Summary: There is a seventh teen staying in Camp Cretaceous. An aspiring Acu Unit member. Pairing: 10K x Yasmina / Brooklynn

"Welcome to Isla Nublar. You are the chosen few in the entire world, to ever experience the awesomeness that is Camp Cretaceous. I know the trip from the mainland was rough on some. Hello Ben. But you made it! And I'm Dave, head counselor." The Camp's counselor greets the five teens who have just arrived on the Isle via ferry.
"Ahh, So sorry I'm late. Welcome campers. I'm Roxy, head counselor of Camp Cretaceous." A woman appearing to be in her late twenties, just like her coworker greets the teens after stepping out of her jeep.
"Uhh, It's sort of a co-head counselor situation." Dave says.
"As our first campers we've lined up exclusive behind the scenes tours of Jurassic World for you." The woman tells the teens while the pink-haired girl from amongst them is filming everything on her phone.
"So, are you ready for an adventure?" Roxy asks.
"Let's not go into detail right now and get you six to camp." Dave then says, motioning to the Jeep.
"Uhm, there are five of us." Ben remarks.
"He's right, where is number six?" Dave asks Roxy, who looks at her clipboard with a sigh and the group relocates to a nearby landing pad, where they meet up with the missing teen, who arrives via helicopter.
"Greetings my dudes, Kenji is here. So let the party commence!" A teen, carrying a dufflebag says, stepping out of the helicopter.
"Put this in my room." He tells Roxy, throwing her the dufflebag while meeting up with the other teens, only for Roxy to throw his bag back at him, knocking the teen over.
The group then get on the back of the Jeep while the counselors are up front, driving the vehicle.
"What's good Brooklanders? It's your girl Brooklynn from the Camp Cretaceous. I'm here to unbox the newest addition of Jurassic World." The pinkette says, filming herself.
"OK, now I need you all to introduce yourself and say a little bit about yourself. And action!" Broklynn says, pointing her phone at Darius.
"Oh, uhm. I beat this awesome VR- Dinosaur game. I'm Darius by the way." The afro-american teen introduces himself, before he gets cut off by another girl.
"I'm sorry. I just can't believe you're Brooklynn. I'm Sammy Gutierrez, total Brooklander." The girl says excitedly.
"Uhm, what's a Brooklander?" Darius asks.
"Oh, that's just what my online followers call themselves." Brooklynn says.
"Uhm, all 27 Million of us." Sammy adds.
"That's the reason why she's the only one who gets to keep her cellphone. She's famous." The last girl on the back of the truck says.
"Hold on, rich and famous? Oh, we're meant to be." Kenji says, snatching Brooklyn's phone to make a selfie of the two of them.
Moments later something darts across the path they're driving on and Roxy stops the car abruptly, stepping out with Dave.
"What's going on?" Ben asks concerned.
"Nothing you need to worry about, just stay in your seats." Dave replies, readying his taser staff with Roxy, while they step into the jungle, where the thing darting across disappeared to.
The group of teens all watch their counsellors with anticipation and only Darius manages to pick up the slight rustling of leaves behind them and turns to the direction, whispering "Guys."
Seconds later, two blurs jump out of the bush, revealing themselves to be a very small Dino, around the size of a cat and a teen around their age, dressed in a open flak jacket over a black shirt, a pouch on his hip, black cargo pants, boots and a scarf as well as googles decorating his head.
"Sloppy!" 10K says, holding the small Dinosaur in one hand, the other gripping onto the bed of the Jeep, where it jumped onto, surprising Darius and the rest, with the black teen falling over while the other boys jump off the sides of the Jeep with the girls huddling up against the back of the jeep bed.
"Excuse me. What did you just call me?" Dave asks, approaching the Jeep.
"Not you, your procedure. Both of yours, sloppy as heck." 10K replies, shoving the small Dino at the older man.
"Uhm, sorry, but who are you?" Darius asks, picking himself up from the floor.
"10K." He replies, jumping back off the Jeep and helping Ben back on the vehicle.
"OK?" Darius says confused.
"Just get back on the Jeep everyone, we'll introduce you in a bit." Roxy tells the group with a tired sigh, helping Dave store the small animal in a box on the backseat of the Jeep, with 10K taking a seat beside it.
"Brooklanders, check this place out, isn't this the most amazing place you've ever seen." Brooklynn says, while filming herself and the surroundings behind her.
"You think this is amazing? Then you haven't seen my dad's house and our main park." Kenji says cockily, walking past her.
