(The special begins with a view of a scarecrow with a pumpkin for a head. The scarecrow is in a cemetary very similar to the one in the 1993 Tim Burton film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. The camera moves to the right of the screen, past the cemetery, until it comes to Spiral Hill, directly in front of the moon. Standing atop Spiral Hill is Jack Skellington, who the camera then zooms in on)
Jack Skellington (singing): "Tonight's my night, I'm The Pumpkin Guy,"
(The camera cuts to a zoomed-in view of Jack Skellington. He is standing on the right side of the screen)
Jack Skellington (singing): On all Hallow's eve, I'll fly through the sky, but alas and alack, I'm bored out of my skull, my once favorite holiday has grown so dull!"
(As Jack is singing, his Ghost Dog, a parody of Zero, flies towards him. The Ghost Dog has taken the form of a piece of tissue paper in a box. Jack picks up his Ghost Dog and blows his nose on him. He then puts him back in the box as it flies away)
Jack Skellington (singing): "It's tired, trite, and also routine."
(The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as Spiral Hill forms into an escalator, which Jack Skellington rides down)
Jack Skellington (singing): "I crave different thrills on this Halloween."
(Jack walks offscreen. The camera cuts to a view of the forest he is in as the sun rises. Jack gasps upon what he sees. The camera cuts to a view of a tree with a picture of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington wearing party hats with a birthday cake on its door, indicating President's Day. It then moves to the left side of the screen, until it reaches a tree with a picture of a groundhog under the sun, seeing its shadow on its door, indicating Groundhog Day. It then moves to the left side of the screen again, until it reaches a tree with a picture of a calendar that says, APRIL 15 on its door, indicating Tax Day. It then cuts to a view of Jack, who is impressed with what he sees as he looks around. When he reaches the right side of the screen, he gasps, seeming to have made a decision. The camera then cuts to a view of a tree with the DC Superhero Girls and Aura Guardian star and PokéBall logo on its door and zooms in on it. It then cuts back to Jack, who gasps again as he walks toward the door)
Jack Skellington (singing): "I wonder what hides beyond this door,"
(The camera cuts to an opposing view of the doorknob, where Jack's reflection can be seen as he prepares to grab it with his right hand)
Jack Skellington (singing): "It just might be what I'm looking for."
(Jack grabs the doorknob and turns it. The camera cuts to a zoomed-out view as he prepares to open it. An instrumental of the Tiny Toon Adventures Theme Song plays as the door collapses atop Jack, flattening him. Ash jumps out of the doorway and lands on the door)
Ash (singing): "We're super,"
Zee (singing as she jumps out of the doorway and lands on the door): "We're heroes,"
(Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen, Diana, the Sailor Scouts, and the Spies all appear onscreen in front of them)
Ash, Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen, Diana, Sailor Scouts, and Spies (singing): "We're just a little looney,"
(The camera cuts to a view of the full moon at night and moves down until it reaches the cemetery. Ash and Zee resemble and even act like zombies)
Ash, Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen, Diana, Sailor Scouts, and Spies (singing): "And under a full mooney, we're something to be seen!"
(The camera cuts to a view of Kara and Jessica in a haunted mansion)
Kara (singing): "Things could get hairy,"
Jessica (singing as he turns into a werewolf girl and scares Kara, who then turns into a Frankenstein monster girl): "And just a little scary,"
Ash and Zee (singing as they appear onscreen): "So we're saying to be wary, on this Halloween!"
(The camera cuts to a view of a blue background. A ghoul, a ghost, and a goblin all appear onscreen, keeping in rhythm with the song. The goblin ducks, revealing Ash and Zee behind him)
Ash and Zee (singing offscreen): "Ghouls, ghosts, and goblins are coming out at night,"
Babs and Harleen (singing as they appear on the right side of the screen): "They'll flex their jaws,"
Barry and Garth (singing as they appear on the left side of the screen): "And show their claws,"
Ash, Zee, Babs, Harleen, Barry, and Garth: "Filling us with fright!"
(As they sing, the screen turns bright, then the camera zooms out, revealing the full moon as bats fly from it. The camera cuts to a view of Hal and Carol together, in front of a blue background)
Hal (singing as he points to Carol with his left arm): "The monsters will find you,"
Carol (singing as she points to the left side of the screen with her right arm): "You better look behind you,"
(The camera zooms out, revealing the silhouette of a Frankenstein monster on the left side of the screen, which Hal stares in shock at. The screen goes dark, then the faces of Ash, Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen and Diana appear, holding flashlights underneath)
Ash, Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen (singing): "It's Superhero Adventures, and it's quite a sight!"
(The camera cuts to a view of Ash and Zee at the cemetary at night. They are dressed in old-fashioned clothes, namely a red tuxedo and a dark blue bow tie for Ash and a blue dress and pink hat for Zee)
Ash (singing): "The holiday's started,"
(The camera zooms out, revealing a tombstone on the left side of the screen, which a vulture is sitting atop)
Zee (singing): "To bless the dear departed,"
Ash and Zee (singing as they jump in front of the background and pull it up, revealing Carol, Garth, Barry, and two children sitting around a campfire): "And now, for the faint-hearted,"
Carol (singing): "We're telling scary tales!"
(Carol makes a scary face, which scares Garth, Barry, and the children. The camera cuts to a view of Garth and Hal in front of a blue background. Garth is dressed like Freddy Kreuger from the A Nightmare on Elm Street film series, and Hal is dressed like J. Paul Getty)
Garth and Hal (singing): "Our costumes are ready!"
Garth (singing as he puts his hat on): "I'm dressing up as Freddy!"
Hal (singing as he pulls a wad of cash out of his tuxedo with his right arm): "I'll be J. Paul Getty!"
Meowth (singing as he jumps in and puts on a Soupy Sales head): "I'm the scary Soupy Sales!"
(Hal and Garth huddle up against each other and stare in fear. The camera cuts to a view outside a house. On the left side of the screen, Barry is dressed like Barney Rubble from The Flintstones and Rose is dressed like Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie. On the right side of the screen, Garth is dressed like Freddy Kreuger and Tatsu is dressed like a samurai warrior from that Batman Ninjas show.)
Barry, Rose, Garth, and Tatsu (singing): "We'll wear our outfits, and knock on neighbors' doors,"
(Hal knocks on the door with his right hand. The camera cuts to a side view of the door as a human hand reaches out and places the candy in Barry, Rose, Hal, and Tatsu's trick-or-treat bags)
Garth (singing): "We'll trick or treat,"
Barry (singing): "And then we'll eat,"
(The camera zooms out, revealing Barry, Rose, Garth, and Tatsu's trick-or-treat bags to be very full)
Barry, Rose, Garth, and Tatsu (singing): "Candies by the score!"
(The camera cuts to a view of Jack Skellington in front of a purple background. Garth and Barry suddenly appear on the left side of the screen, and Ash and Hal appear on the right)
Ash, Garth, Barry and Hal (singing) "We're fearful,"
(Carol suddenly appears on the left side of the screen and Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen, Diana, Sailor Scouts, and Spies appear on the right)
Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen, Diana, Carol, Tatsu, Sailor Scouts, and Spies (singing): "We're frightening,"
Babs (singing as she points to Jack Skellington with her right arm): "Watch out for that lightning!"
(The lightning strikes Jack, scorching him)
Ash, Garth, Barry, Hal, Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen, Diana, Carol, Tatsu, Sailor Scouts, and Spies (singing): "It's Superhero Adventures and it's Halloween!"
(The title card, "DC Superhero Girls and Aura Guardian: Night Ghoulery", plummets down and flattens Jack. Ash and the Superhero Girls emerge from star and PokéBall logo, with Ash and Zee dressed like vampires, and the rest of the girls are dressed as different monsters)
Ash, Zee, Babs, Kara, Jessica, Karen and Diana (singing): "Now let the show be-geen!"
Jack Skellington (wearily as he lifts up the title card): "How long till' Mother's Day?"
(The screen fades to black)
It was a stormy Halloween Night in Gotham City. The Arkham Reform School is a facility that holds some of the most dangerous criminals known to mankind. Including the most dangerous person in all of Gotham.
[rain pattering]
[wind howling]
[thunder rumbling]
[cart squeaking]
Warden: [pushing a cart; tossing candy bags into cells] Oh, Happy Halloween. Oh, Happy-
That's when he saw the number one cell was empty!
Warden: Uh-oh. [through a walkie talkie] Our star pupil has flown the coop!
When he went in, all he could see was a jack-in-the-box! When he began to play it...
[Joker's voice vocalizing menacingly]
