Chapter 4 – Make It Shine

Oh, yeah
Girl go to work for me (Work for me)
Can you make it clap, no hands for me? (Oh, yeah)
Take it to the ground, pick it up for me

Put in work like my timesheet (Oh)
She ride it like a '63 (Oh-woah)
I'ma buy her new Céline (Oh, no)
Let her ride in a foreign with me
Oh, she the bae, I'm her boo
And she down to break the rules
Ride or die, she gon' go
I'm gon' juug, she finessin'
I pipe her, she take that
Put in overtime on your body

You don't gotta go to work (You don't gotta go to work, no)
Work, work, work, work, work, work
But you gotta put in work (Woah)
Work, work, work, work, work, work (Oh, yeah)
You don't gotta go to work
Work, work, work, work, work, work
Let my body do the work (Do the work, do the work)
Work, work, work, work, work, work (Yeah, yeah)
We can work from home, oh-oh, oh-oh
We can work from home, oh-oh, oh-oh

Bella's POV

It feels like I was walking down a very long hallway that leads to nowhere. Maybe it's because I am so nervous that I'm dreading to show up on stage. It's always like this whenever I perform or filming on set for Rainbow Garden. I get so nervous where I feel like I wanted to back out so badly, but it's futile there is no turning back when you made it this far. Then again, if I don't do this, I'm letting my fans down, disappointing them for coming all this way to see me back out and all their dreams get taken away. And I can't let that happen. No way. That's not the kind of person I am. I want my fans to get the experience as this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

It felt like forever until I reached the platform where two of my backup dancers are to where we will be elevating up on stage. From below, I can hear the crowd as Martin Garrix, one of the DJs I collaborated with for Moon Walk, as he has just finished performing for the opening act of my show. At that moment, the platform below me and my dancers started to raise as we were brought up right on stage. It was dark as the lights were turned off but our backs were turned as we were ready.

I was ready. I thought as I had the microphone in my hands.

(A/N: Play Problem by Ariana Grande since the melody sounds perfect and has a good beat.)

The music started playing the introduction of one of the songs, Shine, from my album. That's when I hear Martin on the mic as he gets the audience ready.

"Seattle are you ready?" He yelled and crowd responded as they were screaming to show their excitement causing me to smile. "Get ready because here she is! America's Princess! The one, the only, BELLA SWAN!" He announced.

At that moment, the spotlight was on us and my dancers and I turned around causing the entire stadium to go wild as everyone scream at the top of their lungs as I brought the microphone to my face and started singing. There, all the nerves I've been dealing with awhile back instantly went away. All I can think about is letting myself go with the flow. Let loose as what my first single was all about. To just be free and do what you want without worries or anything holding you back and not stress about what happens next, just go with it.

I continue singing the first song of the show while performing some dance moves with my dancers causing everyone to go wild. Once the song ended, everyone applauded as they cheered.

(A/N: End song.)

"Hello Seattle!" I said to everyone happily. "How are you all doing tonight?" The crowd answered with nothing but screams as they let out how excited they are for me. I can hear the whole stadium roaring due to how the stadium is built to trap the noise around here to make this place so loud.

"Wow, I'm loving the energy from this crowd." I said in amazement. "It's so great to be in the state where my father grew up and I couldn't tell you all how excited I was coming here. Trust me, I'm more excited being here than you guys are.

Thankfully, this is my last show of my tour and with being Seattle my last stop, I want this night to be special so I'm hoping by tonight, you guys will make this concert for me a night to remember. So how about we get this concert started?" I yelled causing everyone to cheer. "I can't hear you!" The cheering got even louder indicating that they are pumped up about this as I am.

"Let's kick it!" I said as the next song played and I began singing Moon Walk.

Throughout the first hour, I've already performed half of the songs that were on my album. Some of them I was dancing to with the dance team I worked on the choreography with while some of the songs I played them on the piano. Because of my mother who pushed me into learning the piano, it helped me with the songs I wrote as I sang in front of everyone. During each song when I was done, I made a quick wardrobe change. That was not easy I tell you as I have to run back stage, change outfits quickly, get a thirty second water break before rushing back on stage. It doesn't help when your mother who is also your manager nags you to hurry up like you're not even trying and point out to criticize such as almost tripping even though people barely noticed it.