"Yasmina, so as an elite-athlete, how pumped are you for camp?" Brooklynn asks the brunette girl amongst the group.
"Not a huge fan of being on camera, or people." Yasmina says, dashing away from the filming pinkette while shielding her face.
"This place is almost as big as my family's ranch back home." Sammy says impressed.
"That's because when it's up and running we'll house 500 kids and 150 staff members." Roxy tells the girl, while Dave throws the teens luggage in front of the elevator, leading to the enormous treehouse.
"Listen up! Announcement time from your Co-headcounselors." Dave tells them, once he's got all bags.
"OK everyone. There are some ground rules to cover. Curfew is at 8 pm. And light's out at 9 pm sharp. This is for your safety, we are in a dinosaur filled jungle. You must always keep your distance, or you could be seriously hurt." Roxy announces while most of the kids groan.
"Now, is there anything you want to know before choosing your bunk?" The woman then asks the teens.
"Yeah, when can we see more Dinosaurs?" Darius asks excitedly.
"Soon, the day isn't over yet kid." Dave tells him with a wink.
"I have a question, who is he?" Kenji asks, pointing at 10K, who's standing on the sidelines.
"Ah yes. You haven't been introduced yet, if you'd please." Roxy tells 10k.
"Just call me 10k. I've been employed here for the last two weeks and am supposed to build an acu unit in the future, until that day comes, I'm supposed to get the lay of the land and a sense of how to cooperate with visiting kids, because someone thought I'm lacking social skills." 10K says, staring at Roxy at the end of the sentence.
"You, an acu Unit? Hah, how old are you?" Kenji laughs.
"17." 10k replies, already walking past Dave, towards the elevator. Ignoring the Asian teen's taunts.
"Well, anyways. Bunks are up that way. Now go!" Dave says, pointing upwards and the teens follow 10k to the elevator to choose their bunk.
After choosing their bed the group heads over to the observation tower, where they can observe the migration of a herd of dinosaurs up close.
"Where are they herding them to?" Sammy asks.
"They are herding them back to their night-time enclosures." Roxy answers.
"Enough banter. It's Zip-line party time." Dave tells them, sitting the anxious Ben in the first seat and shoving him down the Zip-line when he starts to ramble.
The other kids soon follow suit, cheering while they Zip across the herd, almost being able to touch the Dinosaurs below.
"They seem to be enjoying themselves." Roxy says happily.
"Right, uhm. What are you doing 10K?" Dave asks the teen, who straps metal shin protectors on his calves.
"Watch and learn." 10k tells them with a smirk, checking that the others are already across, before he jumps off the platform, flipping upside down and locks his legs over the steel cable, sliding down while being upside down.
"what the?" Dave shouts both impressed and freaked out.
"They said there was some unusual behavior to be expected, but this is rather intense I have to say." Roxy says with a worried sigh.
"Watch out below." 10k shouts when he gets closer to the smaller observation tower.
"Wha..!" Ben shrieks alerted, while the others take a step back, to make room for the last teen of their group.
"Off, I forgot about the poles." 10k says, stopping his descend shortly before crashing into the empty harnesses.
"Dude, what was that about?" Kenji asks weirded out and slightly jealous, since Brooklynn, filmed his stunt for her show.
"Just trying something." 10k says, shrugging his shoulders, while taking off the metal guards.
"Why would you want to try that?" Yasmina asks.
"I figured, better know beforehand what to do when there are no more harnesses available." 10k explains.
"I guess that makes sense?" Brooklynn says.

Kenji, Brooklynn and Darius sneak out after their curfew to check out an enclosure. They manage to sneak past the parks staff, with only one pair of eyes catching them while they disobey their counselor's rules.
"Hey, Dave, Roxy three of the others just sneaked out. I'm gonna follow them just to be safe, but I'll leave the punishing them up to you." 10K relays to the counselors over his radio, slipping on his backpack before heading out as well, having only seen the teens leave through his window.
When he catches up with them, having followed their footprints he sees two of them standing at the railing of the Velociraptor enclosure.
"So, what are we doing here huh?" 10k asks, arriving next to Darius and Brooklynn while Kanji is below them, having climbed over the railing and down the internal fence to fetch Brooklynn's phone which he accidentally threw over.
"Uhm..." Brooklynn says nervously.
"Guys! I got it, it's as good as new." Kenji shouts up, alerting 10k.
"Crap, dude climb up here now!" 10k yells down, seeing the phone light below them.