That made the warden nervous! As soon as it was finished playing, an explosion of green gas and balloons could be seen from the asylum, and a certain clown Batman knew very well was watching from another building on top!
Joker: [sighs] Nothing like being home for the holidays. [laughing maniacally]
That could mean trouble! Meanwhile, in Metropolis, our heroes were enjoying a nice time at Sweet Justice! The place was even decorated for Halloween!
Ash: [eating ice cream] Nothing like some good Halloween treats!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Blossom: You said it!
The Pokémon were enjoying Poké Puffs, courtesy of Serena!
Serena: You know, this kind of celebration reminds me of the time we took part in the Gourgeist Festival in the Kalos Region!
Ash: Yeah, I know!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Zee: Gourgeist Festival?
Diana: What is this Gourgeist Festival you speak of?
Jessica: Is it about celebrating Gourgeist?
Ash: Actually, it's a holiday celebrated in the Kalos Region! Participants get dressed up in costumes of Pokémon and on the streets, they get to trade sweets with each other! And at the end of the festival, there's a magnificent display of fireworks! And sometimes, you might see some wild Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist in all different sizes wandering the streets and joining in on the festivities!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Diana: [pulling out her Rotom Phone] Let's see about this Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist!
Rotom Dex: [floats down] Leave it to me, Miss Prince! Pumpkaboo, the Pumpkin Pokémon. A Ghost and Grass type. The pumpkin body is inhabited by a spirit trapped in this world. As the sun sets, it becomes restless and active. [changes to Gourgeist] Gourgeist, the Pumpkin Pokémon. A Ghost and Grass type, and the evolved form of Pumpkaboo. Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon. Anyone who hears their song is cursed.
Karen: [gulps nervously]
Zee's Gengar: [sings creepily] GENGAR GEN...
Zee: Gengar, knock it off!
Zee's Gengar: [frowns] GAR.
Zee: I know it's Halloween, but save your spookiness for later, okay?
Zee's Gengar: [affirmative] GENGAR!
Goh: I'm still surprised that your Haunter evolved into a Gengar, Zee!
Zee: I know! Ooh. My dad's a miracle worker!
Zee's Sylveon: SYLVEON!
Blossom: It's kinda ironic! You and Serena both have Sylveon while you and Ash both have Gengar!
Ash: Well, unlike Zee's Gengar, which is a regular dark purple, my Gengar's a lighter shade of purple!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Bubbles: [looks closely at the two Gengar] You're right! Their purple colors are different!
Serena: [smiles] And Zee puts her Sylveon in an adorably stylish outfit!
Zee: It's true!
The magic girl then hugged up against her soulmate!
Zee: But there's nothing I equally love than my Ashykins!
Ash: [smiles; blushes] Aww, Zee! Oh! By the way, you guys doing anything on this All Hallow's Eve?
Kara: Not really! I was planning to TP someone's house!
Ash: Yeah, no! Wouldn't you rather wanna go out trick-or-treating and get some sweets and see what kinds of Ghost and Dark Pokémon are lurking in the shadows?
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Kara: [scoffs] Yeah, right! Who would want to get dressed up in lame costumes?
That was when Babs appeared dressed as Wonder Woman!
Babs: Who's ready for Halloween? Great Hera!
Diana: I do not say "Great Hera." I have met Hera and trust me, she is not so great.
Ash: But still, nice costume Babs!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Babs: Thanks, Ash!
Lana: [to Diana] But, Diana! You do say "great Hera"!
Diana: Since when?
Zee: Wait a sec. Babs, you're actually going trick-or-treating this year?
Babs: You know I am!
Ash: At least you're getting into the Halloween spirit!
Chloe: Clearly!
Diana: Well, I'm flattered by Bab's costume choice. I must admit, some Halloween traditions are still foreign to me.
Jessica: Trick-or-treating is a big part of the Halloween experience, Diana.
Ash: Yeah! You get all kinds of treats! Like chocolates and candies and cookies! And you can even get toys and stickers too!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Ash: But one of the best parts of Halloween is the costumes and hearing spooky stories!
Lana: Spooky stories are the best!
Serena: And dressing up in costumes, too!
Kara: Yeah, and it's actually kind of fun for nine-year-olds and wackadoos.
Ash: [annoyed] So you're saying some of us are wackadoos, Kara?!
Pikachu: [annoyed] PIKACHU!
Bonnie: [pouts] Hey!
Kara: Well, you and some of your friends I would understand, little bro! But I don't see the rest of us wearing costumes!
Zee: Well, I often try to find costumes that try to give me more sex appeal to make my Ashykins feel even more attracted to me!
Ash: [blushes madly] Z-Zee!
Zee: What? You know it's true and I know it's true!
Ash: They don't need to know everything! It's our private time!
Zee: Oh! Oops!
Ash: [blushes] But then again, I always turn completely red in the face when you're flirting with me while wearing those costumes!
Zee: True!
Then, she wrapped an arm around him and began to scratch his chin with her fingernail!
Zee: And that just shows how sexy you think I am!
Ash: [blushes; chuckles] Zee, you always are!
Zee: [giggles]
Ash: Anyway, Babs! Do you have a plan as to where you're going to go trick-or-treating?
Babs: I thought you'd never ask! You see—
Harleen: Great Hera!
Turns out Harleen came too! And she was also dressed as Wonder Woman!
Babs and Harleen: [gasps] What a coinkydink! Jinx! [hug each other]
Kara: [nudges Jessica] See? Nine-year-olds.
Gladion: [groans and shakes his head]
Ash: I take it you're going trick-or-treating too, aren't you, Harleen?
Pikachu: PIKACHU?
Harleen: You got it!
She then pulled him into a head lock and started to noogie him!
Harleen: That's usin' yer noggin!
Ash: [laughs]
Harleen: [giggles]
Diana and Goh weren't too fond of this and started to have a flashback of when they discovered the terrifying truth of Harleen!
Harleen: [laughing maniacally]
Diana and Goh started to picture Harleen as Harley Quinn!
Diana: You are Harley Qui–
Harleen: [silences her by placing a finger on her lips] Shh! Think I gotta cash in that big favor you owe me and ask you to keep a little secret. [winks sinisterly]
Diana: [gasps]
Goh: I think this is a major uh-oh!
Then, the flashback ended with them having worried looks on their faces!
Diana: [gasps]
Goh: [in his head] Doing something with Harleen might lead to trouble!
Grookey: [sad] GROOKEY.
Babs: Ever since we were little, Harls and me have spent every Halloween together.
Harleen: Nothing but [winks] tricks, treats and mayhem.
Goh: [mutters] Probably because the girl who's Harley Quinn makes the scene.
Lillie: Hm? What was that, Goh?
Harleen: [suspicious] Yeah, what was that, Gohsy?
Goh: Uh, nothing! I said nothing!
Amara: What else do you do in this tradition of yours?
Babs: Topped off at midnight [as she and Harleen pull out their phones] with our favorite Gotham Halloween tradition.
Babs and Harleen: The Big Pumpkin Drop at Wayne Tower!
Ash: A Big Pumpkin Drop, huh? That sounds intriguing!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Buttercup: Sick! Do blobs of pumpkin goo explode all over the place?
Babs: Um... No!
Harleen: Sorry, BC! I wish!
Buttercup: Rats!
Harleen: Come on, Babsie-Wabsie, Gotham's-a-callin'!
Ash: Hold on! Got room for one more?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Ash: I wanna check out this Pumpkin Drop!
Babs and Harleen smiled eagerly!
Babs: We thought you'd never ask! But you're gonna need a costume!
Ash: Don't worry! I'll get one!
Harleen: [grabs Ash's arm] This is gonna be awesome! The three besties trick-or-treating around Gotham and seeing the Big Pumpkin Drop together!
Ash: I know! This is gonna be awesome! [to his girlfriends] I'll catch up with you girls later! You alright with that, miladies?
Lita: Sure!
Raye: Okay!
Serena: [winks] No problem!
Zee: Of course, hun! [blows Ash a kiss]
Ash: [chuckles] Awesome!
Diana: Barbara, Ash, wait, you are going to Gotham with Harleen? Alone?
Harleen: That a problem, Diana?
Ash: Don't worry, Harleen! It's only natural that Diana would be worried about me! She's probably just worried we'll run into some spooky Ghost Pokémon!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Diana: My love, that is not the case!
Ash: I appreciate your concern, Diana! I'll be okay! Me and Pikachu are gonna be with Babs and Harleen the whole time! No problem at all!
Goh: But, Ash! There's a HUGE problem!
Diana: Yes… for you did not invite us to join the festivities!
Goh: Huh?!
Jessica: I'm sorry. What was that?
Kara: Say what?
Zee: I'm actually okay with that.
Karen: Me too.
Ash: You guys wanna come too?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Lita: Well... I have always wondered what Gotham City looks like!
Amy: Me too! And think of the Pokémon I can observe and take notes on!
Alex: I'm down with that!
Sam: Me too!
Clover: Me three!
Bonnie: I wanna go! I wanna go!
Dedenne: DEDENNE!
Max: Me too!
Clemont: Only if the older siblings go with you!
May: Agreed!
Lana: We wanna come too!
Mallow: Yeah!
Lillie: Mhm. [to her older brother] Gladion?
Gladion: I suppose! But if anything bad happens, you and I are boarding my Noivern and coming back here! Understand?
Lillie: Understood!
Rini: [to Serena/Usagi and Darien] Can we go? Please?
Darien: I don't see why not!
Serena/Usagi: Of course!
Rini: Yay!
Ritchie: I'm in!

