A/N: Not a super-long chapter, Friends, but some people were asking for more so I thought I'd drop this bit. Hope you all had a good Halloween!

Beca, Cyn and Jesse were sitting in a meeting room at Cyn's office, waiting for Chloe to arrive for her audition. The redhead had dropped Bella off at home with Mari after her appointment with her therapist and was on her way now.

"Nervous?" Cyn asked as she put her hand on Beca's knee to stop its bouncing.

"About the audition? No," the brunette replied. "About hearing how Bella did? Yes."

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and it slowly opened to reveal an anxious looking Chloe. She offered a brief smile, then stepped into the room and closed the door behind her. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and then looked at Beca.

"Hi, Doctor Bradford. It's good to see you again." She crossed to the table, sat her purse on it and then slipped into a chair, looking nervously around the room but ignoring Jesse and Cyn.

Beca blinked in surprise. Then she quickly picked up her script and flipped to the scene she knew Chloe was starting.

"Hi, Jessica," she said, reading from the lines. "It's good to see you too. It's been a while."

Jessica smiled briefly again and then cleared her throat. She looked down, hands wringing together in her lap. "It has indeed... um... thanks for seeing me at such short notice." She bit her bottom lip as her knee began to bounce.

Beca tilted her head. "You seem anxious, Jess. Want to tell me what's going on?"

Jessica was silent for a moment, then she slowly got up. "You know what? This was a mistake. I'm sorry for wasting your time." She went to pick up her bag, but Beca was quick to rise too and place a gentle hand on her arm.

"You know I won't ever make you talk but... I can see how upset you are. Maybe sharing will help?"

The redhead looked utterly distraught for a long moment and tears trekked silently down her cheeks as she shook her head. "Nothing I say will leave this room, right?"

"Patient confidentiality forbids me from revealing anything said in this session unless I feel like you're a danger to yourself or to others." Beca tilted her head questioningly. "Are you a danger to yourself or others, Jess?"

"No," the patient replied. "But I do feel like my mind is going to implode at any moment."

Beca retook her seat at the table and indicated that Jessica should sit too. "I'm listening, whenever you're ready."

The redhead paced back and forth for a long span of heartbeats before nodding and sitting down again. "My husband," she said quietly. "He murdered someone... and I can't get it out of my head."

Beca nodded, looking down at the script and quickly making a note with her pen. Chloe waited patiently, staying in character. Then the brunette nodded again. "Why and how do you think he murdered someone, Jessica?"

Jessica was up and pacing again, arms wrapped around herself. "I saw... I saw... fuck... He was c-covered in blood and... he told me he hit a deer, but I saw him arguing with someone. I saw him swing something... a tree branch maybe, I don't know. He didn't know I was there..." Tears welled in the redhead's eyes, and she began to breathe heavily, heading toward hyperventilation. "He's a good guy. He's always been a good guy... I mean..." She pressed her hand to her chest as if in pain and then shook her head. "I wouldn't have married him if..."

"Ok... let's just take a moment," Beca said gently, eyes on the older woman's face. "Just breathe, Jess. In and out."

"And cut!" Cyn said with a big smile on her face. "Exceptional, Chloe."

Chloe beamed a smile and grabbed a tissue offered to her by Jesse to dry her face. "Phew," she chuckled. "Thanks for letting me do that."

"No," the director replied. "That was a great way to approach it. We were immersed in the scene, and I loved being a fly on the wall."

"In fact, you've given me some ideas for camera angles and shots," Beca added, looking down at the note she made. She added a few more, then she looked at her friends. "Cyn, Jesse, I think I want to be the DP on this one too."

"Why don't you play the psychologist too," Cyn replied, pointing at the script in the brunette's hand.

Beca shook her head. "But I'm not an actor," she protested.

"However, you've just proved you can act," Chloe pointed out. "You were right there with me as my scene partner."

"I dunno," the younger woman said with a dubious frown. "I don't think..." She shook her head. "No, I'd rather be behind the camera."

"Alright," Jesse grinned, clapping his hands together. "Chloe, we have shit money to pay you, but we'd like to formally offer you the role of Jessica Hanson."

"Thank you! Have you settled on a final title for the movie?" Chloe asked.

"The Overflowing Desire... to Murder," Beca deadpanned, and the redhead laughed, throwing her tissue at her. "No, it's still up in the air at the moment so it'll be Working Title Psychological Flick for now."

