The Contestant looks around confused "You didn't even give me a chance to answer sincerely-"

"Let the interview begin"

"Have you played Paper Mario: Thousand years door or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon?"

"I played both of those!" The Contestant responds.

"I'm sorry. You must respond with the exact answer I gave you!" the otherworldly voice states.

"Well, that's no fun" The Contestant frowns.

"It is the rule of the interview!" the voice shouts.

"Who do you think I am? someone who gives boring responses?"

"I mean, if you want to give your response, go ahead! But maybe you won't get something you like! So let's agree to disagree, you've selected both?" "Ooooh...You didn't finish them, didn't you? Wait, that makes no sense. I simply asked you if you played them, didn't I?"

Did you forget already? "The Contestant asked unimpressed".

"...Yes. Let's say both. Anyway, let's go for the next question!"

"You are going on a vacation! Which one of these locations are you going to?"

"Does a curse has to be a curse to curse others when there is already a curse and the curse is...I have no idea what I'm saying but a curse of being cursed by curses is a curse by itself!"

"And so...Between fighting Bowser or a Blastoise, which one would you rather fight?"

"Blastoise I suppose, I wanna see if I would be able to grab it by the tail too."

"Hmm, could be entirely possible! Though, I guess the difference here is how to soak you'll be instead of burned to a crisp! Now for the next one: You reach a room with a boss in it! ...But after a quick inspection, it appears the boss...Are you?! That can't be possible! Who do you think is the culprit is behind your doppelganger?"

"A Koopa Troopa!Now...Are you ready to begin? Good! Now here you go!"

The Koopa takes a second to react to what the voice said: "Wait, come again-"

A large flash envelops The Koopa, sending him to a brand new area...And unknown to him: No more memories

The Koopa was knocked out on a shore of a beach with his head in the sand. A Lucario walks along the shore of the beach, his mind drifting along as he watches the waves form

The Lucario looks back to The Koopa, finally snapping out of his trance and pulling his head out the sand "O-Oh...Um. Hello." The Lucario blinks a few times at the Koopa and rubs the sand out their eyes "I don't believe...I've seen your species before?"

"Ow! my eyes!" The Koopa looked around and freaked out "where am I? who am I? when am I!?."

Um...Are you okay?

"Um... does it look like it? Who are you?" The Koopa's eyes were red sand due to the sand."

Me? I am Cousteau, a Lucario. And you are?

"I don't know who I am, Cousteau" The Koopa shrugs.

While the two were talking, a Riolu peak from a bush having chains on their paws and legs, a collar, and a protective metal muzzle. They then jump out of the Bush and runs away but they trip over the chain.

"...What happened here?! Were you guys on a slave ship or something?!" Cousteau is visibly confused, rubbing the back of his head.

"From everything, I said beforehand, no."

"Are you sure? You don't seem to remember a thing!"

Cousteau moves toward the chained-up Riolu in the hope to release her binds.

"I'm just worried, that's all. I don't like the way you guys are looking up. Are you all okay?" Riolu starts to snarl at Cousteau, as he got closer "Woah! Calm down! I won't do anything to you. I won't do anything to you." Cousteau frowns with a very worried expression "I don't want to hurt you, just remove your binds. I can snap them away with one cross chop, nothing more, okay?"

"I don't think I would do that if I were you" The Koopa warned.

"Look, if you two came from the sea, there's a chance that…" Cousteau simply gave a cross chop to the binds of The Riolu before stepping back "There. I don't like seeing anyone in binds. Better?"

The Koopa pushes Cousteau back "I know one thing and that the color red means bad!"

"Huh? No! Red means good for my species!"

The unchained Riolu tackles The Koopa and begins attacking him.

Cousteau leaps at the two and takes the Riolu by the collar, throwing her away "SORRY!"

"What did I tell you!?"

"Hey! I don't want to be mean here! It's just what I thought. Look, why are you attacking us?! We mean you no harm. Just calm down...I can remove that muzzle from you, but first, you need to calm down...I mean you no harm, and I don't want anyone who did this to you to come near you. at all. ...Okay?"

"But we don't know her, she can be dangerous!"

"...I have a feeling you two know each other, but I think it's something that happened overseas...Or something I don't know! All of your auras are weird! Whatever happened, I don't like the look of someone in binds, okay? It's-...It's just sick."

"Let's...Let's change the subject." Cousteau puts his back toward the other Pokemon as if putting himself in immediate danger while looking back at The Koopa "I never caught your name, what's your name and species...?"

"How do you expect me to remember my name?"

Cousteau shrugs "If you can remember how to talk, maybe a part of you remembers at least something about yourself...?"