After finishing another song with a spectacular performance I pulled off, I told everyone that we are taking a break before the show resumes so that everyone can take a moment to go to the bathroom or stretch. Soon, I made my way to backstage where everyone is at. The first person I met was my father.

"You're killing it out there, Bells." Charlie smiled as he gave me some water to drink. "Although, even from back here, the crowd can really make some serious noise."

I couldn't help but giggle. "They're my fans, what did you expect?"

"I wasn't expecting them to be as loud as the 12s during a Seahawks game." Charlie commented as he wiggled his finger in his ear. "I'm sure Canada would hear them.

Moving the noise complaint aside, you're having a good time out there?" He asked me as he had his arm over my shoulder and walks me through backstage.

"Yes, I'm having a blast. Everyone in the stands, I can't describe it but there's something special about them." I said.

"Well Seattle is filled with passionate and dedicated people. They love what this city is all about." Charlie said.

"Do you miss it here?" I asked, wondering what life would've been like living outside of Hollywood. There are some celebrities I hear who resides outside out Los Angeles such as New York or Florida.

Charlie had that look like he was thinking for a moment. "Believe me, I thought of the idea when I took a break from acting and maybe move back here in Washington since it's not bad of a travel to here and back, but your mother shot that one down before I could even explain it further stating L.A. is our home where everything is at." He then muttered something under his breath but I couldn't make it out what he said before he spoke up again. "Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the life in L.A., it just… well, I thought that it was time." He then sighed. "But no matter what, your mother will never budge as if things should go her way. I will never understand why she insist of staying in L.A."

"Bella!"

"Speak of the devil." Charlie muttered as my mother came over to us.

"Hurry up, you need to change for the next performance." Renee said to me.

"Mom, we're on a break for like half an hour. We got plenty of time until then." I pointed out to her.

"And yet, you're not in your dressing room now." Renee snapped. Before I could complain how she's being pushy, my father beat me to it.

"Renee, our daughter sang and danced her damn butt off on stage for the last hour nonstop. This girl deserves a little break before she can continue. So stop making this sound like Bella's in some sport competition or being uptight to get things done on time. We're not going anywhere so there's no need to rush things, not to mention pushing our daughter." Charlie snapped at her.

Renee huffed as she recomposed herself. "Just get ready." She said to me before she turned around and started yelling at the stage crew about some random stuff that is happening back stage. God, what is up with my mother?

"You might as well change before your mother comes back and gets even more pissed that she might receive a blackout." That's when Charlie's eyes lit up. "On second of thought, go ahead and take a break and be ready on your time as much as you needed."

"Dad," I frowned.

"Sorry, I was just trying to make things easier so you wouldn't have to deal with her tonight." Charlie grumbled. Still, that's my mother we're talking about here and the woman he loves and devoted to be with.

I left my father and made my way into my dressing room where my friends are at. Well, most of my friends as Jacob and Emmett were missing.

"Here Bella," Rosalie said as she offered me a plate of fruits and nuts. "You need the energy along with the hydration before you get back on stage."

"Thanks Rose." I said as I sat down in my chair and looked at everyone's been doing aside the TV screen that is showing the concert. "So this is what you guys do backstage while I perform?" I asked while eating my snacks, seeing Victoria on her phone while Jasper was reading a book on what look like about CSI.

"I got my upcoming movie for Tenet when we get back to L.A. So I need to know about this CIA stuff to help get into character. I promised myself I finished this book before we go home." Jasper explained before he went back into reading.

"Seriously, who reads backstage?" Emmett asked when he and Jacob came in, armed with hotdogs, chips and sodas. I rolled my eyes to get the hint where those two went while I was performing.

"I do." Jasper responded to Emmett as if he was challenging him.

"Well I have no doubt that my Jazzy will do well with his new role in the movie." Alice smiled as she came over to Jasper and kissed causing Jasper to smile before he went back into reading. Emmett made silent kissy faces earning the middle finger from Jasper without taking his eyes off the book.