Kiawe: I guess I could join!
Sophocles: [nervous] Uh... I don't know! Couldn't we just go when it's not dark?
Harleen: What? Pfft! Where's the fun in that when Halloween only happens tonight? Besides... [realizes something] Hang on, Sophy! You ain't tellin' me yer afraid of the dark?
Sophocles: [nervous] You caught me! It's true!
Ash: It's just one of his habits!
Pikachu: PIKA PIKA!
Harleen: Ah.
Ash: You've got nothing to worry about, Sophocles! Our Electric and Fire type Pokémon will provide a bunch of light!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Blossom: Got that right!
Chimchar: [leaping onto Blossom's shoulder] CHIMCHAR!
Togedemaru: [agreeing] TOGEDEMARU!
Harleen: You betcha! I've got my Salandit with me!
Babs: See, Sophocles? You've got nothing to worry about!
That made him feel much better and smile!
Sophocles: Alright! I'm in! Especially for the candy!
Bubbles: I'm in!
Blossom: Me too!
Buttercup: Yeah!
Iris: I'm willing to go!
Cilan: I as well!
Bianca: Me too!
Misty: Uh huh!
Brock: Alright!
Mina: Sounds like fun! I'm in!
Raye: Me too!
Michelle: It does sound exciting!
Amara: I agree!
Trista: Alright! I know when I'm outvoted anyway!
Iris: [to N] What about you, N?
N: As much as that would be fun, I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline on the trick-or-treating! But I would like to see the Pumpkin Drop!
Ash: [to Serena; smiles] Whaddya say, Serena? It'll be just like the Gourgeist Festival!
Serena: Yeah! [hugs his arm] Just like the Gourgeist Festival!
Babs: [gasps; excited] All my best friends together in Gotham for Halloween?! Pinch me. I must be dreaming.
Kara was gladly about to pinch her!
Babs: Oh, don't, don't. I don't want to wake up.
Ash's Gengar: [pinches her] GEN!
Babs: [yelps] GAH!
Ash's Gengar: [laughs] GENGAR!
Ash: Oh, Gengar!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Chloe: Well, you can count me and Dawn out! There's no possible way we're going back to Gotham!
Dawn: Agreed! That place is nothing but crime central! It's bad news!
Piplup: [agreeing] PIPLUP!
Chloe: We are not going back there!
Babs: Aw, come on, guys! It'll be fun! [wraps her arms around them] It wouldn't be super special if you two were left out!
Chloe: I'm sorry, Babs! But Gotham is too dangerous for any of us! We're not going and that's final!
Babs: But, girls! [gives them the puppy dog eyes] Pwease? [whimpers]
Chloe: That's not gonna work, Babs!
But she spoke too soon, because Harleen started doing the same thing!
Harleen: [whimpers]
The double pair of puppy dog eyes was too much for Chloe and Dawn!
Chloe: [groans] Fine! Only if we stay in the neighborhood there!
Dawn: Agreed! Besides, now that you think about it, this does sound pretty fun! Dressing up in amazing costumes! And we've got my snookums to protect us!
Ash: You bet!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Dawn: [hugs him] Thanks, sweetie! [plays with his cheeks] You brave boy! [kisses his forehead] Mwah!
Ash: [blushes; giggles]
Chloe: Well, since we'll all be together, I suppose this could be fun! [to Eevee] What do you think, Eevee?
Eevee: [jumping up and down in excitement] EEVEE VEE EEVEE!
Chloe: [smiles] Why not? If it makes you really happy, then me too!
Babs: [excited] YES YES YES!
Diana, Goh, and Harleen only glared at each other for that ploy Diana had created!
Goh: [growls]
Cinderace: CINDER…
Diana: Sisters, brothers, find a costume. Gotham awaits!
Ash: Yeah! Let's suit up!
Soon, everyone was getting into costume! Karen was dressing herself as Green Lantern! Jessica was dressing herself as Batgirl! Diana was wearing Bumblebee's old mech suit! And Kara was dressed as Zatanna! Serena was transforming herself into Star Sapphire! She first put on the dress, then she slipped the long white gloves through her arms, put on the socks with purple ribbons and the pink heels, and she even wore a fake Violet Lantern Ring!
Serena: [applies lipstick] Mwah! [places the tiara onto her head; winks; giggles]
Soon, everyone was ready! They all met in a neighborhood in Gotham, but Ash and Zee were missing!
Karen: Wait. Where's Zee?
Mina: [dressed as Sailor Moon] And where's Ash?