Slowly, The Riolu's claws would be exposed and then slashes Cousteau's back and dash the other direction

"GAH!" Cousteau falls back on the ground and held his newfound scars"... I Knew it! I allowed you to do this!" Cousteau let out a discouraged sigh."It's was nice meeting you...!" Cousteau waves toward the leaving Riolu, but looks back at The Koopa "...I think it's for the best if we just let her be.

"But don't let me be!"

"Don't worry, I'll help you…" Cousteau groans while rubbing his back, "I think... I might see the healers first in town, we might as well discuss to them about your memories, maybe they'll be able to jumble your memories...?"

"I think that... thing of death is going to make death in that town right now!"

Cousteau sighs "She's a Riolu, not a Mega evolved- HEY!" Cousteau shouts toward Riolu "Will you stop? We've already said we're friends! I even allowed you an attack on me! Whatever you've done, or whatever happened to you, just take that away, you're among friends!"

Saying that we are friends with her could put everyone in danger.

Cousteau shrugs "Hey! I tried! Besides, I still have no idea who she is or who you are! Beside…" Cousteau glares at The Koopa What if you're the one that caused her pain?

"Stop assuming that we know each other!"

Cousteau let out a sigh "Right, I'm just trying to understand here...I'm sorry if I am coming off as rude."

I would be mad too if I were assaulted.

"True. This is why I'm trying to understand why she's assaulting us for the moment. Riolu, can you say who got you in binds?... So I can smack their face? Your aura feels off, are you sure you're not trying to hide something? I'm sorry if I'm asking matter who put you in binds, I just find it wrong that someone would put a Riolu like you under binds. You shouldn't be shackled for any reasons-You're just a kid!"

"I am just a kid, yet she still smacked me, but if I do it, I'll look like the bad guy because she is a girl!" The Koopa says triggered.

"Oh...I can't say the age you are since I don't know a thing about your species...:".

The Koopa And Cousteau look back at the Riolu, who was slowly walking back towards them holding a knife and stares at The Kooper with deep hatred.

Cousteau sighs and gives a kick to the Riolu, sending her away "Don't! Should we just go to town? I can't help someone like that. Cousteau looks at the Riolu Look, how about you speak up? I don't know who did this to you, but we're getting sick of you...Things. Why are you threatening us? What serves you to do that?!"

"I feel like yall are gonna turn me in... The simple weak and pathetic that have locked me away…" The Riolu slowly stands up as her eye color changes to goldish black.

"Turn me in and lock you up?! Didn't you hear what I just said?! If the police want you, You'll still have a roof under me. Because I don't think a kid like you should be put in jail. Look, I get it, life's hard but you don't need to see everyone as an enemy. Okay?"

"We don't know her backstory, so we have to be VERY CAREFUL!" The Koopawarns Cousteau once more.

"I know, but I'm assuming things. How can someone go so sour like that? Well, I'd rather give chances."

Glitch particles were beginning to flowing and glowing around the Riolu's body. Then her veins and fur change colors to deep black gray.

"Er...Buddy-I think it's time to leave! Just...Just leave before she does anything worse! I'll keep her away from you!"

"Optimal strategy!" The Koopa flees.

Cousteau gives a very scared look at the Riolu while taking an offense stance as she stands up and gets on guard, upon catching Cousteau off guard and force palms him. But Cousteau shoots an aura sphere at her before running away with an agility boost.

Cousteau catches up and picks up Kooper "CHANGE OF PLANS! WE RUN! AS FAST AS WE CAN!"

Cousteau looks around the forest as he kept running, throwing worried looks around as he kept carrying Kooper "We...We might have to get into a dungeon if this continues!"

"It's gonna keep going, so I think going in now is an optimal strategy."

The Riolu suddenly jumps down the tree and tackles The Koopa out of the Lucarios hands and rolls down the hill with him, both take fall damage.

"OH NO!"Cousteau jumps down the hill and helps The Koopa up. "Um! If we head into a mystery dungeon to get away from her-You won't be mad...?" Cousteau asked The Koopa.

I told you to do that from the start!

The Riolu trips them over as she had company from other Pokemon, each blocking the routes. A Ammongus created stun spores as scizors x-scissor around them to trap them And a Caterpie trapped their arms around with string shot.

The Riolu looks at The Koopa and gives him that discomforting look "It's funny that I've recognized you. Also, having another Lucario to manipulate would seem something you will do. Or should I say, Kooper?"

"Wait...What?!" Cousteau looks back to The Riolu, unable to do anything due to the paralysis Why are you doing that?!"

The Riolu steps on Kooper and looks at Cousteau "Why don't you tell him more."

"Why are you doing that?!"

"Because you're working with this thing."

