Summary

In a massive battle at Camp Half-Blood, Percy is fatally wounded. In a sudden twist, he finds himself standing before the most powerful being in the universe. How will this change things for Percy? What does Chaos want with Percy? And how will Percy react to this? I'm still new to Fanfic, so feedback is welcomed and encouraged.

Hey everyone, Wolf here. While I was watching Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 6, I was inspired to write this. I'm not abandoning Light In The Water, I'm just gonna have another fic, that way I can keep getting content out to y'all, even if my ideas run dry on one fic. Thank you to everyone for clicking on this fic, it means a lot. Sadly, I don't own anything, all rights go to Rick Riordan and Disney. Anyway, on with the first chapter.

Percy POV

It was a calm and peaceful day, no sign of anything bad. Things were going great between Annabeth and I, and I even got Athena's permission to marry her! I set up a date this evening, at the beach. I was planning on proposing to her after we ate. Sadly, it looked like I might not get the chance. I had a demigod, son of Hermes, run up to me, panting and looking like he had just seen a ghost, which was possible, Nico loves messing with people.

"Percy, I have bad news, and even worse news." he said.

"Ok, give me the bad news first." I replied.

"We have an army approaching, with some strong monsters like the Minotaur, a Hydra, and worst of all, the Chimera." He reported.

"Shit, that's bad, what's the worse news?" I asked.

"The army is led by Perses, and he looks pissed." he said.

"Fuck, can we expect any help from the gods?" I asked.

"Probably not, only Artemis would be able to help, Annabeth is contacting Thalia now." Ok good, we might have some reinforcements coming.

"Then let's hope that they can help us. Set up our forces for battle. The Ares and Hermes cabins are up front. Apollo and anyone that is a good archer will be in the back. Athena, Hephaestus, and Demeter cabins are assisting Ares and Hermes. Any Apollo campers that excel in healing, are in the infirmary. Aphrodite will be helping get the injured to the infirmary, although let's hope we don't have any wounded. I will be on the frontlines. If the hunters show up, they will assist wherever they can." I barked out orders, going into what Annabeth calls my "Leader Mode".

"Roger that sir, we'll get set up. the army is about an hour away." the demigod said before running off to relay orders.

I quickly found Annabeth and relayed the information. "Great job Seaweed Brain, you actually came up with a pretty good plan! The hunters will be here soon, Artemis is going to flash them here, so they don't lose time getting here."

"Sounds good, looks like we might miss our date tonight." I said sadly, mostly because of what I was planning.

"It's ok Percy, we can set up another one. Staying alive is more important." Annabeth replied.

"True, ok, we should probably go prepare for the battle, it sounds like it's going to be bad." I said, before running off to my cabin. When I get there, I start by strapping on my armor. It's lightweight, custom made by Tyson, with the help of Braires. I also grab my trident, Maelstrom, which I got as a birthday present from dad, it was made by Tyson and Braires, and it was imbued with the power of the sea by dad and Triton, surprisingly. It turns out that he and Amphitrite actually like me. Anyway, Maelstrom has its own power source, so it doesn't drain my power. It's a combination of Atlantean steel, and mortal steel, so it's lethal to both immortals and mortals alike. I can also unleash blasts of pure power, kind of like dad does. He said that it's kind of like my own symbol of power. Zeus even agreed that I deserved it! I was really shocked by that.

After I put Maelstrom, in pen form, in my pocket, I did the same with riptide. Oh, I forgot to mention, Maelstrom also has a sword form, in case I want to dual wield. I can also transform both swords into katanas if I want to. Once I had my weapons and armor, I made an IM to my dad. I wanted to make sure I talked to him before the battle, because it could very well be my last from the sound of it.

I used my powers to create a rainbow, and said "Iris, show me Poseidon, probably in Atlantis." Oh yeah, I should probably mention that Iris gave me unlimited IMs for the rest of my life, even if I become immortal. The shimmering form of Poseidon appeared in the mist.

"Oh, hey Percy, what's up? And why are you in full battle armor?" he asked.

"We have an army approaching, led by Perses. Artemis and the hunt will be here soon to help. I just wanted to call and say I love you, and to thank you for everything that you have done for me. This battle might be my last. If it's not, I will be proposing to Annabeth soon, but if I don't make it through this one, I need you to give her the ring. It will be in my nightstand drawer." I spoke.