Mina: [dressed as Sailor Moon] And where's Ash?
That's when a limo pulled up and Zee stepped out, dressed as someone nobody ever knew before! She wore hot pink circle markings around her eyes, along with purple lipstick. On the tips of her eyelashes, there are small light green spheres. Her hair, which was actually a wig, was shiny and pink with light purple stripes, and two twisted ponytails stick upward on each side. She wore side bangs, and at the center of the front of her wig, there is a white upward almond-shaped eye with a light purple outline and a pink pupil. She was also wearing a pink dress with a collared, light purple stripes around her waist, and eyes like the one on her hair around her puffed sleeves and skirt. The tips of the collaret and the skirt have the light pink edging, and her arms and legs have pink gloves and leggings. Her long green fake fingernails stick out of the end of her gloves, and on the back of her right hand, she has a pink eye design with a black outline, the center being a black jewel that opens up to reveal a small circular mirror. At the bottom of her feet, she has pink thick high heels and miniature eyes without pupils appear above the feet. Goh and Chloe knew who she was dressed as!
Zee: [acting like Reflekfa] Kneel before me, punt mortals! For I am the unmistakable and irresistible Reflekta!
Zee's Sylveon: [leaps out; dressed as a ballerina; poses] VEON!

While Zee just smiled and blushed at this, the others were shocked and concerned about Ash being up on a street light which was up so high!

Ash: What? Can't I act the part of Cat Noir? [slides down the pole and lands safely] Ha!
Kara: Little bro, I respect your daredevilness and all, but even I couldn't do that!
Clover: Yeah! I mean what were you even thinking? That was totally dangerous!
Ash: No worries, girls! I'm fine!
Clover: Still, when are you ever not reckless?
Ash: [pouts] I get it! [sees Serena dressed as Star Sapphire; gasps; blushes]

Then, she hugged him and kissed his cheek, leaving a lipstick mark!
Serena: [blushes] I figured I'd go as Star Sapphire for you!
Kara: Why'd you even wanna be her?
Serena: Because her hero outfit is so beautiful! And I especially like the tiara! That and I basically found the time to make it myself! I WAS thinking of going as a Florges, but I figured I'd go for a new change of pace! I look like an absolute princess! [hugs Ash] But I'm also my sweet Ashy's princess!
Ash: [blushes; giggles] Yep! [to Zee] You look super hot, Zee! That Reflekta look suits you really good! You look so sexy and beautiful!

Then, she wrapped herself around him and began to seductively stroke his cheek with a gloved hand!

Then, Raye came in! And she was dressed as Ladybug!

Then, she took out a yo-yo and wrapped it around Ash, bringing him closer to her!

Ash: [blushes; chuckles] You sure are! All that would be missing is the main villain!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Zee: What main villain?
Cilan: [dressed as Hawk Moth] That would be me, my dear Reflekta! [laughs maniacally]

Cilan: [acting] I am not Cilan! I am Hawk Moth!
Babs: [gasps] Hawk Moth?!
Harleen: [confused] Who?
Ash: Long story! And don't worry! Cilan isn't really Hawk Moth! He's just acting!
Cilan: Indeed! [takes off the mask] When in costume, I have the urge to act the part of a hero or a villain! After all, as a film connoisseur, I take acting very seriously!
Harleen: Ooh! You saying youse a movie expert?!
Cilan: Indeed! I happen to have even played a villain role in two PokéStar movies back when Ash and I traveled together!

Brock: [coming in, dressed as Shadow Moth] But it doesn't beat my look as Shadow Moth!

Then, the two of them hugged him!

Zee: Who's Zombizou?
Zee's Sylveon: VEON?
Ash: Zombizou was an akumatized villain that I helped Ladybug and Cat Noir face back when I was in Paris! Her real name was Caline Bustier! She had a little resemblance to Frankenstein in that look! When Monarch akumatized her back when he was just Hawk Moth, her view on love became warped, believing that she is spreading the love by turning people into kissing zombies. She also had enhanced physical abilities such as strength and agility. And with her special ability, Kiss Projection, she can use her lipstick to blow kisses that turn people into zombies who seek to kiss and hug other people.
Kara: That just sounds wrong on so many levels!
Goh: What even made you wanna be her?
Trista: I just figured since I'm practically the same height as her, I figured I'd go as this! Plus, I wanted to get a good reaction from Ash!
Ash just blushed from how attractive Trista looked as she hugged the Pokémon Master!
Trista: And now, Ashter! [bats her eyelashes] Give me a kissy-boo! [kisses Ash on the lips]
Ash: [kisses back passionately]
Karen: Um... Kissy-boo?
Ash: [as he and Trista released] That's what Zombizou's infected victims would say when under her spell!
Kara: [shudders]
Ash: Anyways, you look super beautiful, Trista!
Trista: Thanks!
Amara: [coming in with Blossom and Bubbles who were dressed as Horrificator and Syren; dressed as Mayura] But not as beautiful as I am!
Ash: [blushes] Wow! You look beautiful!

Goh: Let me guess! You wanted to be Mayura because she looks so majestic?
Amara: Well, that and her name rhymes with my name! Amara! Mayura!

That's when he saw Amy dressed as Bunnyx!

Amy: Yes! I liked her costume and thought I could wear this for Halloween!
Ash: Awesome! You look super cute and hot!

Suddenly, a figure zoomed by and made Serena's skirt blow upward!
Serena: [trying to keep her skirt down] EEK!
The figure revealed to be Buttercup, dressed as Timebreaker! She even wore roller skates!
Buttercup: Here's Timebreaker!
Babs: [eyes sparkle in amazement] Whoa!
Ash: Wow, Buttercup! That looks pretty good on you! And I didn't know you were good on rollerblades!
Buttercup: Of course! I'm just as good on rollerblades as I am on a skateboard! [to Serena; teasing] Too fast for ya, princess?
Serena: [irritated] Buttercup, don't you ever do that again! [neatens her skirt; turns away] Hmph!
Buttercup: Oh, come on! It was just a joke!
Serena: A joke that I don't find amusing at all!
Buttercup: Whatever! Why'd you dress up as a prissy hero like Star Sapphire?
Ash: Are you saying my Star Sapphire, the real Star Sapphire, is a prissy hero?

Then, Clemont, Bonnie, Ritchie, Casey, Bianca, Chloe, Mallow, Lana, Lillie, Sophocles, Kiawe, Gladion and Sam came in!
Clemont was Techno-Pirate, Bonnie was a Ludicolo, Ritchie was a vampire, Casey was a hockey player, Bianca was Supergirl, Chloe was a circus performer, Mallow was Nurse Joy from Alola, Lana was a mermaid, Lillie was a princess, Sophocles was a miner, Kiawe was a samurai, Sam was an alien, but Gladion just remained in his normal clothes!

Ash: Hey, guys! Great costumes!

Kara: What?! Seriously?! Bianca decided to be Supergirl but not Zee?!

The others just blinked in surprise and confusion at that!

Casey: Hey! I'll have you know that hockey is a very competitive sport and is just as good as baseball!

Goh: Hey, I recognize that outfit! That was when we visited that Pokémon Circus!

To indicate that, he turned on the light on his helmet!

? (Zombina): [coming up on the group and scaring them] RAH!
Everyone: [gasps]
Ash: You surprised us!
? (Zombina): Heh! Naturally! It IS Halloween!
Kara: That's actually a pretty cool zombie costume you're wearing!
? (Zombina): Please! This ain't a costume! I'm a REAL zombie girl! [pulls off her left hand with her right; while the hand wiggled its fingers] See?
Babs and Harleen: [gasp deeply]
Kara: You're a real zombie girl?!
Zombina: Well, sort of! I'm more of a half human species of what you guys call monsters, a Demi-Human! The name's Zombina! Rough and tough zombie girl who can't die even if you shoot bullets at me!
Lana: [eyes sparkle in astonishment] NO WAY!

