Chapter 2
Party!
Donald and Goofy lead Sora to the special surprise birthday party that Kairi and Riku have organised near the well known Paopu Fruit tree on the Island. Donald magically blind folds Sora with a giggle. Sora is confused as to why he had to be blind folded but Goofy explains that it wouldn't be a surprise. Goofy lends then a shoulder for Sora to rest his hand on while being lead to the party. When they arrive and come to a holt, all whats heard is the sound of the waves again. Sora asks if they are there yet and both Donald and Goofy say he can remove his blind fold. To Sora's surprise and delight Riku and Kairi and lots of other local friends have gathered to celebrate Sora's Birthday.
Donald: Ok Sora, you just have to wear this! Ha ha!
Sora: Whooooaa! Why?
Goofy: It wouldn't be a suprise if you were looking would it?
Sora: Ohhh man, your enjoying this an't you?
Donald: HA HA HA HA HA HA
Sora: Donald, you can be so evil sometimes!
Goofy: Here Sora, you can place you hand on my shoulder for guidence and we will lead you there. Ah-hyuck!
Sora: Thanks Goofy.
Meanwhile, Riku and Kairi are just putting the candles on Sora's cake while Riku spots Donald and Goofy approaching.
Riku: Hey Kairi, they are almost here, smart move for making Sora blind folded! OK EVERYONE HUSH NOW!
Riku quietened the party guests, locals who were Sora, Kairi & Riku's friends. He was hoping that Sora hadn't heard him as it would have spolit the surprise.
Kairi: They are getting closer, as soon as the blind fold comes off we yell out surprise!
Riku smiled and nodded with his fingers crossed hoping that they can pull this off! Goofy, Donald and Sora were almost there. Sora could feel that they were slowing down, but had no idea where he was being lead too.
Sora: Hey guys are we almost there? Can i take my blind fold off now?
Donald: No peeking Sora or i'll magically tie your hands together!
Sora: Hump fine... gosh your grumpy today Donald!
Goofy starts giggling.
Donald: and you Goofy you make sure to lead Sora to the party in one piece.
Goofy: Ok Donald, dont worry! We are almost there anyway!
Sora really didnt like being blind folded, all he could see was complete darkness. He hoped that this was not a nausty evil trick and that he had'nt been capsured by the heartless. Still he always had his keyblade ready, only if he could see it. The 3 friends came to a holt and all that was heard was the sound of waves gentley crashing. Sora could feel what felt like sand underneath his shoes.
Sora: Oh? We have stopped!
Goofy & Donald: Ok Sora, you can take off your blind fold now!
Riku, Kairi and Party Guests: SURPRISE!
Sora: Oh wow, is this all for me?
Sora stood there in happiness, seeing that his friends had organised a party underneath the Paopu Fruit Tree. The area was decorated with balloons, streamers and presents. Kairi came over to see Sora to hug him and to wish him a Happy Birthday.
Kairi: Happy Birthday Sora! Hope you like it!
Sora: Oh yes Kairi, its fantastic! I've never been so surprised!
Sora then continued to hug Kairi as Riku came over.
Riku: Hey Sora, Happy Birthday!
Sora and Riku high fived. Then Sora found he was being lead to a big long table full of food and drink along with a keyblade shaped cake.
Kairi: The cake is from the 3 Good Fairies.
Sora: WOW! This is awesome!
Sora looked around to see, all his local island friends present as they all crowded around the table along with Donald and Goofy.
Riku: Now lets light those candles and you can make a wish.
Sora: Oh i can do it! I can make fire!
Sora made his keyblade appear in his hand in a flash of light.
Kairi: Ah Sora, no offence but maybe some matches might be a better idea! Riku matches!
Riku: Kairi's right Sora, we dont want to burn the table up!
Sora: Ohhhh...alright...!
Sora made his keyblade disappear in seconds in another flash of light. Riku found some matches and lit the 16 candles that were on the cake. All those who were present broke out in singing the Happy Birthday Song to Sora. After they had finished it was time for Sora to below out his candles. Sora closed his eyes to make a wish and in a few short seconds he smiled and blow out the candles. Everyone clapped and cheered.
Kairi: So Sora, what did you wish for?
Sora: If i tell you, it will not come true!
Suddenly, a cold wind came swelling through and the sky was forming grey clouds. The balloons were flying away and everything on the table including Sora's cake went flying!
Riku: Whats going on? This is not what you wished for Sora?
Sora: NO promise!
Riku: Everyone take cover!
Kairi: What's happening?
Sora: Kairi get to safety, this does not feel like an ordinary weather change.
Kairi: But i want to go with you!
Riku: Sora's right for once, find somewhere safe. We might need our keyblades for protection.
Sora: HEY!
Kairi: You guys can protect me. Plus i will be in training soon, i can maybe get some tips?
Sora: Alright but stay behind us.
Donald & Goofy: We'll come too!
While all the locals ran to safety, Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald and Goofy observed this strange weather pattern. The wind was getting colder and skies darker. Even the ocean was starting to look grey and rough.
Riku: Hey guys what's that in the water?
The group went to look in the same direction that Riku was looking in and could also see something.
Sora: Oh no someones in trouble!
Goofy: Sora be careful!
Kairi: I see... tenticles?
The group: TENTICLES!
Women: You-hoo! Let's Party! I didnt miss the cake and icecream did i?
