They've been sitting there for hours just waiting for her to wake up. As the hours go on, each and every McCord begins to feel their anger and hurt set in as their daughter and sister lay injured. The detectives have checked in with them as they wish to ask Jason questions about last night, yet Henry and Elizabeth do not want their children out of sight.

Henry called work and his children's school citing personal reasons while Elizabeth called for her and Stevie, She told those in her inner circle the truth as they could get ahead of the press and to make sure she doesn't have anything pressing to do so she doesn't have to leave her family. After that she requested Blake to transfer her to Russell's office so she could call for Stevie and let him and the President know what was going on. As she expected both the President and Russell were apologetic and were willing to help if they needed it. The president told her and Stevie to take however long they needed and that the Deputy Secretary will be stepping in till she gets back.

Later that night

The McCord's were all sitting around Alison's room surrounded by flowers from her staff and from the President's office trying to eat the Chinese that Blake sent over when out of the corner of Henry's eye, He saw Alison move. He rushed to her as she started to panic, trying to pull the tube out her mouth. Everyone is trying to calm her down while Stevie rushes out of the room trying to locate her nurse. Medical staff rushed in as Elizabeth was able to sooth Alison enough as her monitors were beeping out of control. Her doctor was able to determine that Alison no longer needed to be intubated. The extubation was over quickly as Alison became more aware of her surroundings and the pain was starting to settle in as she was able to piece together some of what had happened to her. Tears started to well up in her eyes as she could hear her doctor talking as she examined her. Alison holds out her hands to her parents, scared out of her mind. She refocuses on her doctor trying to understand what's wrong with her. Everyone looks to the doctor as she says, "well Alison you have been through a lot but I was wondering if you could tell me what you remember?" Alison looks back at her family, her parents ask if she would be more comfortable if they waited outside, but once that was mentioned she started to yell in a raspy voice for them not to leave her. As her family rushes to calm her down again and assure her that they will never leave her, her doctor restates her question. Alison takes a deep breath as she starts to describe what happened, she realizes that there are pieces of her memory missing and as the more she talks the more she is crying into her mom's arms with her dad holding her hand and her siblings hugging their parents, trying to comfort each other. After she is done, her doctor clears her throat, she thanks Alison's for sharing that and apologizes to her for what she has been through. Then, her doctor asks, "I am going to tell you about your injuries as well as your next steps in your recovery". Alison nods her head. "You have three broken ribs on your right side and one punctured your lung which caused you to need surgery, bruised ribs on your left, swelling and bruises along her neck show signs of strangulation, bruising along her back, arms, and legs. Also, Bruising on your knuckles, a mild concussion, and a sprained wrist on your left hand. As per your parents and hospital policy a sexual assault forensic examination which is also known as a rap kit was done, and we are still waiting on those results. One thing that already came back was your blood work, and there were traces of Ketamine and GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyric acid) which are common 'date rape' drugs", her doctor stated and she continued asking if anyone had any questions. Everyone shook their heads so the doctor left after telling them that barring any complication that Alison would be able to leave in three days. The McCord's all made themselves comfortable again but this time they moved as close to Alison as possible as she seems to desperately want them near her. Now, they wait for the appending arrival of chaos outside the room from the detectives, rape kit results, and everyday life making their way into disrupting the McCord family even greater turmoil.