"I can do that, and good look, it sounds like this battle might be pretty bad. I hope the armor holds up, and I love you too. I'm glad that I was your father. I am so proud of you son, you managed to heal the rift in our family that has been growing for millennia. You even managed to get Zeus to admit that he was wrong! You have made this world a better place." dad replied.

"Thank you, dad, I only did the right thing. Someone needed to make Zeus realize that he was being an ass." I said. On cue, I heard thumber rumbling. Dad must have heard it too, because at the same time, we yelled "Oh shut it, you know it's true!". We then burst out laughing. I heard someone knocking on my cabin door, saying that it was time.

"Alright dad, it's time. I love you, and if I die, promise me that you'll move on. I don't want you hung up on my death for a millennium." I said to Poseidon.

"I promise son, it just won't be instantaneous. Anyway, good luck with the battle. I hope I get to see you soon." my dad replied. With that, I swung my hand through the mist, and walked out the door. I made my way over towards where I saw people gathered. I walked over to Annabeth, who gave me a status report.

"Everyone is set up how you said, and I gotta admit, you made a good plan. I love you, and I hope we both make it through this alive" Annabeth said.

"As do I. I guess I should give a speech, that's kind of the leader's job." I replied.

I made my way to the front of the crowd. Someone brought up a crate for me to stand on, so everyone could see me. "We stand in the face of almost impossible odds. Our enemies hope to scare us with their numbers. But we have something that they don't. We have strategy. We don't rely on brute force alone. We have faced impossible odds before, and we came out victorious. We will not give up. We will not surrender. We will push through. If you get hurt, keep fighting. If you get killed, walk it off. FOR OLYMPUS!" I yelled.

"FOR OLYMPUS!" everyone yelled in perfect unison, it was so loud that it literally shook the ground.

With that, we charged. We met the enemy head on. I started hacking and slashing so fast, I became a blur. I was dual wielding with Riptide and Maelstrom in sword form. I soon found an old friend of mine. The Minotaur was running around, slicing everything in his path, friend or foe. "Hey Ground Beef!" I yelled at him. He turned his head and saw me. His eyes filled with so much rage, I could tell that he hated me with every fiber of his being. He started rushing towards me with his head tilted, like he was going to run me through with his horns. When he reached me, I just sidestepped and slashed one of his horns off. He didn't seem to be as affected by it as he had been in the past. He then swung his delta shaped axe, with the intent of taking my head off. I rolled to the side to evade the swing and made a quick decision.

I switched Maelstrom to Trident form and put away Riptide. I did this because Maelstrom has extra reach in this form and would be better for blocking the axe. When he swung again, I blocked the swing with the staff of the trident, before twisting it in a way that disarmed the Minotaur. I picked up the axe, which was lighter than I expected, and ran at him, before doing a spin and chopping his head off. Old Beef Head disintegrated, going back to Tartarus. I jumped back into the fray, using both the prongs and the other end of the trident to stab and slash.

Trident fighting is a fair bit different from sword fighting. You have two ends instead of one, so you can do more attacks and combos. I enjoyed trident fighting, and it gave me an advantage against some opponents. Another good thing about tridents, it that most people don't know how to counter them. They are used to fighting swords and spears. Anyway, I found my next big target. The Hydra what terrorizing the Hermes cabin, who couldn't get close enough to chop the heads off. I swapped back to dual wielding, but this time they were in katana form. I then quickly made my way over to them, and we devised a plan. I would chop off the heads, and they would throw a vial of Greek Fire at the stump. I ran up, dodged the fire breath, and chopped off a head, then another, I just kept dodging and cutting till the Hydra was dead. It was actually fairly easy. I then jumped back into the fray, still dual wielding, and found Annabeth. She was facing Perses, along with the Ares cabin, with the Apollo campers providing ranged support. I made my way over to them, and Perses spotted me.

"Ah, there he is! The man of the hour, Percy Jackson! You defeated my brothers and sisters, and for the, you will PAY!" Perses yelled. "Percy Jackson, I challenge you to a fair 1 on 1 fight. if I win, you die, your forces surrender, and your camp is ours. If you win, I go back to Tartarus and my forces surrender."

"I accept Perses. Everyone, form a circle around us. this goes until one of us dies, nothing short of." I replied. "Will, count us off"

"Are both fighters ready?" Will asked, getting two nods. "Five, four, three, two, one, fight!"

