [Sun]. Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi appeared in his hand. "Iyashino Nikkō [Healing Sunlight]," Ichigo said as he stabbed the nodachi into the ground. The blade began to glow and releases a gentle wave of heat toward the prisoners. Their bodies immediately absorbed the wave of heat, dramatically helping them recover. After a few minutes, they started to wake up.
"Hello," Ichigo said as he continued to use Iyashino Nikkō on them.
"Who…who are you?" Someone asked; trying to appear intimidating. She resembled a lizardman but has broad shoulders. She has red armor plating on her back, shoulders, and the backs of her arms. It is mostly white with black on her upper half and has four claws on both of her hands (2).
"I am Ichigo. I rescued you and healed you." Ichigo said.
"I see. I am Liúxīng [Firewall]." Liúxīng introduced.
"Nice to meet you," Ichigo said. Everyone else looked nervous.
"If it is fine with you, I will represent everyone," Liúxīng said.
"That is fine," Ichigo said.
"So, why did you rescue us?" She asked.
"Simply because I saw you needed help," Ichigo answered.
"Are we trapped here?" She asked.
"No," Ichigo answered. "But I recommend you stay here."
"Why?" Liúxīng asked.
"This place is impossible to find." Ichigo caused as he looked at the nervous people behind Liúxīng. "You will no longer be their prisoner."
"We would be yours." Someone with a deep voice said. Ichigo turned to the source of the voice. He resembled a lizard and a rhino, as he stood on four feet. His body was bigger and bulkier compared to the rest. He has a large horn in the middle of his face.
"And you are?"
"Luàn Nào [Rampage]." He introduced.
"You are not a prisoner, but you need to understand how well they covered their tracks," Ichigo said. "You are legally dead. If anyone recognized you and report you to the police, they would likely arrest you and send you back."
"And being with you is a better option?" Luàn Nào asked.
"I will not force you to do anything. You are free to roam the land but be aware that you are not alone, and they have their own language." Ichigo said as he pointed at Evernight who casually waved at them. Luàn Nào nodded his head. "Does anyone else have any questions for me?" No one responded. "Ok then. For now, all of you should stay here and recover." Ichigo said. He looked at Kisara and Valiona.
"Can you two teach them the Dragons Japanese and Everspeak?" Ichigo asked.
"I can help with the Everspeak." Someone said. They turned to see Evernight floated in the air. She was luckily clothed.
"Thanks," Ichigo replied in Everspeak. Ichigo turned to the Dragons.
"Who can teach her your language?" Ichigo asked, switching languages.
"I can," Liúxīng replied. "Our language's name is Lóng Yǔ [Dragon Speech]." She added.
"Great," Ichigo said as he walked away. Once they were away from them, Naamah suddenly appeared. A privacy dome appeared around them.
"Are you planning to go to the other capitals?" She asked.
"Why?" Ichigo asked.
"According to the Professor's memories, all the other capitals have similar underground pill production sites," Naamah said.
"There are more people imprisoned like them?" Ichigo asked. Naamah nodded her head.
"The Shuǐ Bùluò [Water Tribe] and the Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó [Harden Earth Kingdom]are similar to the Fire Nation, extracting their blood and refining it into pills. In addition to doing that, the Mù Yù [Wooden Domain] also created pills that increased the chance of hybrid pregnancies." Naamah said.
"I see…" Ichigo said. Chishiki suddenly appeared beside them.
"We have two options on where we go," Chishiki said as she created a map of Wǔxíng with her nanobots. Ichigo could see a large continent that was split into four pieces by two large walls with a palace at the intersection of the walls. "As stated earlier, we're currently in Huǒ Zhī Guó, the southern part of Wǔxíng," Chishiki said. Huǒ Zhī Guó glowed red. "We can either go East to Mù Yù, the home of the Wood Dragons or we can go West to the Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó, the home of the Earth and Metal Dragon," Chishiki said. Two black arrows started at Huǒ Zhī Guó and pointed at Mù Yù and Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó. "Whichever one we pick we would then go North to the Shuǐ Bùluò, home of the Water Dragon. When we come down, we would enter the one we didn't pick."
"We will go to Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó next." Ichigo decided. "Mù Yù will likely be the messiest considering how big their operation is likely to be."
"Valid argument and reasoning," Chishiki commented as she snapped her fingers. The black arrow leading towards Mù Yù changed direction, now coming from Shuǐ Bùluò. "From the information we gathered, I have already planned the best route from our location towards Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó's capital, Ba Sing Se. I have also included villages and towns that are along the way." Chishiki said as the map zoomed in towards Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó. Ichigo could see a black dotted line from Huǒ Zhī Guó to Ba Sing Se with a few brown flags on the black line. With a plan established, Ichigo left Haō Zaimushō.