Zombina: Nice to meetchas! By the way, heard you guys are going trick-or-treating! Mind if I tag along?
Ash: Of course! I don't see why not!
Zombina: Cool! Oh! And I hope you don't mind, but I brought some friends with me!
When they looked, one of the girls that were Zombina's friends they saw was a very tall woman with tan skin and long flowing blonde hair, fangs, pointed ears and very large rack. In fact, her rack seems to be even bigger than everyone's heads put together! One of her most noticeable physical features is a single large dark purple horn in her forehead, which connects directly to her skull. The other was what looked like a cyclops girl! Or a Monoeye in this case! She has one eye instead of two, she has short, shoulder-length bob-cut purple hair and was wearing a white skirted dress! And the last girl was what looked like a fair-skinned centauride with sky blue eyes and very long blonde hair, which is always in a high-ponytail. As is typical for a female Centaur, she has rather large rack. The most noticeable trait in her appearance is her headless horse of a lower body, and her long and pointed horse ears. As she's very modest, she usually wears unrevealing clothes that covers her torso which only leaves her shoulders exposed!
Zombina: Let me introduce you to my friends! This is Tionishia the Ogre Girl, but we call her Tio for short!
Tio: Hello!
Zombina: That's Manako the Monoeye!
Manako: [shyly] H-Hello!
Zombina: And the centaur is Centorea! But we call her Cerea!
Cerea: Greetings!
Ash: Wow! And you're all Demi-Human species?
Tio: We sure are!
Kara: That... Is... AWESOME!
Clemont: Unbelievable!
Diana: Though, I would sometimes see a cyclops, ogre and Centaur in my homeland, Themyscira! But I would never have expected to see ones that are half human before!
Blossom: But then again, we've seen weirder things!
Bubbles: But we've never seen ones with a more superior body!
Buttercup: For sure!
Babs: Okay, everyone. Let's get trick-or-treating! Gotham-style.
Soon, the trick-or-treating had begun! Jessica got some candy out of a cauldron outside of a house, but she got spooked by a dangling ghost much to Babs and Harleen's amusement! Next, Karen went to go knock on the door to get candy only for a dog to chase her away and start to eat her candy! Then, they went to another house to get candy, but when it was Zee and Kara's turn, the guy giving out the candy dropped his bowl and when he gathered the candy back he brought up earthworms with it, much to Zee and Kara's disgust! Along the way to more houses, Goh couldn't help but catch some wild Pokémon that were in the area! He caught an Alolan Rattata, a Lampent and an Impidimp! Ash went to another house and got some chocolate, but then a mutant decoration jumped out!
Ash: Yeah, this house could do better!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Along the way, the Pokémon Trainers that were in the area even challenged either Ash or some his friends to a Pokémon battle using some of their spookiest Ghost Pokémon! Which they have emerged victorious from!
Ash: Growlithe, use Flamethrower!
Growlithe: [Flamethrower move] GROWL!
Doublade: [pained] DOUBLADE!
That knocked out the Doublade!
Doublade: [dazed; swirls in eyes] DOUBLADE!

Male Trainer: [dressed as an Egyptian warrior; groans in disappointment; returns Doublade] Doublade, return!
Ash: That was a great battle!
Male Trainer: Yeah! But I guess I couldn't defeat the Pokémon Master!
Ash: You still put up a tough fight! [kneels down and pets Growlithe] Nice job, Growlithe!
Growlithe: [happy] GROWLITHE!
Serena and Zee then hugged Ash's arms!
Zee: Excellent job as always, Ashykins!
Ash: [smiles] Thanks, girls!
Serena: That's our Ashy! The strongest trainer around! [kisses his cheek, leaving a lipstick mark] Mwah!
Zee: He sure is! [kisses his cheek, leaving a purple lipstick mark] Mwah! [hugs him] And the most handsome!

Later on, everyone had stopped to take a break, but some of them had either lost or didn't have any candy while Babs and Harleen counted their stash!
Babs: [whooping] What a haul! So far I got two half-eaten Jack Smackers, a stale hotdog bun, and some creative insults.
Clover: That just sounds gross!
Ash: [reads an insult; cringes] Not as gross as these insults!
Serena: I know! I'm starting to think that the Gourgeist festival was way better than this!
Bonnie: Me too!
Clemont: At least we got something more edible than some of this!
Raye: True! [smirks; grabs Ash by his bell]

Then, they separated with half-lidded eye expressions!

After they separated, Zee began to stroke Ash's cheek seductively!

But it wasn't! Then, the ground surrounding the "stem", which was actually a long tuft of fur that curls tightly at the tip, started poking upward, and then out of the ground came...

Mallow: [gasps] A Pumpkaboo!
Babs: First time I've ever seen one!
Harleen: Sure is big! I wonder why?
Rotom Dex: I believe I can answer that! While Pumpkaboo's appearance looks the same, they can be different depending on their sizes! They can either come in Small, Average, Large or Super Sized! This one we're witnessing is the Super Sized Pumpkaboo!
Amara: It's definitely a Super Size!
Pumpkaboo (Female; Super Size): [flashing its lights] PUMPKA PUMPKA!
Karen: What's it doing?
Ritchie: I think it's flashing its lights!
Goh: Now, PokéBall! [tosses the PokéBall] Go!

Then, the Pumpkaboo got sucked into the PokéBall! And with a few shakes and a 'ping'...

Zee: Of course! I've seen how beautiful a Gourgeist is when Rotom showed us the data and I couldn't resist its beauty!

Then, they began to take pictures! One was a regular picture! Another was them making peace signs! The third one was them making scary faces! And the last one was Zee and Serena giving Ash a double cheek kiss, leaving lipstick marks!

Goh: [mutters] Probably heading off to change into the evil jester girl we know and hate.

They did just that!

Ash: Well, whatever it is! We're gonna stop him! [to Zombina] Would and your friends like to help, Zombina?
Zombina: [pounds her fist into her palm; smirks] Busting a bad guy's sorry butt?! Heck yeah, we wanna help!
Manako: I suppose I could!
Cerea: On my honor as a centaur, we will bring this scoundrel, Joker, in to justice!
Tio: Yeah! Whatever she just said!
Lillie: Agreed! He won't get away this!
Gladion: You aren't getting involved, Lillie! I'm taking you back to Metropolis!
Lillie: Huh? But Gladion…
Gladion: NO BUTS! I'm not having my sister stay here while a menace like Joker is out and about! [clenches his fist] I've heard of what he's capable of! He's a beyond dangerous psychopath who's no laughing matter! HE'S INSANE! His twisted sense of humor causes nothing but chaos, destruction, and devastation! There's a reason why that clown belongs in an insane asylum like Arkham!
Ash: Hey! We've dealt with worse villains and lived to tell the tale! You and Lillie were even apart of it too!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKACHU!
Gladion: That's different! We fought them on a daily basis! Batman's archenemy is a completely different story!
Ash: So? Doesn't mean we can't take him down for Batman while he has something else going on!

Lillie: He's right, Gladion! We've fought threats even worse than the Joker! Including when Mother was kidnapped by an Ultra Beast!
Vulpix (Snowy): [agreeing] VULPIX!
Gladion knew his sister was right! Plus, everyone was here to fight by his side and help keep Lillie safe!
Ash: So, are you gonna help us fight or what?
Gladion: [nods] You're right. The Joker may be the most dangerous man in all of Gotham, but he doesn't stand a chance against all of us combined!
Ash: That's right! Now, let's go clown hunting!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!
Lucario: [determined] MRAH RAH!
Serena: [determined] Agreed!
Gladion: Right! [to Lillie] Alright, Lillie. If you really want to be involved in this, I won't stop you. Just stick close to me, okay?