We started circling each other, both waiting for the opponent to make the first move. Perses was wielding his spear, and I was still dual wielding katanas. Perses got impatient, and lunged with a stab, testing my reflexes. I parried and spun around, slashing at his arm. He blocked, but I managed to spin around the block and get a slash in on his other arm. I then followed that up by slashing his back with a parallel cut from both swords. he howled in pain, and I hooked his spear between my swords and yanked it out of his hand. I then with one swift move, chopped his head off, ending his misery. I took the spear, which was left behind as a spoil, and it shrunk down into a pen, like my other weapons. I felt a rush of power go through me, and I felt stronger. This was probably me inheriting his domain, which meant I made him fade. All at once, everyone started clapping, including the monsters on the enemy side. But one monster wasn't impressed, and certainly didn't surrender.

The Chimera rushed at me from behind, and I felt something clamp down on my leg, and then my leg felt like it was on fire. I quickly turned, slashing the snake head off, and elongated Maelstrom into trident form, right into the Chimera's mouth. It burst into golden dust, but it was done. I had fought my last battle. the poison was already running its course. there was nothing that we could do, I was going to die. Annabeth rushed over to me, and fed me some Ambrosia, but it didn't work. The poison had already spread too much. I said, "I love you, Wise Girl." and gave her a kiss, suddenly there was a flash of light, and I found myself in a beautiful throne room. It was made of a combination of beautiful white marble pillars, and the floor, walls, and ceiling seemed to be made of galaxies. Then, there was a beautiful woman, in a dress made out of the same galaxies as the room, who was looking at me. Of course, I said the only thing that my brain could think of.

"Umm, hi, how are you?" I asked this being that had power rolling off her in waves.

She just started laughing. "Your reputation as a Seaweed Brain was not exaggerated." She spoke. Who is this woman? "I am Chaos, to answer your question.

I immediately dropped to a kneel, I don't want to die after getting healed because I didn't bow in front of the most powerful person in the universe. "Don't bow, I hate it when people bow, why do they do it? It's so insincere. I assure you, I am not like the Olympians. I would rather we speak as equals. You have earned that right after everything that you have accomplished." Chaos said.

"Umm, ok. If you don't mind my asking, why am I here? I noticed that I am healed, so thank you for that. But why am I here?" I asked

"Well, you are here because I want to make you my champion, is that ok with you?" Chaos asked, looking worried that I would reject the offer.

"I mean, sure. May I ask why me?" I asked her, genuinely curious.

"I chose you because y=you are loyal, caring, you have a pure heart, you would risk your life to save others, and you don't want more power, which is how I know you won't misuse it." Chaos explained.

"That makes sense, so what will this do?" I asked her.

"You will inherit my domains and position of Creator should I fade. But before that, you will have all of my powers, and you will be able to control all of the elements, be them physical or not. But last of all, you will be able to open up portals to anywhere, including alternate universes." chaos explained, leaving me shocked. She was willing to trust me with thjat much power? Wow.

"Ok, I accept, Lady Chaos." I replied.

"Oh yeah, one more thing, call me Chaos, I don't like the whole lady thing. You might feel a bit of discomfort, that's normal. Also, you will be immortal too." Chaos explained.

Suddenly, I felt the power entering me, and I fell to the ground screaming in pain. It was worse than anything I had ever felt before, including Chimera poison. When the pain finally subsided, I felt stronger, like I could take on anything. I also felt something on my back. When I turned around and looked, I was shocked. "I have wings?" I practically yelled.

"Of course, he gets wings. Wings are a sign of a truly pure heart, that has no evil inside it. I should have seen this coming." Chaos said to me. "Other than that, how do you feel?"

"I feel great, like I could take on a thousand armies and not even break a sweat." I replied.

"That's good. Ok, the time has come for you to start your journey. The first place you will be going is another universe. They will need you far more than any of your friends. Also, you have the power to mentally contact anyone, from anywhere, even other universes." Chaos spoke.

"Ok, will you inform everyone of what happened? I want them to know." I asked.

"Yes, I can, ok, I'll open up the portal, since you still don't know how your power works. Also, if you need me, just mentally ask for me, and I'll help you any way I can, although I can't physically be there, I can give you tips and help you understand your powers." Chaos said, before opening the portal.

"Thank you, Chaos, it means a lot that you chose me for this. Also, give Annabeth the ring, I'm sure you know where it is." I spoke. Once she nodded in confirmation, I stepped through the portal, and everything went black.

And that's chapter 1 of Percy Jackson, Universal Traveler. As of right now, I'm going to finish the Star wars portion of the story before he moves on to another universe.