"Wait?! Who said I was working for him?! I thought you twocame from a slave ship!How did you ever get that from me?!"

"Just hanging with him generally makes you look like that, alright?"

"I just met you two! How did you ever assume that is beyond me! ...And I still got no idea who you are! Or what you want with him!"

The Riolu slaps Kooper "Why should I have trusted over you I know you're my species but I haven't had time to know ya."

"Because why would you? I know nothing about you, what you went through, nothing! ...So tell me. What do you have against this Kooper kid?"

"Who's Kooper?" Kooper asked.

"He's part of a team I despise, alright? I have a rivalry."

"What team?" Cousteau asked while being held by the Riolu.

"It's a long story but, erm...We don't talk about it." The Riolu makes a nervous smile "Well, you see I gotten knocked out before being transferred into a cell but I don't know much apart from Other than something about me going werewolf or berserk-like."

Ah- Cousteau winces "...Are you saying you can go mega at will...?"

"Perhaps it feels natural sometimes."

"...no, you're not. That's why you were in chains, right?"

"Per-perhaps" she gets discomfort thinking about it

"Look. You're pretty lucid right now. Why not stan-... Just take a moment to think about what happened? You already have a family here watching over you. Cousteau looks to every pokemon around They're all here for you, which means they care about you...Right?"

"These aren't family, They are just mons that came to help catch you all. I don't have a family, nor never had one."

"I still don't understand a thing about what's happening."

"Look, I just know this turtle that's named Kooper."

Cousteau lets out a sigh "Look, I already said what I said before, and since you look pretty lucid at the moment, why don't we be your family...?"

"Perhaps I've built a dose of hatred towards him."

"I know, know, it's silly and all, but ...Don't you think you should at least explain yourself better?"

"I-" The Riolu thinks about it as she walks towards the Lucario "I have trust issues with that turtle over there I don't like him after we had an encounter somewhere else. Mostly cause they said I was too dangerous."

Kooper yawns "Well, not my problem. I can see why we would think that if I remembered but even if I did, I can see why by the way you're acting."

The Riolu growls at Kooper "Well, I don't trust him nor his buddy Urshifu."

"Huh? You already encountered him...? What did he do?"

"They tried turning me in after a forest incident that led to burning a forest caused by a motolov."

"If it was that bad, then why not turn me in now?"

"That's the problem. They wouldn't believe especially after they were the ones to turn me in!" the Riolu snarks at Kooper almost about to snap at him."

"Wait! But he doesn't remember a thing! And I already said my part. I'm not gonna do anything to get you to the police. Clear?"

The Riolu climbs up Cousteau's back "Just them, in general, have a team called rescue team supposedly they help out people only to frame them."

Kooper Get's up "And?"

"What do you mean? and Do I have to put a word on ya to understand?"

"Kooper's aura was in distress when he looked at himself. He wasn't lying when he said he doesn't remember a thing. Exactly- And when I've looked at yours while you were in a bind... I was assured you were...Um... Well, that I wanted to carve the skull of whoever touched you."

"Incarcerated. That's what happened." said The Riolu.

"Well yeah, but when you see the aura of someone in binds, you just assume things, you see? Um-Well at least it's not what I think."

"Let me guess, Is the turtle egotistical?"

"Hey, I have no idea! His Aura is mad at you for fighting us!"

Kooper slaps her "How am I egotistical? That sounds like something a dumb stupid person would say!"

"Yeah, maybe because I miss understood" as she growls at Kooper "Better keep your distance, Kooper."

The Riolu jumps off Cousteau's back around then starts to grow a red blackish aura. A corrupted form appeared behind her as the other two freezes in fear and the other Pokemon runs away.

"You seemed pretty intrigued by the multiple people around here, need help with that perhaps? The corrupted form offers. I'm your dark personality, based on Greed and multiple actions towards anything you desire. Why don't you take revenge on those that locked you away and took advantage of you before your normal life was taken away from you? you perhaps don't remember much when you were locked up, right? You were taken inside the prison for arson and murder, Rena Someone Turned you in and ended up framing you."

"How did you get inside me?" The Riolu looks at her in confusion.

"Simple, really you wanted a better life didn't you Rena, everything you ever desire is right in this world-" Looks at Kooper as he untied himself and was pulling on the corrupted forms fur "isn't this the person that turned you in, Rena?"

"All these allegations are not fair if I don't even know who I am or who she is," said Kooper.

"A member of a so-called rescue team, you ended up killing Rena's brother at some point and ended up taking advantage through her whole life experience, known as a fraud towards others and made to look like a hero in the people's eyes, or should I say, Kooper. I'm Rena's personality, her dark and corrupted soul. Something that she was never found peace in."