That's when Sam's com-powder started to beep!
Sam: That must be Jerry! [takes out her com-powder and opens it] Hey, Jerr! We've got a situation!
Jerry: I'm already aware! The Joker has broken out of the Arkham Reform School! One of my WOOHP Agents working in disguise as a guard there has informed me of this crisis!
Ash: Read ya, Jerr! Mind sending over some gadgets?
Jerry: I'm already on it! You'll be using the Head-For-Cover Hoverboards, Mini Charm Bracelets, the Penny Drone and two of of our newest gadgets since the testing with the prototypes, the Monster Tracker 3000 and the Super Powerful Ghost Vacuum!
Alex: Ooh!
Kara: So basically, it's just a regular vacuum cleaner!
Jerry: Not just any vacuum cleaner! A Ghost Vacuum! It vacuums any kind of ghost and is placed into the ghost vac bag! I got the design from some strange old man in a white coat!
Bubbles: Wow! Nifty!
Jerry: I'll send them over straight away!
While Babs was explaining the rest of the mission, Harleen seemed to be on the phone as well!
Harleen: Ooh, sounds fun. Count me in... Mr. J.
Babs: And since Batman is on a case in Star City, it's up to us to stop him.
Ash: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!
Karen: So we're done trick-or-treating?
Michelle: I believe we are!
Some of the heroes were relieved by this!
Babs: Sadly. I just feel bad for Harls. She's been looking forward to this all year.
Diana: Harleen's feelings are the least of our worries right now.

That left Babs confused by this!
Ash: Um... Goh? Diana? Can I talk to you two for a minute? Alone? [drags the two off to the side; sternly concerned] What's gotten into you two? You two aren't usually like this about Harleen.

Goh: Well, can you blame us?! We just don't trust that looney toon!

Goh: It's because she's- [as Diana stomps on his foot] OW!
Diana: [hesitates] Forgive me, my love. I simply meant we should focus on the Joker.
Ash: [nods] You're right! We'll talk about this later!
Babs: Oh, I guess I'll just have to make up some excuse. This is gonna break her heart.
Misty: [places a hand in her shoulder] Don't worry, Babs! I'm sure she'll understand!
When they told her, she seemed to be more than okay with it!
Harleen: No problem. See ya. [cartwheels away; hums]
Jessica: Wow. She took that well.
Ash: Really well!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Sonic: [coming in with his team] Need some help, fellas?
Ash: Huh? Sonic! Everyone! What are you doing here?

Sonic: Simple! My hedgehog senses sensed danger and thought we'd come scope this out!

Tails: Don't be fooled, Knuckles! I've heard of the Joker! He's the most dangerous and notorious super villain in all of Gotham City!

Babs: Hold on, where's Shadow?
Amy: He's elsewhere!
Aurora: Sorry, Babs! I doubt he's coming!

Trista: [to Ash] Honey, I think we should also call in Mewtwo, Meloetta and Hoopa!
Ash: You're right! Hoopa, I need you!
Then, Hoopa appeared out of a ring portal!
Hoopa: Alléhooparing! You called, Ashkan?
Ash: I did! We've got a problem! The Joker is loose in Gotham and plans to give everyone the scariest Halloween of all time!

Ash: Which is why we need you to send over Mewtwo and Meloetta! We need all the help we can get!

Then, he made a ring portal and out came Mewtwo and Meloetta!

Sam: Right!
Babs: The Joker plans to steal the Craddock fortune from the last living Craddock, the reclusive Victoria Craddock!
Rouge: Not if we have anything to say about it!
Zee: So, we check on the creepy old woman in a creepy old house on Halloween? [laughs nervously] Fun.
Sam: Oh, please! How bad could it be?
Sophocles: [scared] I can only imagine!
Togedemaru: [scared] TOGE!
Kara: [laughs sarcastically] Stinks to be you. [as Gladion elbows her] Hey!
Diana: Supergirl, you, Bumblebee, Ritchie, Casey, Misty, Brock, Iris, Cilan, Bianca, N, Meloetta, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Mallow, Lana, Kiawe, Knuckles, Sticks and Tionishia are going to Slaughter Swamp.
Bianca: A swamp?!

Diana: Oh! Right! My apologies, Tio!
Tio: Also, if you decided to have me go to a swamp because I'm an ogre, that's an offensive stereotype! I'm not some smaller and greener ogre that likes to travel with a talking donkey!
Babs: The Joker's gonna try to cause a blackout by taking out the Swamp's underground power junction.
Mallow: Since when does a swamp have a power junction?

Lana: I don't know!
Kiawe: Don't worry! We're on it!

Diana: [places a hand on Babs' shoulder] Babs, Ash, Goh, Serena, Mewtwo, Lillie, Gladion, Rotom Dex, Sailor Moon, Mini Moon, Sailor Mars, Tuxedo Mask, Sonic, Tails, Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Zombina, Centorea and I shall go to Star Labs.
Ash: The Dream Team!
Mewtwo: [nods] Hm.
Babs: If the Joker gets his hands on the Lab's chemical vault, he could make enough Joker Toxin for the entire city.
Goh: Not if we have anything to say about it!
Chloe: [scared] B-Babs? What's Joker Toxin?
Babs: Basically laughing gas!
Tails: It's one of the Joker's signature weapons he uses in his crimes!
Rotom Dex: Indeed! There are certain versions of Joker Toxin that can be very lethal!
Ash: Don't worry! We'll make sure that clown gets HIS last laugh!
Pikachu: [agreeing; determined] PIKACHU!
Ash: [takes Zee's gloved hands] Be safe, Zee! If anything were to happen to you or the other girls, I'd never forgive myself!
Zee: Don't worry, sweetie! I'll be fine!
Then, she cupped his face with her gloved hands!
Zee: Trust me! [kisses his cheek]
Ash: [smiles determinedly] I trust you!
Diana: Sisters, brothers, it is time to save Halloween!
Ash: Yeah! Heroes, let's do this! Hoopa, make with the ring portals!
Hoopa: Leave it to Hoopa! To Craddock Manor, Slaughter Swamp and Star Labs! [makes three ring portals] Alléhooparings!
The heroes went into each ring portal destined to their locations!

Zatanna: Yeesh! This place gives me the creeps.
Rouge: Well, I'm not scared of any creepy old manor! As long as there are some priceless valuables worth taking with this Craddock guy six feet under!
Sailor Uranus: [sternly] Rouge, we're here to stop the Joker from stealing the Craddock fortune. Not commit a crime like he intends to do.
Sophocles: [nervous] I bet it's pretty dark inside that manor!
Green Lantern used her ring to create a watering can and dumped constructed water onto a dead flower, blossoming it back to life!
Green Lantern (Jessica): Oh, it may be a little lived-in, but under all the dust, cobwebs- And those are possums up there, aren't they?
Clover: POSSUMS?!
Multiple possums were hanging from the ceiling with glowing red eyes!
[screeching]
Zatanna, Green Lantern (Jessica), and Clover: Ew.
Bonnie: They're so cute! I want a hug!
Clemont: Bonnie, don't even think about it!
Zatanna: It's not just the house. There's something about the name... Craddock.
Sam: I'm thinking the same thing! But I can't wrap my finger around it!
[loud thud]
Green Lantern (Jessica): Wait. Zee, do you hear that?
Something big seemed to be approaching!
Zatanna: Footsteps. Loud footsteps.
Sophocles: [jumps into Sailor Uranus' arms] ZOINKS!
Sam: Be ready to fight, team!
Green Lantern (Jessica): [gasps; as she and Zatanna hug each other] Brace yourself. It's coming closer.
Sylveon: [battle stance] VEON!
[thudding continues rhythmically]
Green Lantern (Jessica): Wait... Those aren't footsteps.
May: Hey, you're right!
Zatanna: It's a beat.