"Come on Bella, you need to get changed." Alice said as she hopped over to me, taking the plate off my hands.

"Okay seriously, how many wardrobe changes does a person has to make?" Jacob asked as he scarfed down on the hotdog while taking a swig of his Pepsi.

"Every performance counts and appearance needs to be kept up without the need to bore out the audience." Alice said as she led me to where she laid out the outfit for me to wear.

"Yeah, well its not like people are looking at her dress, they're just here to see her sing live." Jacob said rolling his eyes.

"Image is everything, that's how I see it in fashion!" Alice stated.

"Clearly, you don't know what being a fan is all about." Jacob said as he ate some chips.

"I know what the people want. Right Rosalie?" Alice asked her.

Rosalie just stared at Alice. "Um… oh excuse me, I gotta take this." She said as she turned around held her phone to her ear, even though I could see that no one was calling for her.

"Emmett," Alice turned to him but Emmett only responded in time by shoving an entire hotdog in his mouth and just smiled with the hotdog in it as he was indicating that he can't talk with his mouth full causing me to laugh at Emmett's excuse.

"Jasper?" Jasper didn't say anything as his eyes were on the book he was reading but instead, he slapped a sticky note on the book that says "Do Not Disturb."

"Victoria, back me up on this." Alice sighed as she turned Victoria who was still on her phone in the same position she was in when I walked in.

Victoria looked up from her phone and when she saw Alice talking to her, she pulled something out of her ears.

"I'm sorry, what?" Victoria asked causing Alice to frown while I laughed at how no one here has backed Alice up.

"Just change." Alice said as I went behind curtain and changed outfits.

After putting on another outfit to wear, I left the dressing room as everyone wished me luck again before I went up on stage. There, I was welcomed again by the fans as they cheer for me. Well, time to give them a night to remember.

"How are you all doing right now? Are you having a great time?" I asked through the microphone. The obvious answer was given to me as everyone cheered. "I'm so glad you guys are enjoying yourselves. This next set, I wanna do something special for a lucky fan tonight so I wanna invite someone up on stage and sing this next song with me. Who wants to come up here?"

Though it seemed obvious, I can see the entire stadium being filled with hands being raised in the air wanting to be picked to come on stage and sing with me. It's not everyday you get to sing with a pop star. But sadly, you know how it goes, there's a one and million chance these things get to happen to you and I hate to bare bad news, but I can't make everyone happy. Only one can get to sing with me.

"Oh man, this is all too hard to choose. I want to invite everyone, but this stage isn't big enough for you guys. Guess I'll just have to let the spotlight do it for me." I said and soon, I saw the spotlight turned on in the crowd as it started moving around in the stadium to decide who gets to sing with me on stage. I turned to the big screen behind me so I can get a better view of the audience who are begging to be chosen to come on stage. The spotlight was toying everyone as it goes by them until it stopped at a row and I made out who the spotlight was one.

"How about her?" I said as the light was on a little girl with an unusual curly brownish hair color, gasped as she started screaming before squealing. "The little girl with the reddish-brown hair."

The look on the little girl's face was precious and I wanted to do something special for her, a night to remember. I watched as I saw one of the security guys come over to the row the little girl was sitting and was ready to escort her to the stage. She was about to follow him but then stopped suddenly and turned away for some reason. I was wondering what's going on? Is she too shy? Can't be because I see on the screen that she was now giving the puppy face to someone.

That's when something hit me when I noticed something about the little girl. It was her unusual hair color of red and brown, and the look on her face when she was excited. All of it was what made me recognized her. She's the little cheerleader I saw at the football game on Friday. But if she's here, could that mean…

Thankfully, the big screen panned out to show who the little girl was looking at and I saw him. The familiar bronze hair boy who played last Friday and won his team the game, the talk of the town, the star player of his school, the one person who's been on my mind.

Edward.

He's here. He's here at my show. How did it came to be? What were the odds that the person I chose to sing with me on stage has connections to Edward? There was that familiar feeling inside me as I feel like I wanted Edward to come on stage as well. That, I am willing to accept.

"I think she wants someone to join her on stage. Why doesn't her friend join us?" I asked, smiling as everyone was cheering for Edward to join me as well. Please come up here, Edward. Just please.