"What? Where did you come from? Anyways, I'm not leaving without a picture for Brooklynn's web show." Kenji says dismissively.
"I hate him already." 10k groans, laying down his backpack and fetching three darts with some liquid in them, sliding them in holder on his flak jacket.
"When I tell you to, hit the red button alright?" 10k asks, looking at the girl, who nods quickly.
While hurrying over to the console however she trips on his backpack and bumps against the orange button on the board.
"Crap." 10k says, jumping over the railing, landing on a steam pipe and crouches down, jumping from the yellow pipe to the top of the inner cage, which gates are opening due to Brooklynn's accident.
"Kenji, dude. Run to the gate behind you." 10k tells him, making Kenji look at him and hit the camera button, shooting a photo with flash, riling up the Velociraptor approaching him.
"Get down and crawl over to the Gate." 10K shouts to the frozen in fear teen, while landing in front of him, jumping from the cage he was climbing down.
"Alright, I know you're probably wandering what this doofus is doing here huh?" 10k asks the Velociraptor, taking one of the darts in his hand while crouching over slightly, ready to dodge a possible attack from the reptile.
"I'll distract it!" Darius shouts, jumping on the steampipe until it cracks open and some steam escapes, before it stops moments later.
"Good idea, but they turn off automatically when there is an accident." 10k shouts up, pushing Kenji further back, while walking backwards, until they are up against the door.
"Here, are you hungry?" Roxy shouts, throwing down some slabs of meat in the middle of the closure, making the other three raptors in the cage turn towards the food source.
Feeling metal against his fingertips, behind him 10k yells "Open it now!" and Brooklynn hits the red button, making the outer doors open slowly, alerting the Velociraptor, which storms at the two boys.
10K reaches into his back pocket and takes a pebble, throwing it against a metal beam to his left, darting in the same direction, while shouting "Here!" a few times.
The Velociraptor turns his attention towards the teen and rushes towards him, while Dave drags out the scared Kenji.
"Red button again!" 10k shouts, before jumping against the wall he's standing next to with one foot and leaps over the Velociraptor while hitting it with the tranquilizer dart in its back.
"Orange button again." 10k says loudly, and the inner gates close with the weakening raptor retreating in his safe habitat, leering at 10k as it runs past him.
"Phew. That was closer than I wanted it to be." 10k says, seeing a rip in the shoulder padding of his flak vest.
"Good job Brooklyn, you really were a great help." 10k says, picking up the pinkette's phone and climbing up the inner cage and back to the viewing area, where Darius and Brooklynn are standing looking as though they just had to run 10 miles.
"I'm really sorry about hitting the orange button before, I tripped." Brooklynn apologizes frantically.
"Calm down, I know. It happens, believe me." 10k tells her with a small smile, handing her the phone while rubbing her arm calmingly.
"And you, that was some good thinking, distracting them with the heat." He compliments Darius, while putting his other two darts back in his backpack, before slinging it on his back and leading the two teens down the stairs, to the waiting counselors.
"You guys are in big trouble." Roxy tells them with her arms crossed.
That same evening 10k is sitting in one of the group areas, when Brooklynn passes by him, headed to her room.
"So, what'd the executioner say?" 10k asks chuckling.
"They let me off easy, since I only came along to shoot a video. Being famous has its perks." She tells 10k, flopping down next to him on the couch exhausted.
"So, what are you doing here in the dark?" She asks, motioning to the turned off lights.
"I didn't want to risk waking the others." 10k replies with a shrug.
"hmm, I got you all wrong don't I? I thought you don't like anyone, but you just have a hard time showing others that you care." She asks amused.
"I don't know. That's for you to decide." 10k says honestly, shrugging his shoulders.
"Hey, wow look at that. Are you some kind of acrobat?" Brooklynn then asks, looking at her phone.
"No, why?" 10k asks confused.
"Looks like Kenji hit record when he was crawling away and dropped my phone, it caught you jumping over that raptor and hitting it with that dart." She says impressed.
"Instincts." 10k tells her with a shrug.
"Some kind of instincts you got. My only instinct is to try everything possible to make people like me." Brooklynn tells him slightly embarrassed.
"At least people do like you." 10k jokes, patting her shoulder.
"Well I should head to bed, goodnight hero." She says, getting up from the couch.
"Night … princess." 10k says, having tried to come up with a nickname as a comeback.
"Really? That's all you got? Roxy is right, you don't know how to talk with people." Brooklynn says teasingly, while walking to her and the other girls' room.