"Oh, speaking of," Jesse interjected, bringing his laptop case up onto the table and rummaging in it. "Congratulations, Chloe." He handed a DVD to the actress and chuckled softly. "Last one for the shelf," he said.

It was bittersweet and Chloe stared at the cover for a long moment. "Wow," she said softly. "When is it officially being released?"

"Elektra King fans have been chomping at the bit so we're releasing it next week."

"Seems like so long ago now," Chloe murmured. "Almost a different lifetime."

"Hey," she glanced at Beca and then grinned. "Did Beca's scene make it in there?"

The brunette rolled her eyes and blushed a tad. "It did... but we obscured my face to make it seem real...er."

"And to hide your identity?" Cyn chuckled.

"Yeah," Beca shrugged. "I never should have done it. I kinda got caught up in the moment."

"Mmmm..." Chloe agreed. "But it was really fucking awesome, Church Mouse." Beca blushed bright red and took a sip of water, shaking her head sheepishly.

"Hey, can I have a copy?" the director asked then.

Chloe shrugged and slid her copy shamelessly across the table. "Have at it. I was there. I don't need to see it again." Beca gurgled and blushed harder. "It's ok, Bec, we're among friends."

"So..." Cyn went on, changing the subject. "Is there anything stopping us from beginning pre-production? Chloe, your schedule is clear, right?"

The redhead nodded. "Mostly. I have some auditions coming up, but I'll let my manager handle scheduling conflicts. That's what I'm paying him for." She winked impishly. "I did make it clear to him that this move gets priority though."

"Ok, great," Jesse smiled. "Then let's get started. Funding is in place, right?"

"Right," the director nodded. "The studio is onboard and now that we have a DP, Director, Producer and official lead actor, we can start casting the other roles. My casting agent friend already has feelers out. Jesse, can you reach out and start talking to companies to get trades in place?"

"You got it," the producer nodded.

Beca just stayed quiet and listened as Chloe's hand laced with hers under the table. She almost couldn't believe that this was real; that her movie was actually going to become a reality. For someone who started out not really even liking movies, it was certainly a surprise.

The meeting went on a little longer and then they went their separate ways. Beca and Chloe found themselves strolling hand in hand along the boardwalk where they'd had their first date months earlier.

"So, how did Bella do with Doctor Teefrage?" Beca asked. "Was she scared?"

Chloe pursed her lips. "Not scared per se, but she was definitely anxious when she realized what she was there for. I tried to prepare her somewhat in the car on the way to the office but, she's so young. It was hard for her to understand."

Beca nodded, squeezing her fiancée's hand gently. "And how did YOU do, Mom?"

"Oh, I stood outside the room listening in over the speaker, and cried every time she did," the redhead admitted.

The brunette stopped them walking and put her hands on Chloe's hips, tugging her close and looking into her eyes. "You know you have nothing to feel guilty about, right? This is hard for Bella right now, but it's the right thing to do for her, Baby."

The older woman smiled. "It's scary how well you know me," she said, sighing as she wrapped her arms around Beca's shoulders and took comfort from her. "But I know you're right. I just hate her thinking that she did anything wrong. Doctor Teefrage told her the same thing I did... that Armie did what he did because he isn't a good person, not because Bella had been bad. It broke my heart that she was taking that blame, Becs."

"She's strong, just like her Mom," Beca smiled. "She'll be ok... and hopefully, when this is all over, she won't even remember it."

"I hope so too," Chloe whispered. "I really hope so."

During lunch at a small boardwalk restaurant, the redhead was distracted, and she kept her phone by her, stealing glances as often as she could.

"So, I told him the llama should do it," Beca said casually, chin resting in her hand.

"Mmmm..." Chloe nodded as she sipped on a spoonful of chicken soup.

"He disagreed and wanted the cow to do it instead, in a tutu."

"Hmmm..." Chloe agreed, looking out over the sparking ocean, eyes far away.

"We agreed that you'd do it in the end. You look much hotter in a tutu."

"That's cool, Bec... no... wait..." Chloe looked at her, frowning. Beca batted her eyelashes at her and chuckled. "Did you say tutu?"

"You haven't heard a word I've said," the brunette laughed.

The actress leaned back in her chair, dabbing her lips with her napkin. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. "I know this is supposed to be time for us but I'm just..."