Chloe: It sounds like... Music?

The door opened and out stepped a small old woman, dressed in an orange rapper outfit, and multiple colorful lights were flashing inside the manor!

Alex: That's Victoria Craddock?
Victoria: Call me V-Bone, yo. [laughs] Sick costumes. Now get on in here. Party's just getting crackin'. [walks in]
Alex: Do you reckon we should?
Manako: We must! Who knows what this Joker is planning!
Togedemaru: [happily rolls in] TOGEDEMARU!
And in they went! But not after Sailor Uranus dropped Sophocles out of her arms!
Sophocles: Oof!
Sailor Uranus: [while walking inside; mutters] Big baby.
Sophocles: Hey! I heard that! [runs in] Wait for me!
Meanwhile, at Slaughter Swamp, the second group was looking for the underground power junction!
Sticks: [leaping from tree to tree] HA!
Kiawe: [flying on Charizard] Nothing yet!
Sailor Jupiter: We have to hurry! The Joker could blow up the underground power junction any minute now!
Bumblebee: Something doesn't add up.
Supergirl: Yeah. Babs, Diana and the others get to check out a nice, clean lab, while we get swamp duty.
Bumblebee: No, I meant, why would Gotham bury a power junction under a swamp?
Mallow: That's what I want to know!
Lana: Me too!
Supergirl: Uh, 'cause this is Gotham, Cuckoo town, USA. Anything goes.
Cilan: But still, it doesn't make any sense! As a proud detective connoisseur, I know that this mystery has left me quite puzzled!
Casey: Me too! I'm surprised the power junction hasn't short-circuited from being underground a body of water!
Cilan: No! I mean why would a power junction be in a swampy area in the first place! Unless...
Meloetta: [sees something] LO? [pointing] LOME! MELOETTA!
Tio: What is it, little one?
Iris: I think Meloetta found something!
Meloetta: [points] LOE!
There was a giant concrete box with multiple "HA!"s spray painted green and purple onto it, in a swampy graveyard!
Supergirl: There!
They went down to investigate!
N: Hmm...
Bumblebee: Not very subtle, but what is it?
[ticking]
Supergirl: It's ticking.
Sailor Venus: Ticking?!
Knuckles: It's a bomb!
Bumblebee: A bomb?! Do you think the Joker's gonna blow the power lines underground?
Sailor Jupiter: I think you're right!
Supergirl: [using her X-ray vision] This casing must be led-lined because my X-ray vision can't see inside but that would be my guess.
Sticks: Let's try busting it open!
But when Supergirl tried to lift it, it wouldn't budge and she and Bumblebee landed in the mucky swamp!
Supergirl: Yeah. It's a little heavier than it looks.
Kiawe: Let me and Marowak try! Marowak, use Iron Head!
Marowak (Alolan): [Iron Head move] MARO...WAK!
But it was only able to leave a single crack!
Kiawe: Only left a crack!
Marowak (Alolan): [stomps its foot in anger] MARO MARO MARO!
Sticks spotted an odd-looking stone near a grave with strange engravements.
Sticks: Hey, youse guys! Look at this odd rock!
Supergirl: Odd rock?
They saw the stone, but most of the group weren't sure what it is! Brock immediately recognized the odd-looking stone and stopped Sticks from touching it!
Brock: No, Sticks! Don't touch that stone!
Sticks: Why not? It can't hurt me!
Brock: But what's in that Odd Keystone can! This Odd Keystone contains a Pokémon known as Spiritomb!
Bianca: [gasps] Spiritomb?!
Bumblebee: Spiritomb? [pulls out her Rotom Phone] Hmm...
Karen's Rotom Phone: Spiritomb, the Forbidden Pokémon. A Ghost and Dark type. Exactly 108 spirits gathered to become this Pokémon. Apparently there are some ill-natured spirits in the mix. As punishment for misdeeds 500 years ago, it was imprisoned in the fissure of an Odd Keystone.

The Joker then noticed Aura Guardian and grinned maliciously!
Joker: Ooh. And who do we have here? The Aura Guardian himself? I'm not surprised to see your golden appearance! But I AM surprised that nobody has thought to purchase a gold man! [laughs] [clears his throat] But enough about me! An old friend of mine and his employees had told me so much about you and your yellow rat!
Aura Guardian: What friend and employees?
[And cue the Unova motto]
Jessie: [from the shadows] "What'" is a question? So twerpish indeed!
James: [from the shadows] The answer to come as we feel the need!
Jessie: [coming out of the shadows] Bringing the blinding, white light of evil into the future!
James: [coming out of the shadows] Thrusting the hammer of justice down onto the black darkness of the universe!
Meowth: [coming out of the shadows] And carving our names into the rock of eternity!
Jessie: The fiery destroyer: Jessie!
James: And with thunderous emotion, I am James!
Meowth: Wisest of the wise, Meowth!

Then, out of the shadows came the head honcho of Team Rocket himself! Giovanni!
Giovanni: [smirks; chuckles darkly]
Aura Guardian: [gasps] You?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Lucario: MRAH?!
Giovanni: That's right, boy! Me! And I see you've gotten acquainted with my old comrade!
Batgirl: [gasps in complete shock] COMRADE?!
Joker: Oh yes! G and I have known each other for sometime now!
Aura Guardian: Why are you helping the Joker, Giovanni?
Giovanni: Oh, sweet, young, meddlesome child! You have been a thorn in Team Rocket's side for far too long! While Joker carries out his master plan, I will be the one to finish you meddlesome children once and for all! And then, your Pokémon will belong to Team Rocket!
Sailor Mars: [steps forward; gives him a death threatening glare] Over my dead body.
Giovanni: [pulls out a PokéBall] Well then... [tosses it] Your funerals!
Persian: [appearing] PERSIAN!
Aura Guardian: It's Persian!
Pikachu: [cheeks sparking wildly] PIKACHU!
Joker: By the way, a new pal of mine seems to know you and has been dying to see you again! Word of advice: he LOVES it when things go boom!

Boomtower: [steps out of the shadows; laughs evilly] Happy Halloween, losers!

Two familiar demons, one being orange with golden hair and the other being blue with silver hair, dropped down from the ceiling!
Jin: Don't forget us!
Yin: We wouldn't miss this fright fest for the world!
Aura Guardian: Oh great! You two again?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Gladion: Who are you?!
Jin: We're your worst nightmare. Jin.
Yin: Yin.
Jin: [poses with his brother] The Gold and Silver Demons!
Yin: [annoyed] Mate, it's silver and gold. Silver and gold.
Jin: I'm not having this conversation again. It's gold and silver.
The two demon brothers began to wrestle each other!
Boomtower: ENOUGH!
That made them stop as they got up with a few bruises and bandages on their faces!
Lillie: [to Aura Guardian] Who are they, Aura?
Vulpix (Snowy): VUL?
Aura Guardian: They're Jin and Yin, the Gold and Silver Demons! A couple of goofball idiots, but they mean business!
Buttercup: They seem like idiots! That's for sure!
Serena: Don't tell me you're working for the Joker?!
Jin: Got that right!
Yin: We wanted to join in on this little fright night! And he accepted! [places a hand on the Joker's shoulder] We've always had the upmost respect for the Joker! The greatest criminal mastermind of all time!
Joker: Thank you, thank you! You're too kind! Besides, [wraps his arms around Jin and Yin's shoulders] it's not everyday you find henchmen able to survive the riggers of being completely insane! [laughs maniacally]
Serena: [scared; clings to Ash] Aura! That guy is crazy!
Buttercup: Worse than that! He's a total loon!
Joker: Well, thank you! I try my absolute hardest!
Wonder Woman: Enough! Prepare for battle, Joker.
Giovanni: I don't think so! Persian, keep the patriotic girl at bay with Power Gem!
Persian: [Power Gem move] PERSIAN!
Wonder Woman: [gasps; leaps back]