I saw on the screen that Edward is shocked as there was movement in the seats in front of him but it snapped Edward out of it while the little girl came over to him and tugged on his hand excitedly. Finally, Edward started following the little girl as they were both escorted from the stands towards the stage. With each passing second, my nerves were kicking in. I get to meet the so called famous Edward in person.

It wasn't long until I saw them both climbing up the steps to the stage and at that moment, the little girl was running over to me excitedly and I got down at her level just in time when she flung her arms around my neck as I hugged her back while she was squealing in excitement.

"It's you! It's you! It's you! It's you! It's you! It's you! It's you!" She exclaimed as she was jumping up and down in my arms.

"It's me, it's you!" I said to her happily before I got her to let go of me but held both of her hands in mine. She is an adorable little girl who looks to be around six or eight years old. For a little girl, she looks amazingly beautiful. "What's your name, little one?"

"My name's Renesmee, but most people call me Nessie!" She said with a big smile on her face.

"Well Renesmee, you have a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." I smiled to her. Even if it does sound like a mouthful.

"Thank you, but I wanna be pretty like you one day!" Renesmee said.

"I'm sure you will." I said and then I looked up at Edward who is watching us. "And who's your friend?" I asked Renesmee.

"That's my big brother Edward!" Renesmee said, pointing at him. Of course. I thought. It makes total sense. I can see the resemblance of the two with their hair color and the facial. If Renesmee was a few years older, I'm sure those two could pull off as twins. "Come on, you have to meet him!" She said as she led me towards her brother. She didn't have to drag me, but I didn't care. I want to meet Edward. Does it look like I'm only using Renesmee to get to her brother? No, because she wanted him to join her knowing that he wants to meet me just as she does. That's something you don't see from a little girl who shows to love her big brother.

"This is Edward!" Renesmee said as I was no face to face with her brother. "Edward, it's really Bella!" Edward didn't say anything. He just stared at me, still in a face of shock probably from finally getting to see me in person. "Hello! Big brother!" Renesmee was jumping up and down, waving her tiny hand in front of Edward's face.

Renesmee stopped as Edward finally came to his senses as he looked at us both.

"H-Hello Bella. I-I'm Edward C-Cullen. I-I-I-It's an honored to meet you." He said, stuttering in the process as he held out his hand.

I smiled as I took his hand in mine and shook it. From there, something clicked the moment we made contact and whatever it was that came from Edward, went right through me around my body of this feeling. The feeling that makes you want to let go in reaction, and yet, I didn't want to let go.

"Hello Edward, it's nice to meet you." I said. "Officially in person." I whispered the last part to myself. "So, are you guys ready to sing?"

"Yes!" Renesmee said nodding her head.

"How about I sing with you first, and then I get to sing a song with your brother?" I said to Renesmee before smiling to Edward. "Do you know my song, Don't Say You Love me?"

Renesmee nodded her head eagerly. The stage crew member came in and handed me another microphone. "Here," I said giving it to Renesmee and then faced the crowd. "Are you guys ready to hear Edward and Renesmee sing?" The crowd cheered excitedly which indicated a yes. "Hit it, Martin!" Martin started the song as I took Renesmee's hand and started singing with her.

"Got introduced to you by a friend
You were cute and all that, baby you set the trend
Yes you did, oh
The next thing I know we're down at the cinema
We're sitting there, you start kissing me
What's that about?

You're moving too fast, I don't understand you
I'm not ready yet, baby I can't pretend
No, I can't
The best I can do is tell you to talk to me
It's possible, eventual
Love will find a way (Love will find a way)

Don't say you love me
You don't even know me
If you really want me
Then give me some time
Don't go there baby
Not before I'm ready
Don't say your heart's in a hurry
It's not like we're gonna get married
Give me, give me some time"

As the music was playing, little Renesmee was singing beautifully. Not just singing so well, but she knew how to sing on cue. She has the voice of an angel as she looks. What's more, just singing and dancing with her was like having a little sister to play with where you could just dress up and pretend to whatever the kid's imagination runs wild.

