"They say, if you wanna tell a story right, you gotta start at the beginning. My name is Harleen Quinzel. When I was a kid, my dad traded me for a six-pack of beer. But however, many times he tried to ditch me...I kept coming back."
Then a young Harleen is currently being kicked out of a car and sent to an orphanage
"Eventually, he found me a new home. The good sisters of St. Bernadette's taught me a lot. But I was never an establishment kinda gal. All things considered, I did well. Got my Ph.D."
Harleen is getting her Ph.D.
"I even went to college. I even fell in love."
Harleen was on top of Central City College, making out with Spider-Man.
"But I had to give him up."
Peter and Harleen, after graduating, knew that they needed to leave. Even though neither of them wanted to break up, Central City needed Spider-Man, and Harley was on her way to Gotham.
"So, I threw myself into my work, and became a psychiatrist."
Then Harley was sitting across from a chamber with the Joker.
"That's when I met him. Mr. J. My Joker."
Then she and Joker shared a few talks before she starts to blush around him.
"Oh, I fell hard. Like out of a plane without a parachute, right in your dumb face kinda hard."
Harley then fell and slammed into the pot of chemicals.
"I lost all sense of who I was."
Then Harley emerges from the chemicals and is now the psychotic criminal known as Harley Quinn.
"I only had eyes for Puddin'. We all know the saying, "Behind every successful man "there's a badass broad."
"That's not a saying." Someone interrupted her.
"Well, that was me. I was the brains behind some of Mr. J's greatest stunts. Not that he let anyone know it."
In reality, Harley Quinn, the Gotham City Siren, one of Gotham's most profound criminals, was transported to this Earth as well. Pulled out from another BRANCH of the multiverse and dragged along to this universe as the others were.
But she wasn't dragged to New York, but instead Los Angeles, where she wounded up inside the office of Jennifer Walters. But luckily she was currently out on a case already and was left with her best friend.
"So, let me get this straight, you have been in a toxic relationship for years and had a good guy in your grasp?" Nikki Ramos asks her.
"I still do." Harley admitted as she laid down on the couch. "You should see what I can do to him when he visits. That stupid Bat keeps getting in the way."
"Why don't you dump that freak joker?" Nikki asks her.
"I've tried, but.." Harley admits.
"But nothing! This guy has beaten you. Thrown you out of buildings!" Nikki recapped everything that Harley has told him. "You are the brains, yet you think you're nothing without him?"
"True." Harley hummed to herself.
"What about that boy? Is he seeing anyone?" Nikki asks him.
"No." Harley admitted. "I follow him on Twitter, so I know he's single."
"So why don't you go home, take a break from this freak, then see about your old gamble?"
"Do you think that Peter would take me back?" Harley asks her.
"Girl, look at you, get yourself cleaned up, maybe a change of wardrobe. You'll be great." Nikki promises her.
"You're right!" Harley said as she jumped to her feet. "I'm going to finally break it off with the Joker!" Then her body started to glow similar to the others. "I'm coming, Peter!"
Then she vanished in a flash of light, consuming Nikki's eyesight as she left. Then the light vanished as well as Harley.
That's when Jennifer returned in her She-Hulk form. "Hey, Nikki. What's happening?"
"Oh, nothing, girl talk with someone." Nikki shrugged as she just continues to sit and thought of Harley.