"Worried," Beca said. "I know. Do you want to go home and hug her?"

"Would that be ok?"

The younger woman nodded. "I kinda feel like I need munchkinhugs myself, honestly."

Chloe took Beca's hand and brought it to her lips to kiss its knuckles. "I love you," she said softly. "More than I ever knew I was capable of loving someone."

Beca took and released a deep breath. "I love you too," she replied. "And I love our family. Chloe... I... I want to... um... Do you think I could... I mean... I've been thinking and..." She stopped talking and wiped her hand over her face, unable to get the words out for some reason.

The redhead smiled adoringly. "It's ok. Just say it, Honey," she said.

Beca took a deep breath. "AfterwegetmarriedcanIadoptBella?" whooshed out of her then.

Chloe's face changed into something akin to shock and she took a breath as she blinked into sudden silence. "Um..."

Dark eyebrows furrowed. "I mean... if you don't want me to, it's totally cool. I just..."

"Beca," the redhead interrupted then, her face beaming a huge smile. "You took me a little by surprise, that's all. I'd LOVE that but... Baby, it's not just my decision. You know that, right? Dylan would have to agree too."

"No, I know," Beca nodded, grasping awkwardly at the back of her neck and unable to make eye contact with her partner. "But I kinda thought that... if you didn't want me too, there'd be no point in asking Dylan."

Chloe slowly got to her feet, understanding that the younger woman was a little skittish right at that moment. She circled the table and then, ignoring everyone else in the room, leaned in to kiss Beca gently on the lips. "You make me so happy," she said. "Take a moment. I'll be right back."

Beca nodded and watched the redhead walk toward the exit, grateful for the moment alone to drink some water and regain her composure.

In the meantime, Chloe was pulling her phone out of her pocket and hitting a contact. It was answered after a couple of rings. "Hey, Mom," she said, smiling reflexively. "How's Bella?"

Hi, Baby. Bella's fine. She's here with me watching cartoons and having a snack.

"Good... thanks, Mom. So, um, Beca and I are leaving soon to come home but... my fiancée needed a moment to herself, and I needed to talk to you really quickly."

Go ahead.

"Beca just asked me something that... well... it kinda blindsided me. She asked me if she can adopt Bella after we're married." Chloe giggled a little. "It almost caused her to have an aneurism from awkwardness, but she did it."

Hmmmmm... and, is this a panic call or... are you hesitant in some way?

"No... not at all," Chloe replied. "I'm just... what am I going to say to Dylan? And if he says no, how do I tell Beca?"

Mari laughed a little. Ok... Chloe, firstly, stay calm, Baby.

"I am," the redhead scowled. "I'm perfectly calm." There was silence for a moment. "Ok, I'm MOSTLY calm."

Mari ignored that. Secondly, my advice would be to sit down with Dylan and Beca and talk it through together.

"Mmmmm..." Chloe mused.

But I also think you should give Dylan a heads up about it. Blindsiding him could bring a negative response. You know how much he cherishes that little girl.

"I do," the actress agreed. "And really, Mom, it's not going to change anything except in name. Bella has already slipped and called Beca Mommy a couple of times. I think it's what made Beca think about adopting her in the first place."

Mari cleared her throat. Honestly, Chloe, I can see you and Beca having at least one kid together. Her adoption of Bella seems like a natural step. If she carries a baby, you'd want the kids to be legal siblings. If you carry another baby, it would be Bella's half bio sibling anyway.

"What if we asked Dylan to father another baby for us?" the redhead asked softly. "Then the two kids would be bio-siblings regardless of whether Beca or I were the egg doner."

Sounds like the three of you have a lot to talk about, Chlo.

"Yeah," Chloe agreed. "Hey, thanks for listening, Mom. Beca and I will be home soon."

They said their goodbyes and Chloe went back inside to find her fiancée patiently waiting for her. "Everything ok?" she asked.

"Yeah, I just called home to check on Bella. Ready to go?"

"Chloe..." the brunette added. "We're ok, right? I know I blindsided you a little."

"A little," Chloe acknowledged. "But in a good way. And I'm about to blindside you right back. What if we asked Dylan to be a doner for another baby? That way, Bella would have a bio-sibling."