"Don't say you love me
You don't even know me, baby
Baby don't say you love me
Baby, baby
If you really want me, then give me some time (Give me some time)

Don't say you love me
You don't even know me
If you really want me
Then give me some time (Won't you give me some time?)
Don't go there baby
Not before I'm ready
Don't say your heart's in a hurry
It's not like we're gonna get married
Give me, give me some time"

After the song ended when Renesmee and I finished singing, the audience applauded. Renesmee and I took a bow before she jumped into my arms for a hug making me smile that I made this little girl's dream come true. When we let go, I saw Edward with his phone out as he seemed to have recorded the whole thing of me and Renesmee singing. Well, time to make one other person's dream come true.

"Alright Edward, it's your turn." I smiled.

Edward was confused for a second until I saw his eyes widened when he realizes what is happening. Renesmee came over to Edward and took his phone away.

"Come on Edward, sing with Bella!" She said excitedly as I came over to them.

"What would you like to sing?" I asked Edward.

"Um, whatever you like." Edward said nervously after I saw him let out a gulp.

I thought for a moment of the perfect song for us to sing. "Hmm, how about Almost Is Never Enough? I usually sing my duet with Shawn Mendes, but I thought you would like to sing it with me." I said.

"S-Sure." Edward said. I led Edward over to the piano where I set the microphone in the stand as we both sat down.

"Um, do you mind if play? I prefer playing when I sing." Edward said, causing me to turn to him with a surprised look on my face.

"You play?" I asked.

"Y-Yeah, since I was a kid." Edward said. Of course. I thought. Jacob and Emmett told me what they've read about Edward, especially the type of music he listens to apart from mine. And now I will get to see him play in person.

I smiled to him. "Okay Edward, you can play with me. Just try to keep up." I teased causing Edward to do the same with that same crooked smile I saw before when he played football.

Edward took a moment to himself before he lifted his hands up and gently laid them on the keys of the piano. And soon, his fingers did all the work as they were pressing the keys at the right note. I focused myself as I started singing.

"I'd like to say we gave it a try
I'd like to blame it all on life
Maybe we just weren't right,
But that's a lie, that's a lie

And we can deny it as much as we want
But in time our feelings will show

'Cause sooner or later
We'll wonder why we gave up
The truth is everyone knows

Almost, almost is never enough
So close to being in love
If I would have known that you wanted me
The way I wanted you
Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart
But right here in each other's arms

Here we almost, we almost knew what love was
But almost is never enough"

After I sang my part, Edward started to sing. And I have to say, he wasn't that bad.

"If I could change the world overnight
There'd be no such thing as goodbye
You'll be standing right where you were
And we'd get the chance we deserve oh

Try to deny it as much as you want
But in time our feelings will show

'Cause sooner or later
We'll wonder why we gave up
Truth is everyone knows"

For someone who plays the piano and sings above average, Edward can do them both pretty well at the same time. As Edward and I were singing, I looked at Edward as he continues playing. I just couldn't help but stare at him as he plays, but I also couldn't help but look at his beautiful face. It's actually hard to look away, not when he looks at you in a way. The way Edward looks at me, it was if he trying to see through me, seeing to think about. But what is it that he's thinking about? What is it about me that makes Edward thinks so hard while he is singing and playing at the same time?

I didn't know how long Edward and I were staring into each other's eyes until the song ended and the crowd cheered. Edward and I looked away to see the crowd applauding on our performance while I saw Edward's sister holding Edward's phone that is aiming towards us.

"That was amazing Edward. You played really well." I said.

"T-Thank you." Edward said causing me to smile before we got up and I took the mic.

"Let's give a big round of applause to Edward and Renesmee for joining me on stage!" I said causing the audience to cheer. "Thanks for singing with me." I said to my two special guests.

"Thank you for letting us sing with you!" Renesmee said as she hugged me.

"Yes, thank you." Edward said as he looked nervous. "Um, Bella, can we take a picture with you?" He asked while showing his phone.

"Of course you can, if I can have one with you guys." I smiled causing Edward to smile as his sister got all excited.