"That's not nice, why not just leave her and go live your own life?"

"I'm stuck inside her like a fallen Angel. And besides, I'm her hatred~ a dominant personality which I will open the eyes of Rena" The corrupted Delphox explains to Kooper before going back into the Riolu's body.

"Perhaps it's considered an escape from this world. I must be the reflection of people's actions, I suppose" The Riolu smiles.

"That's the first escape I ever heard and it sounds unhealthy," Said Kooper.

"Yeah, it's not healthy. If anything, you're rejecting who you truly are!"

"Why must accept the reality of who I am when I was granted to have the freedom of a world? Perhaps it wasn't a decision, that was already chosen by Someone else."

"...Why do I have the feeling you're being controlled by someone else? Are you? Is that you and not a ghost type...?

"You just saw the corrupted fox come out of her!" Kooper reminds Cousteau.

"...Correct, but it could have been someone or something else" Cousteau gets untied by Kooper and tries to decipher Rena's aura "...I wish I knew how to save you."

"I would too if I wasn't accused of murder and manipulation."

"Alright. You leave me no choice." Cousteau gives a glare to Rena, as he places two paws onto Kooper's hands "Do you see what I'm holding? Do you see the face between my paws? How could you possibly tell me that he caused all of this?! That is the most adorable face I've ever seen Looking into his two beady, pie-eyes!That Aura of his has honesty. His anger stems from your attacks. I see no evil within him. Only frustration. Look, we can help you with this. I still want to help despite everything that happened. Your vileness can end here."

The corrupted Delphox comes back out of the Riolu's body "Don't stress it, Rena."

With hesitation, Cousteau walks over to Rena to hug her, his aura flares with unconditional love. She begins to break down, making a Riolu cry. Kooper walks over to the Delphox before she disappears again, as Rena slowly loses energy and strength before falling asleep

"I think you killed her to set her free. You ok?"

"...Yeah…" Cousteau looks away still fearful of what might happen next, but kept observing Rena while hugging her "...What should we do...?"

"...I believe I can do that. I know a female Indeedee that can take care of her."

"Ok, I dunno what that is, but it seems like I don't know anything," Kooper says again to get it into Cousteau's head.

"That's okay. We can go to the town nearby...Hopefully, she's stay asleep-I can show you the inn when we'll get there and we can split for the night, you wouldn't mind this...?"

"I don't wanna split! I don't know anything about me or your world and you're the only person I trust!" Kooper begs to stay with Cousteau.

"Alright, we'll get her directly to the Indeedee and then head to my home. Let's go. We shouldn't wait any longer."

Cousteau and Kooper reach a house and knocks on it while holding Rena in his arms. He waits a moment before the door opens.

Cousteau's friend opens the door "Hello! How can I...Cousteau?" As she gives a worried look at Rena "...Oh?"

"Alexaris, I know I'm coming out out of the blue, but can you give shelter to this Pokemon...?

"Oh! Of course!" Alexaris gives a worried smile while taking Rena in her arms "...What happened to her?"

Cousteau rubs his head "Long story short, you'll need to make sure she's okay, she needs help...Lots of it."

"Um...I sense darkness in her...But I understand. Don't worry, she's in good hands!"

Cousteau nods "Please, be careful, okay?"

Alexaris nods and smiles at Kooper "...And who your friends?

"AH!" Kooper retreats into his shell "I am not your kind!"

"It's okay, Kooper! She's a long-time friend, and she takes care of those who need shelter."

Alexaris giggles "Cousteau likes to help those who are in need, so I'm not surprised he went out of his way. It's okay! No need to panic! ...We've never seen your kind either, but we're no specialist."

Correct... Cousteau rubs his head "This city is pretty safe for any Pokemon that came from another region so...Don't feel too bad."

Alexaris takes Rena in her arms and shuts the door so Cousteau takes Kooper to his house.

"We should be good, hopefully. Feel free to make yourself home, and raid the kitchen. I have two guests room, one on the second floor, and the other in the basement. The basement is already occupied. She's not currently home at the moment, however, I still suggest taking the second floor since she might enter at any moment from work, she's...Sort of a spy but the good kind. Just keep that between you and me, okay? With that said, the kitchen is yours if you're hungry, and feel free to stay as much as you want. Tomorrow we'll look into who you are and how to help you...We might have to go to the local guild for that."

"O-ok, t-thank you. For a moment I thought I would be caught dead out there."

"Yeah...Me too." Cousteau let out a sigh "So much for trying to help, but things are okay now."

Kooper was now paranoid after everything, but Cousteau hugged him with the same aura and love he gave to Rena. Kooper hugs him back, nuzzling his face into Cousteau's chest near his chest spike.
