Hi guys. Well, it's the second part of the epilogue. Let's wrap this up. Enjoy.
Tails woke up. But he didn't yet get back up on his feet; he just kept lying and staring at the ground.
He thought he had died.
He had.
Then, he got up quickly. He looked around in pure awe, only to see that all that was surrounding him was a white void.
For a moment, Tails got scared, but the very next moment, he instantly felt relaxed.
"Hello?" he called out.
For a few seconds, nothing.
This, of course, got the fox scared, for the possibility that he would have to spend the eternity in this middle of nowhere, all alone.
Just a few seconds later, though...
"Tails?" a voice was heard from a distance.
Tails immediately turned around, in the direction that the voice was heard from, hoping that it came from a being very important to him.
Turns out - that was exactly the case.
And Tails ran faster in that direction, tears of joy forming in his eyes.
And after a few moments - he really saw her.
He saw Cosmo, just standing there, in the middle of the void...
Shining.
"Cosmo!" Tails yelled.
"Tails..." the seedrian spoke back. The instant she saw him, she ran happily towards him as well.
It didn't take too long for their hands to finally touch, for the two to enter the most joyous hug.
They both cried enormous tears of joy.
"I missed you," the fox whispered in Cosmo's ear. "Have I already told you that?"
Cosmo giggled to this.
"I missed you too," she replied. After a few seconds, she wondered about something. "So... now what?"
That was when they both looked around and realized - that it was all white void that surrounded them.
And that, apparently, it was gonna stay forever.
"I guess this is it," Tails answered the seedrian's question. "This means that our journey is over," he added with a smile on his face.
Cosmo was kind of shocked upon this statement, but Tails held her hands firmly.
"I'm glad I'm with you," he spoke.
Cosmo smiled.
"I'm glad I'm with you as well," she spoke back.
All that was left for them to do - was get back in the hug. One which would last forever.
And kiss, of course.
"I love you, Cosmo," Tails said.
"I love you too," Cosmo said too.
They were happy.