I took a couple of photos with Edward and Renesmee and after that, I grabbed a selfie stick where I placed Edward's phone so that we can both be in the photo along with the whole crowd. Something I always do in every show so I can remember these moments. Edward and I got down to Renesmee's level as she stood in front of us. I pulled Edward a bit closer to me. Being this close to Edward felt… amazing. It was then, my heart was racing as my breathing was a bit uneven. I did my best to maintain myself as I took a photo of us. I took another one using my phone before I thanked them again and soon, Edward and his sister were escorted off the stage and back towards their seats.

From there when Edward and Renesmee made it back to where they sat, someone handed Renesmee something before he clasped both hands on Edward's shoulders looking very excited for him. That's when a girl jumped onto Edward's back as the other one came up to him and cling onto his arm. That's when two other girls came over to Edward.

At the sight of it, something was eating me up on the inside seeing all the girls come up to Edward.

They're… they're just probably friends of his. I thought as I saw one of the boys took the girl off of Edward making me feel relieved about myself. Why am I being like this? It's not like I claimed Edward as mine or anything, so why am I feeling like I was insecure compared to those girls that came up to him?

I shook off the feeling and continue on performing for the crowd as I continue playing the rest of the songs from my album, ending the night with Let Loose. I ended the concert with confetti falling of blue, green and silver causing the whole stadium to erupt.

"Thank you Seattle for a great night! I hope to see you again! I love you!" I said as everyone was cheering and I gave one last bow before I left the stage, thus ending the tour.

As I hear the crowd leaving the stadium while making my way backstage, I arrived where I was met with applause and cheers coming from the entire backstage crew along with Charlie, who is smiling proudly, and my friends up front.

"BELLA!" I was soon tackled by Alice and Victoria for a hug and later Rosalie as I embraced it in appreciation.

"Girl, you nailed it!" Rosalie exclaimed.

"That's my best friend!" Alice cheered.

"Come here, girlfriend!" Victoria said as she grabbed my head and kissed the top of my head hard causing me to laugh.

"And Bella," I turned to Alice who is grinning like a Siamese cat. "You sly dog! You got Edward to come up on stage! I saw where that was going!" I looked away to avoid showing her my blush.

"Alright ladies, move it! It's my turn for a hug!" Emmett said as he moved the girls aside so easily and scooped me up in a hug, squeezing me tight as he spun around.

"Dude, let the girl breathe." Jacob laughed as Emmett puts me down. "Let the best friend have a turn." He smirked as he hugs me tight while I saw Alice stuck her tongue at him. "And I am so jealous of you, Bells, that you got to meet Edward in person!" Oh my god, really?

"You two knuckleheads really are brawn for brains." Jasper said shaking his head with a chuckle. "This is how you hug Bella." He then proceeds with a gentle hug but tight enough for me to hug him back. "Nice performance, Bella."

"Thanks you guys." I smiled as my friends continue to congratulate me on my show along with everyone else backstage.

"You did great out there, Bells." Charlie said as he hugged.

"Thanks daddy." I said.

"Um, I saw that you brought that little girl's brother on stage." Charlie said causing me to tilt my head being curious on why he brought it up. "Your friends said that was Edward Cullen?"

"Yes, that was him." I said.

"Was, um, … what was he like?" Charlie said as he was scratching the back of his head.

"He's amazing, dad." I answered.

"T-That's cool." Charlie said and I can see where this was going causing me to giggle. I stopped when I was met with my mother.

"You had to bring extra on stage? This isn't a charity event you know." She said with her arms folded. Yeah, thanks for noticing how well I did on my performance mom. I thought sarcastically.

As if he knew what I was thinking, Charlie cleared his throat. I think we should head out of here. Renee nodded her head as we and my friends left CenturyLink Field and head back to our hotel where we booked the dinning hall and had dinner there for the next hour. It was pleasant as everyone talked about the concert. My mother was quiet throughout dinner, though she threw her opinions about the show that she disagreed on what my friends and father said. Then my friends even sneak in about my interaction with Edward causing me to blush at the special moment I had with him. The only moment I'll ever have with him I guess.

After dinner, we all went back to our hotel room and as soon as we were inside, we went our separate ways and I made my way to my room. I changed into my pjs feeling free after spending hours in different outfits. I'm even more free that it was my final show and I get a break from singing and acting for a while. Finally, my vacation begins.

