The team finally arrived on the banks of some mysterious island. They exited the skiff and started to walk further on to land when a woman approached them. "Well, it's about time you all made it. Come along now, we need to get going," she said in a brisk tone that reminded them too much of McGonagall. They kept up with the fast pace of the mysterious woman as they passed ruins of what looked to be an ancient city. Narcissa stuck to the rear of the group as she took stock of their surroundings and the extremely tall woman with brown hair and green eyes who wore a simple black frock.

As they drew closer to what seemed like the middle of the island, they beheld a wondrous sight. There, in the dead center of the whole island, was the largest tree any of them had ever seen. They approached to see two more tall figures standing below it. The two figures looked identical to the woman who had brought them. They glanced up from their work briefly, only to quickly go back to what they were doing with a synchronized sigh. "So, they finally made it then? Well, better get started sister. We're going to have to water the tree soon. Wait…why isn't the alpha with you?" The woman in red asked as she looked up from the loom she had been using.

"She was sucked into the portal while pulling the beast with her to save us," Luna said

"Well, that was dumb. Oh well, such is the mentality of mortals, I suppose. Could have been worse. Anyway, let's get on with this then. You lot are here for some weapons, I gather?" The third woman who wore white asked. Narcissa became annoyed at their dismissal of Hermione.

"Don't talk about Hermione as if her sacrifice meant nothing! Who in Merlin's name are you to say such things? If not for her, lives would have been lost! You have no right!"

"Oh! I like this omega better than the last one. She's got fire! Can we keep her, sister?" The woman in white asked. The woman in black sighed.

"Sister, you know damn well we cannot! In regards to your question, we are known by many names: sisters of fate, the norns, the list goes on. As to having the right, well, technically we do. We weave the fate of all mortals and in different realities as well. So when my sister carelessly said that, it's because we have seen many different versions of that same scenario. We see all, know all, yes, Weasley siblings, that means we see the future. No, we will not tell you your futures," the woman in black explained.

"I believe we should get to the part where we give them what they came for before it's time to water the tree. We cannot be delayed. So, who is to be the wielder of Excalibur?" The woman in red spoke in annoyance.

"I believe that is to be me, or so I am told," Draco stepped up.

"Hhmm…let's have a look at you boy," The woman in white said as she gripped his chin and looked deep into his eyes as if she were searching his soul. When she let him go, she nodded. "Yes, you will do fine to wield the sword. Now, if you were to try to carry Mjölnir, you wouldn't make the cut, but that's not the weapon you seek. As for the rest of you, we have other weapons to suit your needs. So what's everyone's fighting style?"

The group stood before the woman in white to be judged for which mythical weapon would suit them best. Ginny was given Carnwennan, a dagger that could not only clone itself for dual wielding, but also made it so that the person using it could shroud themselves in shadow. Draco not only received Excalibur but also Wynebgwrthucher, Arthur's shield, which could withstand mighty blows. Luna claimed Sir Tristan's Fail-not, whose legend spoke of how the archer that let loose an arrow from this bow never missed its target. Ron received Rhongowennan, Arthur's spear, that could pierce any armor. All three of the women turned to look at Narissa.

"For you, feisty omega, we give you the Ring of Dispell, its power helps negate all enchantments. This might come in handy for you and your mate. You already wield Merlin's staff, so what would suit your mate?" The woman in red asked.

"Knowing my alpha and the situation that we will be in, she will probably want a staff," Narcissa said thoughtfully.

"Ah! A wise decision for this battle to come, then. You must wield Morgana le Fay's staff," the woman in white said.

"This staff is Merlin's twin staff," the woman in black said.

"Though it works best when wielded by an omega, whereas Merlin's staff works best when used by an alpha, since Merlin was an alpha and Morgana was an omega. This will work beautifully for you," The woman in red offered.

"If you say so," Narcissa sighed. The Norns looked at one another for a moment, then nodded as coming to an unspoken agreement.

"All will be well once you are fully reunited with your mate," they said in unison.

They presented her with a white staff. When she held it in her hands, it felt like a warm embrace that welcomed her use of it. It resonated the feeling of seeing an old friend once more and that no time had passed between them. She let out a sigh of relief. "Gods, this feels lovely in my hand, too bad I won't be able to keep it after this is all over with," Narcissa mused sadly.

"Take care of it for however long you possess it. That staff will serve you well. Now, we should inform you of some of what you will encounter when you leave here. You will be facing a Jötnar. Oh, and feisty omega, you'll love this, your ex husband is with her now as well, so you get to take your revenge on him when you see him. Do with that what you will because you'll have to rescue your damsel in distress when you get there, just keep that in mind. Now, as for the rest of your ordeal, this includes all of you, will have to deal with the Jötnar. How you do that is up to you, but you have the means to do with it as you will. We've seen a few different outcomes. Best of luck to you because this is where we ship you off to the dimension where the alpha is, while we go back to water the tree. Good luck!" The woman in white declared before snapping her fingers and sending them all to the realm of Jötnar.