Scene Change: Outside World
Ichigo reappeared inside his room in the inn.
"Looks like no one entered the room." Ichigo thought as the room appeared to be undisturbed. Ichigo walked downstairs and had a quick dinner. Ichigo stepped out of the inn and walked around the city while using Legilimency on the locals. Lucky for him, no one was aware what transpired at Huángjiā Xiāofáng Xuéyuàn. "Either they haven't discovered what happened, or they are keeping it on the down-low." Ichigo reasoned. Ichigo returned to the inn and went to bed. The next morning, Ichigo left the town in his dragon disguise with Nightshroud wrapped around himself. As he flew, Ichigo could see other people flying on the same path. Some people were like him, leaving the city. While others are flying towards the city. It didn't take long before Ichigo was flying alone. Ichigo sent a small blast of reiatsu.
"Looks like I am alone." Ichigo thought. He landed on the ground and entered the shadows to use Shadowrun, traveling northwest. It took Ichigo a few hours to cross the border into the Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó. Ichigo quickly found one of the villages Chishiki planned on the map. The village resembled the rural villages Ichigo seen in Huǒ Zhī Guó but they are made out of either wood or stone bricks decorated with green, silver, and gold colors. Ichigo entered the village. Ichigo spotted a few dragons walking around the village. They looked similar to the Fire Dragons but there were a few differences. The first was that their skin was either brown, metallic silver or a mix of both. They did not have any wings. Instead, their body appeared more muscular. Ichigo quickly left the village. Ichigo rose out of the shadows and changed his dragon form. Ichigo lost his wings and his orange hair turned brown. Ichigo's scales turned a darker shade of brown. While his body gained more muscles, resembling the residents of the village.
"Earth Dragons can manipulate the earth around them. While Metal Dragons can manipulate the metals around them. Both Earth and Metal Dragons have heavy bodies, making it impossible for them to fly or be fast. However, they have extremely dense skin, making it nearly impossible to pierce their skin." Chishiki said.
"Thank you," Ichigo said as he paid the toll and was allowed to enter the village.
"Legilimens." Ichigo mentally cast as he walked through the village. The village he was in is called Chin. Ichigo stayed in the village for the night, gathering more intel from the citizens of the village. After that Ichigo would leave the village. He would hike towards the next village while practicing how an Earth Dragon would fight. Ichigo visited a few more villages before he arrived at Ba Sing Se, the capital of Yìnghuà Dìqiú Wángguó. Ba Sing Se is surrounded by a circular hundred meters tall stone wall. Ichigo paid the toll and was allowed to walk through the opening. Ichigo exited the opening to see a large open plain. Ichigo could see small buildings scattered all over the plain. In the distance, he could see another circular wall almost the same as the outer wall. Ichigo walked over to one of the nearby villages. Ichigo could see many people walking around. Ichigo found a tavern and entered it. The tavern was mostly empty. Ichigo walked to the counter and sat down.
"Welcome to Ba Sing Se. What can I get ya?" The bartender asked.
"A glass of rock tea," Ichigo said.
"Ok." The bartender said as he placed a cup of tea in front of Ichigo. "You're a new face here." Ichigo took the tea and sipped it. "New to Ba Sing Se?" The bartender asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied.
"I bet ya heard about the job opportunities here and came." The bartender asked.
"I did." Ichigo lied. The bartender shook his head in a disappointed manner.
"Another one." The bartender though. The bartender leaned closer to Ichigo.
"You just got here, right?" He whispered. Ichigo nodded his head. "You still have a chance to leave before it's too late." Suddenly the door of the tavern was kicked down. Ichigo and the bartender turned to see two people enter the tavern. They wore dark green full-body armor. They both turned to Ichigo and the bartender. They punched their fists toward them, firing small bits of rock flying toward them. Ichigo saw the incoming projectile but decided not to react, allowing himself to be captured. The two men quickly grabbed Ichigo's arms and slammed him into the counter. Ichigo turned to see the bartender was restrained similarly.
"Pao Cheung (3), you are under arrest." One of them said.
"Why am I getting arrested?" Ichigo asked.
"You are being detained for your safety." The man on top of Ichigo said. He struck Ichigo's neck, trying to knock him out. Ichigo closed his eyes and calmly breathed, pretending to be unconscious. The men threw Ichigo and the unconscious bartender on their shoulders and discretely left the teahouse.
The Overlord of Darkness's home world is heavily inspired by the Overlord video game series developed by Codemasters, Climax Action, and Triumph Studios. Their original name and character species have been altered to meet my needs. I know that the Overlord of Darkness ended relatively fast but Ichigo had too many advantages against him.
The Overlord of Destruction's home world is heavily inspired by Avatar the Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, and the Kyoshi book series. All rights to the aforementioned series belong to their original owners. This also doesn't count as a crossover.