"Oh shit, Dude!" Beca deadpanned. "I've opened a can of worms, haven't I? We went from having one kid to having two in the space of a phone conversation."

The redhead laughed and punched her lover playfully in the shoulder. "You love my crazy ideas."

"I certainly love THIS crazy idea," Beca replied, taking Chloe's hand and bringing it up to hold it against her lips. Her dark blue eyes were shimmering with emotion.

The actress smiled. "I think the three of us need to talk then."

Xx

Beca loved kissing Chloe. She even thought about it hazily as they were kissing in the shower and her breath stuttered, making her cough in the steam. The redhead pulled back a little, looking at her lover with concern. "You ok?"

"Yeah, I'm... being weird," Beca replied with a little laugh. "I extra turned myself on thinking about how much I love kissing you... while kissing you."

Chloe did have to giggle at that. "Dork," she teased. Then she closed her teeth gently on Beca's earlobe, flicking her tongue to lick droplets of water from it. "Have I ever told you how much I love your ears? They're really pretty."

"Now who's a dork," the brunette laughed. "But no, you've never told me that before." Open-mouthed kisses moved down her neck and she groaned as teeth nibbled at the hollow of her throat. "Chloe... do we have time for this?" she asked.

"Not sure I really care, right at this moment," the actress replied huskily as she pressed a strong thigh between her lover's. She anchored her hands on Beca's breasts as she kissed along her shoulder, then used a little suction to leave a nice mark there for later.

Beca tried to return the favor but sighed as Chloe put a finger against her lips. "I don't want to be the actress who had to have a hickey covered by her makeup artist on the very first day, Bec."

"What if I left one somewhere only you will see?" Beca asked.

Chloe's eyebrows lifted as the brunette slowly turned them, pressing her lover against the warm tile wall as she lowered herself to her knees. "God..." the redhead groaned as Beca lifted her leg and brought her lips to her inner thigh, taking her time in worrying a mark there that Chloe would truly be the only one to see.

She felt a hand grasp into her hair, and she lifted her chin to move higher, moaning at the first taste of the actress on her tongue. Chloe gasped and her hips jerked as her free hand moved to her breast to caress it.

Beca smiled as her eyes lifted to meet dilated blue. She loved watching Chloe touch herself; loved knowing that the older woman's inhibitions were near zero when it came to sex. It was so hot to see Chloe's hand creep down her own abs and then lower to press her own fingers inside herself as Beca feasted on her clit.

"Mommy!" Chloe suddenly heard on the other side of the bathroom door and her heart nearly stopped when she saw the handle start to move.

"Don't come in, Baby Girl!" she called breathlessly. "Wait in... uuugghhh... wait out there, ok?"

"But I'm hungry," Bella protested.

"Wait your turn, kid, I'm thirsty," Beca growled quietly against Chloe's folds.

"Fuck, Beca," the redhead groaned. "I should... I need to..."

"You need to come for me," the brunette replied, wrapping her arms around her lover's hips and redoubling her efforts.

Chloe was gone; seriously gone. A bomb could have dropped on the house and the explosion would have been nothing compared to the orgasm that was hurtling toward her. She fucked herself harder... faster... hips bucking her clit into Beca's mouth... onto Beca's willing tongue... as she rolled her nipple between the thumb and index finger of her left hand.

"Mommy?! Are you almost finished?!"

"Oh, for the love of..." And just like that... her climax stalled... then totally derailed, and Chloe tipped her head back, banging it against the tile wall in frustration. "It's ok, Bec," she said then, retrieving her fingers. "I can't."

"Sorry, Baby," the brunette frowned, as she got to her feet and gently kissed her lips.

"Totally not your fault," Chloe chuckled. "Our kid is a passionkiller." Then she looked toward the door. "Almost done, Bells! Be right there!"

They quickly finished their shower and got dressed, Beca in jeans and a black button up and Chloe in sweatpants and a T-shirt, makeup free with her glasses perched on her nose. It was six am and time to head for the studio. Mari would drop Bella to school later.

Chloe hugged her daughter and kissed her cheek. "Have a good day, Baby Girl."

"Happy First Day Luck!" the little girl replied, giving Chloe as high five and making her melt and forget about the cockblocking stunt from earlier. "Love you, Mommy!"

"I love you too, Bella."

Beca ruffled the little girl's hair and then kissed the top of her head. "Seeya, MiniBeale. Love you."