Joker: [sitting on the rails with Harley] Look, I know we just met but one thing you should know about me... I actually get anxious around new people.
Bubbles: Then, you wouldn't mind making this easy and getting inside one of these! [using a bubble move] Bursting [launches a bubble] Bubbles!
Giovanni: Persian, Slash attack!
Persian: [Slash move] PERSIAN!
That popped the bubble!
Bubbles: Hey! No fair!
Joker: In fact, whenever I meet new folks, [takes out a clown remote] I like to have an out prepared. You know, in case our first convo hits one of those awkward lols.
Goh: [sweat drops] Awkward lols?
Jin: Don't you know anything?! It means "laughing out loud"!
Joker: And no offense, but... this is one of those lols! [laughing maniacally; presses the button on the remote]
Harley Quinn: [blows a raspberry]
Then, the doors of a nearby chamber opened up and a female scientist was tied up with a clown face bomb to her chest and her mouth was taped shut with a grin drawn onto it!
Woman: [squealing] [muffled groans]
Heroes: [gasp]
Aura Guardian: You sick psycho! You're gonna blow up an innocent woman?!
Joker: Blow her up? [laughs] I'm not gonna do that, kiddo! I'm not that kind of psycho! But I wouldn't wanna spoil the surprise! Goodbyes are always hard. So let's say... [mumbles like Batman]
Aura Guardian: [gasps] Wait a minute!
Batgirl: That was YOU on my emergency line.
Aura Guardian: You tricked us!
Joker: What do you know? I can speak Bat.
Harley Quinn: [sighs] Ain't he talented? [as the Joker bows]
Jin and Yin: [claps] Bravo!
Boomtower: [fires from his chest cannon] Boom Blast!
That blew the door to the exit right off its hinges!
Harley Quinn: Yeowzers!
Joker: [applauds] Well played! You certainly put the boom in your name, hotshot.
Boomtower: [chuckles] Don't I know it! Let's get outta here!
Harley Quinn: [leaves with the Joker, Boomtower, Giovanni, Jin and Yin] Toodles.
Joker: [laughs maniacally]
Batgirl: I really hate that girl.
Aura Guardian: Me too!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Giovanni: [to Team Rocket] You three stay here and keep them busy!
Team Rocket: Yes, sir!
Giovanni: [leaves out the exit] Come along, my dear Persian.
Persian: [follows] PERS!
Gladion: Get back here and fight, you coward!
Jessie: [pulling out two PokéBalls] Oh, Gourgeist! Mimikyu! [tosses them] Rise and shine!
James: [pulling out two PokéBalls] Yamask! Morpeko! [tosses them] Come out and give them a scare to remember!
Gourgeist: [appearing] GOURGEIST!
Mimikyu: [appearing] MIMIKYU!
Yamask: [appearing] YAMASK!
Morpeko: [appearing] MORPE! [switches to Hangry Mode] PEKO!
Aura Guardian: Batgirl, you and Wonder Woman get that bomb off of that woman! We'll handle Team Rocket!

Back at Craddock Manor...
Victoria: Family fortune? You must be trippin', yo. [laughs]
Clover: We are not tripping! We're being serious!

Victoria: I wish, youngster. My great grand-dad Jim blew the entire Craddock fortune generations ago.
Alex: Boy, he must've had some kind of shopping spree back in the day!
Victoria: This is the only heirloom V-Bone ever got. [takes a small chest off the bookshelf]
Sam: An old chest? That's the only heirloom left!
Bonnie: It looks pretty!
Dedenne: [agreeing] DENNE!
Rouge: There wouldn't happen to be a rare gemstone in that chest, would there, old timer?
Victoria: [laughs] Li'l batty, I wish! But there ain't no bling inside here!
Green Lantern (Jessica): An engraving. It's too rusty to read.
She used her ring to create a small broom to dust it off.

As she said that a headless ghost appeared!
Sam and Zatanna: The Gentleman Ghost!
Gentleman Ghost: [laughs cunningly]

With Supergirl, Bumblebee and their group, Supergirl was trying to move the unknown box, but to no avail!
Iris: What could be in there?
[digital beeping]
Bumblebee: [checking her gauntlet] Wait, Kara. This is not a bomb.
Iris: It's not?
Supergirl: So, this is a dud? [smirks] Well, then I can do this. Get over here, Knuckles!
Knuckles: Yeah! Let's do this!
They both punched the concrete box, causing it to break and reveal a tombstone!
Bumblebee: It's a tombstone?
Meloetta: ETTA?
Sailor Venus: Creepy!
Lana: "Solomon Grundy"?
Eevee (Sandy): EEVEE?
Supergirl: Who's Solomon Grundy anyway?
Then, Iris looked at the pedestal where the Odd Keystone was and saw that it was gone!
Iris: [a little freaked out] Uh, guys? Where's the Odd Keystone?
Sailor Mercury: [gasps; nervous] I-I don't know!
N: Solomon Grundy... who could that be?
Then, the grave rose and a gigantic zombie with eyes glowing red eyes emerged from the ground!
Solomon Grundy: [roars] SOLOMON GRUNDY!
Bumblebee: [gulps nervously] I'm guessing he is.
As for the Odd Keystone...
Spiritomb: [appearing from the Odd Keystone] SPIRITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMB!
Everyone minus Kiawe: IT'S SPIRITOMB!
Kiawe: [tossing a PokéBall] Quick, Turtonator, use Flamethrower!
Turtonator: [appearing; Flamethrower move] TURTON...NATOR!
But the Flamethrower just phased through Spiritomb!
Spiritomb: [chuckles darkly] SPIRITOMB...

Then, just as the Shadow Ball was about to hit Cinderace...
Cinderace: [blocks it with its foot] CIN!
Then, it used the Shadow Ball and turned it into a Pyro Ball!
James: [gasps]
Goh: Now let it rip!

Rotom Dex: But who is she?
Batgirl: She's a scientist and the wife of Dr. Kirk Langstrom. She tested her own experimental bat-gland serum on herself [takes the tape off her mouth] and mutated into-
Francine: No, don't! IT'S A TRAP!
Then, there was even more trouble! The bomb strapped around her went off and let out purple smoke, mutating the scientist into a giant mutant bat!
Batgirl: She-Bat!
She-Bat: [screeching]
Swoobat: SWOO?!
Lycanroc (Ace Jr): ROC?!
Noibat: [scared] NOI.
Zombina and Cerea: [gasps]
Aura Guardian: [gasps] What is that?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Lucario: MRAH?!
Even Team Rocket was shocked by this!

Ash: I've had three encounters with Spiritomb! One in Sinnoh, one in Galar on a Ghost Train and one during the Masters Eight Tournament in Galar under the ownership of my friend, Cynthia, the Sinnoh Region Champion!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Kara: And you weren't freaked out by it?
Ash: No way! They only attack if the Odd Keystone it's sealed in is disturbed!
Zee: [freaked out a bit] Next time I see an Odd Keystone, I'm staying far away from it.
Ash: Oh, I don't know, Zee! With your knowledge of spiritual beings, I'm sure you could probably keep it at bay if one were to be a part of the team!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Zee: No way! I prefer nice and mischievous ghosts, not juvenile ones!
Sylveon: [agreeing] SYLVEON!