I brushed my teeth and washed up before I left my bathroom and picked up my phone, going onto my Instagram where I posted the photo of my show; the one where I am close to Edward and his sister Renesmee. Out of all the shows, Seattle was the best and this is probably why. Knowing that photo will be blowing up with likes and comments in a matter of seconds, I went through the photos I got tagged in and saw many of my fans posted photos of what happened at my show tonight where they tagged me in it. There were those who showed themselves with their friends together, some show videos of my performance, and then there were some of fans showing pictures of themselves with comments about me that I find… unsettling is the nicest way to put it. That's why I ignored it as I liked a few photos that my fans posted.

As I was scrolling along, there was one photo that has my attention. There was a photo similar to the one I posted. I tapped on it and saw that the username was by SlayWard17. I recognized it when Jacob showed it to me. Sure enough, it was a photo of me and Edward and little Renesmee together along with the crowd. Seeing that made me smiled big as I tapped the like button on Edward's photos. This has truly been the best night ever.

After I believe it was enough interaction on the screen, I set my phone down and went over to the little doggie bag I brought from the dining hall for Fluff since we left her alone for the concert knowing she will be safe here than at the stadium with all the loud noises.

"Fluff," I called as I looked around to see her not coming over. Obviously, Fluff is asleep in her bed. "Wake up sleepyhead," I teased as I went around my bed. "Mommy brought you some leftovers. I even got them to make you some peanut butter banana pop for dessert." I turned but stopped when I saw the dog bed, but no dog.

"Fluff?" I got down and looked under my bed to see if she hiding but saw no sign of her. "Fluff!" I looked around the room and still no sign of her. Starting to worry, I came out of my room and looked around the hallway until I came into the living room where my father is watching TV with Jacob along with Alice and Jasper.

"Have you guys seen Fluff?" I asked them.

"I haven't seen her since we left for your show." Jacob said causing me to panic.

"You sure she's not in your room." Jasper asked me.

"Yes, I'm sure! She didn't respond when I called her and she wasn't in her bed." I said feeling frantic now.

"Okay Bella, calm down." Charlie said as he came over and tries to soothes me. "I'm sure Fluff's around here somewhere."

"Hey what's going on?" Emmett asked when he and Rosalie came out of the room. Victoria joined in a second later.

"Bella can't find Fluff in her and thought she might be hiding somewhere." Alice explained.

"Ah that shouldn't be too hard to find the little snowball." Emmett said like it was no big deal. How can he be so sure like that? "Watch," Emmett then stuck two fingers in his mouth and blew out a very loud whistle.

"OW!" Jacob cried, covering his ears while having an annoyed look on his face.

"Tone it down, dumbass!" Victoria said. Emmett just shrugged and looked around. We all did and waited to see if Fluff responded to Emmett's call. And still no sign of her. Now I'm really worried!

"Okay, I say we split up and search the place." Jasper said. "Check your rooms and every nook and cranny of this place." Everyone went separate directions while Jasper turned to me. "We'll find her, Bella." He said, giving me a firm squeeze on my shoulder before he went into his and Alice's room. I took a deep breath before heading back to my room and search again to see if Fluff was hiding there or not.

Once again, Fluff was nowhere to be found so I came out of my room to see everyone else looking around in the living room.

"Did you guys find her?" I asked.

"No, she wasn't in any of our rooms." Rosalie said, shaking her head.

"She's not in any of our luggages or bags." Alice said.

"She's not in the bathrooms." Jasper said when he came out.

"I looked through the closets, not there." Victoria called out. "But I found what I thought I left behind at L.A. so I can release some –"

"Okay seriously, we didn't need to know that!" Jasper said as he cover his ears while having a cringe look on his face.

"She's not hiding behind any of the furniture." Jacob said, popping his head out from behind the TV.

"She's not in the kitchens." Emmett said as he was eating a chicken wing.

"Were you even looking?" Alice asked Emmett in disbelief.

"I checked the fridge." Emmett said causing Rosalie to come over and smack him in the back of the head. "OW!"

"Dad, did you find her?" I asked him like I was begging.

"I've been scouring the living room and couldn't find the little pup." Charlie answered.

"You didn't check your room?" I asked.

"I would, but," Before Charlie could finish,

"What is going on here?"

"That's why." Charlie sighed when my mother came in.

"Fluff is missing and we can't find her. Is she in your room?" Alice asked.

"Of course she's not." Renee said with her arms folded with a scoff. "Why would she be my room? She's should be in Bella's room since we left for her concert."

"She's not in there. We can't find her anywhere. Can you just please help us look for her?" I pleaded my mother.

Renee sighed in annoyance. "I knew that dog was going to be nothing but trouble." She muttered. Before we could do or say anything, there was a knock on our door.

"Who is that?" Rosalie asked.

"I called the manager to see if he knows anything." Charlie explained as he went over to open the door. The manager, Mr. Lewis, came in.

"Hello Charlie, to what do I owe you for tonight?" He asked with a smile.

"We seem to be unable to find my daughter's dog when we got back." Charlie explained to him. "You wouldn't happened to know what was going on while we were gone, do you?"

Mr. Lewis looked confused while being concerned as well. "Honestly no," He answered. "I haven't been in your room until now since I was making sure dinner was ready for you guys when you came back. But one of my housekeepers, Mandy, was assigned on this floor around the time you were gone. Perhaps she would know what your dog was doing."

The manager went over to the room phone and called his housekeeper to come up here. We waited for a few minutes until there was a knock on the door. Charlie went over to the door again and opened it to see girl wearing a housekeepers' uniform. She looked to be around in her twenties. When she came in, she froze where she stood seeing me and my friends. Honestly, I'm no mood right now to deal with fans who are shocked to be in my presence.

"Mandy, you were assigned on this floor earlier in the evening, correct?" Mr. Lewis asked her.

"Um… yeah." Mandy said nervously.

"Do you remember being in this room?"

"Y-Yes. I remember being in the room. I changed the sheets and everything." Mandy said.

"Do you remember seeing their dog in here while you were on duty?" Mr. Lewis asked.

That's when Mandy looked really nervous. "A… a dog?"

"She's a little Maltese white puppy about this size." I said holding out my hands to show how big Fluff is. "She's wearing a purple ribbon that's tied to her ear. She looks like this." I then pulled out my phone to show the housekeeper the photo of me and my dog.

"Uh, I don't think I saw your dog when I was here." Mandy said.

"She was in my room when I left. You came into my room to change the sheets, didn't you? Surely you saw Fluff." I said.

Mandy was silent as she looked down on the floor. Before she or any of us could say anything, Jacob spoke.

"Hold on," He said, holding out a hand and he had a concentrated look on his face. "Do you hear something?"

All of us listened very hard. I can hear something, but it was barely hearable.

"Sounds like something is playing… like music or something." Jasper said.

"Hang on," Mr. Lewis said having a look like he realized something and turned to Mandy with a stern expression on his face. "Empty out your pockets." He demanded. Mandy didn't move. "Empty your pockets, now!"

Mandy reluctantly and slowly, reached into her pockets and pulled out her phone and two little white ear pieces where I can something coming from it. Mr. Lewis snatched the little ear pieces from her hand and showed it to her.

"You were distracted, listening to music on your AirPods again while on duty, weren't you?!" He said disapprovingly causing Mandy to hung her head down in shame. Hearing this, I was now even more worried than before. That's when the manager's cellphone rang.

"Yes," He answered. "Okay, send it to me." He put it away and looked at us. "Security went over the footage and found something that my former employee had when she left the room. He's sending me the video." At those words, his phone rang and he looked at what he got. The manager sighed in frustration and showed it to us.

"I think this answers part of the problem." He said as we saw the video where it shows the hallways of the floor we are on and where the door of our room is. It first showed Mandy coming in where she is indeed listening to her music, not paying attention as she went in while pushing the cart with her tools and supplies. A few minutes later, she came out with the same cart as she listens along to her music. There, I saw at the bottom of the cart was my little puppy's head sticking out as she is riding in the cart.

No, Fluff!
